□ ■ About 'Talent'

In Infinite Dendrogram, 'talent' has two meanings.

One is adequacy to the job.

Tian has different jobs of aptitude depending on the individual, and even the maximum number of levels available.

Suitable for all jobs and able to raise the counter stop to a total of 500 levels, < Master > can be said to have an incomparable talent with Tian at this point.

But that's another talent that doesn't necessarily make you superior.

It's about how you can use your power.

There is a skill group called Sense Skills.

A group of skills that can be used if you have talent without acquiring skills, such as "cooking" or "painting".

But the way you put it isn't right in a way.

To be more precise - 'Skills can't be used without talent',.

The "cooking" skill is "I know the procedure for making dishes that taste the way I want them to, and I also follow the techniques of knife-wrapping and fire reduction".

At first glance, "cooking" skills make it seem like anyone can cook well.

Unless, however, the premise is broken.

Marie Adler, of Super Killer, possessed "cooking" skills, but she couldn't make "dishes that others thought were delicious" because she was fundamentally a taste-onch.

The same goes for Painting. The specification "I can draw lines and use colors as I thought," but if the painting in my brain is mediocre, it can only be mediocre everywhere.

Although Sense Skills' helps to expose talent ', they don't even cover' non-existent talent '.

And the "manoeuvring" skills used in the operation of Magingear, ships, and vehicles are also sense skills.

It also has improved fuselage performance as a secondary effect, but the essence is that the body moves so that the fuselage can be manoeuvred as intended.

The higher the skill level and DEX, the greater the obedience of the airframe being "piloted".

Curtis Erdona's [Superpilot] skill level for "Piloting" is EX, which takes the performance of the fuselage to the limit and moves it as you wish.

If I wanted to do it, it would be possible for me to do something crooked.

But that doesn't guarantee victory in battle.

Only compliance is guaranteed by the Piloting skill.

Avoidance, defense, and most importantly, how to attack (...) do not cover.

It moves as you wish, so it doesn't make sense if it doesn't involve the thought of the pilot.

And Curtis Erdona's "talent" was broken.

Spike of divinity aimed at a gap of 0.2 mm armor.

He instantly grasped… intuitively and pierced the armor of [White Rose], both in timing and in the intended position, and even in the time-lag of himself and the fuselage that inevitably arises in maneuvering.

That's his' talent 'and the difference in experience he's had since the era of armoured and tanked.

The sense skill of "piloting" helped his "talent" reveal to the extreme, and he was also using "piloting".

In that regard… Hugo, relative to him, can never be superior.

◇ ◇ ◇

□ [Armored Pilot] Hugo Receps

Relative opponents were troublesome opponents far above my assumptions.

[Rose] was stopped from sewing through a gap in armor. Even if you try to manipulate that right arm to pull through Lance, Lance doesn't make it slight.

That's due to the difference in output from [Imperial Glory], which gets Lance.

Although this [Rose] can demonstrate the output of the Pure Dragon class, that one clearly outweighs that one.

If I were to say it... No, it should be called Dragon King Magic Gear.

"More than catalog specs, or…"

That's probably the difference between the pilot.

I remembered it in the name of the perk weapon he spoke of as [Dragstinger].

The owner of that privileged weapon is Curtis Erdona, the pilot most famous for his drife… [Superpilot] before I started < Infinite Dendrogram >.

"Although my sister said 'I don't even know who took it away from me in the civil war'..."

There is no such thing.

The owner who was kept just took it away.

And that fuselage is a few steps stronger than catalog specs with his skills as a [superpilot].

…………

Things are pretty bad.

Pilot skill and fuselage performance.

By comparison, the other side wins in most respects.

Worst of all...... uptime.

No matter how much you let this one hold, the limit is enough, and half of it is for the second mode of combat that uses Bouclier Planetter.

Over there, by contrast, I can move semi-permanently because I've been using the power of civilization for a long time.

Even if they just stop us from sewing like this, we're not far from losing.

"... but"

But there are only three advantages to this one.

Airframe strength due to superimposition of mythical metal alloys and defensive skills.

Then Cuco's Hellgate. Thanks to this, we are able to acquire a unilaterally advantageous condition: 'Win if you break the airtightness of the opponent's cockpit'.

And...... the presence of Mr. Niara.

Two on one. This number of advantages and... if we let even that tactic we met before we went in, we still have a winning chance.

"To do this, we have to do this."

"Oh."

If you can't move, there's no chance.

Worst of all, if you purge your right hand off your elbow, you'll be released, but if you do that, you may not have enough 'hands' in later deployments.

What to do......

"Before we talk, let's split up first"

While I was thinking, Curtis pointed his left hand at the entrance where we came in, along with the words.

"-" Missile Darts "

Shortly after the words, [Imperial Glory] 's left forearm armor rose and several holes - missiles were ejected from the small missile launch port.

The missile blasted the ceiling in front of the door and turned it into a galeche that filled the door.

That blocks Mr. Niara's rays and puts me and the enemy aircraft in a completely one-on-one situation.

"Huh...!

One of the three advantages is crushed and I tongue with impatience.

……

But soon I realize.

'Before we talk', what do you mean?

