Inside the meeting room.

Only Fendrel, Lavender, and Avalon were inside. The rest of Fendrel's subordinate were doing their job. As for the other two, they were strolling within the village. Of course, Fendrel ordered Black to keep an eye of the two.

"First thing first, how did you know that I killed that Lizardman." Fendrel asked, Fendrel was curious how did this guy know he was the one that attacked the Lizardmans.

"Ohh... Well, I ordered a Master Thief to observe the Lizardmans. However you attacked that day, and you killed the Lizardman. That Master Thief, tailed you'll all the way to your village. That's how I know where your village is."

"Ok... So, what do you want?" Fendrel asked, straight to the point. He was not angry that this guy's subordinate tailed him without him knowing. However, he was a little annoyed at himself how careless he is.

"Haha... you know, that Lizardman you killed, was my soon to be subordinate. However since you killed him, my change to become the leader plummeted greatly." Avalon paused a bit, then looked at Fendrel with a serious gaze, before saying. "I want you to help me, with my fight to become the next master of that town."

"Hmm" Fendrel contemplated a bit, before saying. "Then, what would I get for helping you? You can't possibly want me to help you for free, right?"

"Haha, of course... So, what do you want. I will get it with all my power." Avalon said with a smile, its protruding fang sticking out of its mouth.

"Well, I don't really want any material things..." Fendrel became silent for a bit, thinking of what to say.

"Wait, do you use gold coins in your town?" Fendrel asked.

Avalon was a little confused, why Fendrel asked him about it. "Yeah... We use gold, our town was not that much difference of that Demihumans town. We even have trading, on the human town nearby."

"Ohh, that's interesting. You know, I thought humans hated Monsters." Fendrel asked, a little surprised.

"That's right, although those ordinary human hated us. However, those businessman and merchants think otherwise. There's a lot of exotic plants and animals in the forest... So, as long as they will get a profit, they wouldn't really care even if they are trading with the demons." Said Avalon, shrugging.

"That make sense... Well, for what I want is... Give me a list of all the exotic plants and animals that can be found in the forest. Moreover I want you to make an arrangement, for those merchants to come to my village to make a trading, nothing else" Fendrel said.

Hearing it, Avalon eyebrows twitched a little, and he became silent. Seeing that Avalon was hesitating, Fendrel opened his mouth.

"As long as you can help me with that, I promise you that I will do my best to help you get that throne... I can even use my Soldiers to help you." Fendrel said, calmly. However, the way he say it, is like a devil enticing a poor soul.

Avalon sighed inside, before saying. "It's a deal... As long as, you can make a safe route for those merchants to tread on it's not a problem, you know, those merchants were greedy bastard... Here." Avalon handed Fendrel a map. "This is the map of the forest. This is my town, and here..." Avalon pointed out on the top left of the map. "This is where your village is. It took me three days to come on your village."

The map was pretty detailed, there was atleast 100 of village all over the map. Of course, his village was not on the map. Their town was on the top middle of the map, and for his village, it was on the remote top left corner of the map. There was also a town, not that far from Avalon's town. 'That should be the other Old Monster.'

"Is this the whole map of the forest?" Fendrel asked.

"Of course not... that is just a place on the forest we got controlled in, the rest was basically unknown to us." Avalon said helplessly, the forest was so big and ancient. When he was a child Avalon even heard, that the forest was as big as the continent on the mainland. However, no one really knows how truly big the forest is. Since, all of those ventured even deeper on the forest, no one came back to tell the tale.

"As long as you won't ventured passed out of the map, your safe." Avalon said.

"Okay, thanks for the map." Fendrel fold the map and give it to Lavender.

Avalon naturally saw Lavender, however he didn't make a fuss about it. Although, it was unthinkable, why would a human live in a remote village. He didn't dwell on it, since he doesn't care.

"Okay, I will go now. As for the list of exotic plants and animals. I'll just deliver it after two days." Avalon said goodbye, then exited the house. Of course, he was escorted by Purd and Glecs.

After Avalon left the room, Lavender who was silent this whole time, said something.

"Your Majesty, is this okay. What if that Avalon immediately betrayed us, After he becomes the new leader of their town." Lavender, asked a little worried.

"Don't worry, I have plan for that." Fendrel said, while smirking.

"Ohh, before you leave. Tell gioz to come here in the meeting room." As though he remembered something, Fendrel asked Lavender.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Lavender said goodbye then left.
