In a large room, a large man adorned in brown armor. Slams his desk, and bellow at the three people in front of him in anger.

"Karsk!! You're saying the team we deploy to find my son and daughter didn't come back!!..." The man said, with a bloodshed eye.

"Yes, Captain Nedes."

"BOOM"

Nedes slams his hand in the desk again, however, this time it broke. Seeing the broken desk, the people in the room, gulped and began to sweat.

"Karsk, tell all the members that we will be moving out... I will personally go there, that place only has a normal beast roaming around. It's impossible those beasts, can stop the team we deploy... If someone was behind all of this, I will make him taste the worst death he could ever hope." Nedes said with a gritted teeth, it's been two days since his children didn't come back, from their quest.

He let his kids venture on their own because he was assured that no one would touch him and his family. His adventurers' team was at the top in the Waydale town, and everyone knows his personality, if anyone dared to touch his family, then chaos would ensure in this town. He will fight anyone, even if the person behind this was the Lord of the town.

He won't believe that the beast was the culprit of why his children didn't come back. He even specifically ordered Sam to watch over them. Sam was one of his strongest and trusted aides, no one can touch his son and daughter as long as Sam was watching them.

Of course, if a Tier 3 was the one attacking them... Then, they won't survive. However, Tier 3 was rare in this town, usually they had some position in the town, and they were either the head of a strong family, or a top adventurer.

If he was not wrong, there were only five Tier 3 in this town.

Karsk and his other two companions left the room after they bow to him. However, there was one person that stayed behind. A stunning woman, that was holding a staff in his hand, that has a green gem on its end. She was a mage, mages were rare. They usually can only be found in huge cities, because mage was a profession, that not only needs you to have a talent for magic but also needs you to have a lot of money.

The woman walked to him, and gives him a massage on the shoulder.

"Darling, are you okay?" The woman said.

"I'm okay, Jessica... Stop it, you can go now. You need to prepare the adventurers, I need all of them." Nedes immediately stop her, sensing her hand was going down to his chest. His wife was still in the house unconscious after she heard that Laci and Oriel had gone missing. She started crying nonstop until she fainted from exhaustion. His wife still didn't know that he has an affair with Jessica. Although having multiple wives was a norm as long as you had the capability. Of course, there were still people that stick to their one wife, he was one of those people until last year.

Jessica frowns and removes her hand with a displeased expression. She was not a mother of those two children, in her mind if those children died. Then, it would be good for her, especially that she was pregnant right now. She only knew she was pregnant yesterday, so, she hasn't informed Nedes yet.

"Do you want me to call Nakien back?" She asked.

"No, just let them be." Nakien was his oldest son, he was in a quest, along with the other five members of Crystal Horned Adventurer Group, that's what her adventurer group called.

"Okay, I will go now." Jessica said, she didn't even look at him and went straight out. Seeing Jessica, Nedes can only shake his head.

"Where are the Crystal Horned going, are they going on a large-scale quest?"

"I guess so, even Captain Nedes is with them."

"It's too bad that I didn't get accepted, I would be one of them."

"It's okay brother, better luck next time."

"Captain!! captain!!"

A handsome middle age man, who was leisurely sitting on his chair was annoyed hearing the loud voice.

"What is it you better had a good report in your hand, or else I will really put a second hole in your ass." The middle age man said in annoyance, he then gently stroked the spear at his side.

Seeing it, the person who shouted gulped. "Ahm, Captain Hartmod I just got the news, that all the members of Crystal Horned including their Captain, were marching out of the town."

"What!! So they got a large scale quest?! And you didn't even know it! that means you're neglecting you duty!" Hartmod stands up and slowly walked towards the person.

Seeing his captain walking toward him, readying the spear to give him a second hole, he pissed on his pants.

"Aahhh!! Captain, please calm down!!. Before I come here! I visited the Adventurer Guild first!. And the clerk there said that no large scale quest arrived at the Adventurer Guild!." He said hurriedly seeing his Captain was already in front of him.

Seeing that this guy, literally piss on his pants, Hartmod stopped his teasing.

"Ahem!... Okay, you can go now... Ohh, but before you go, wipe that." He said, then walked back to his chair. Acting like he didn't do something, that makes someone piss on its pants.

"Okay, Captain." After wiping his urine, he bolted out of the room like a flash.

He was Friends with Nedest, so, even if that guy gets the large scale quest, he wouldn't really care. He makes his Adventurers Group, not because he wanted to get in power. Well, the reason was, he didn't know himself. He was a playful person and loved to adventure. However, in the end, he becomes a Captain of some Adventurer Team.

Well, he was kind of troubled why that guy, decided to take all of his Adventurers Group at this time when the town was in turmoil.