In the first place, how did Curtis first pierce [Rose] 's elbow?

If you could have targeted the gap in the joints, you could have killed me for the gap in the cockpit opening and closing...?

"Well, one just when you're ready... no, let me ask you two"

At the same time that I question, Curtis said so.

"... what?

"It's a simple story, something you would know."

I would, you know?

The leader of the terrorist who occupied this [Eltram] gave you the kind of information you asked for?

'That's the first question.... How can I disarm it?

"... you mean Hellgate?

Indeed, I would be the only one who would know about Hellgate, which [froze] the soldiers who would be his men.

But Curtis cleverly shook the head of the fuselage and denied it.

'Not that way now. About this [Glory].'

That's what Curtis said to block my words......

If you were a member of the Triangle of Wisdom, would you know? How to lift the feature limit (...) for this [Imperial Glory] '

……

Functional limitations......?

Even though it still exerts the power to overwhelm [Rose], there are still restrictions on the aircraft?

Guys, what the hell... make a bucket of stuff...

"If you know, let me know"

The golden fuselage brings the dragon head closer to this side and asks.

"- How to turn off voice checking when using built-in weapons"

"... Huh?

Audio, matching?

'It's a joke restriction you can't use without pronouncing your armed name. That doesn't even make it safe when the voice lord takes it away because he doesn't care who it is. What is it for, this feature?

... Speaking of which, he had earlier pronounced 'Missile Darts'.

Like the [Marshall II] I used to ride, although the < Maggie > uniform is something that you don't normally have to pronounce if it's not so special...

I just know why it's voice checked.

[Imperial Glory] is a one-of-a-kind super robot based on the power furnace of civilization from the previous period, bringing together the total power of the Triangle of Wisdom.

So I'm sure one of the members mentioned it.

- If you're a super robot, you can't take it off screaming for arms!

Something like that......

"Why bother declaring and using armed names? Meaningless but negative in practice. Obviously, there are only disadvantages. It is directly connected to the matching and cannot be used on the bluff either. What did you guys have in mind, these functional limitations? What are you paying me back for? At the time of [Glory] 's production, I thought our relationship was good, but didn't you think Reinhardt's hand had been around since then?

…………

I could see how much I had ever suffered from that functional limitation in words that curled and stood.

But I'm sure there's no reason for that disadvantage.

is a gathering of hobbyists.

Because there are also many people who want unnecessary style and beauty.

"... the production of that fuselage was before I entered the clan, so I don't know how to turn it off"

I can only say yes because I really don't know anything about it, even as I do a rush.

Because it's about our members... maybe there's no way to turn it off in the first place.

"... right"

Clearly discouraged, Curtis said so.

What if you didn't kill me with the first shot, just to hear this?

For example, although we are in a dangerous situation….

"Now let's move on to the question of fate"

That's a foregone question and apparently there was something else on the subject.

Thanks to you, my neck is still connected.

Can my men's [freeze] be lifted? Vital reactions have been confirmed, but energy waveforms are also different from normal [frozen] conditions. Can it be disarmed at your discretion, with murder, or will it cease to be permanently disarmed with murder? I'm keeping you alive because I don't know that. '

…………

As I said earlier, 'Not You Now', the real issue was still about Hellgate.

Indeed, Cuco's [frozen] is not like normal [frozen]. Resistance items are disabled if the person meets the criteria, and healing items are ineffective.

And if I solve the Hell Gate or become a death penalty, it won't be lifted for an hour.

The only time I can release it immediately is when I unfreeze it.

"Without lying, you should answer"

If you say so, I'm sure you have a "verdict of authenticity".

"... if I die, I can solve it in as little as an hour"

"..................... That's too late"

Well, I guess so.

Because a few of the [frozen] military men are working on removing the power reactor.

Ten, eighty-nine, he must be the engineer that brought him here for this.

If the aim of the Orthodox government is a power reactor, the aim cannot be achieved if they cannot move.

And I'm sure...... there's not an hour of time limit.

'The way you put it. There are other means of disarming it, even if you think about it?

"Immediate release only when I release it at will"

I don't lie.

I don't even need to put it on.

'I see. Do you mean that? The only way to free them is to kill you and wait an hour, or respond to a deal with you (...)'

"... Exactly"

If [frozen] military personnel are important to the opponent... it's like I'm already taking hostages.

The option of waiting an hour is not for them.

Because I already know the trouble that has happened in all parts of the ship.

I don't know how much we know, but I'm sure we're in a hurry.

'Shall I hear it for once? What are the terms of the exchange?

"Immediate withdrawal from this [Eltram]. I don't take anything away from you, I don't kill anyone, I want you to leave immediately"

... from the other person, an option that doesn't get prey but doesn't have to lose personnel.

An escape route that if you give up and run away here now, there will be no further deterioration of things.

However, if the opponent leaves the ship... perhaps Mr. Manigold can handle it with shelling. I can destroy my retreating back with that shell.

Thinking about it is the same as putting it in a trap, it's like a sister's way... but if you pity them here, that's all innocent people will be sacrificed.

That's not sleeping well.

So on condition of a trap in the name of retreat, I do not lie and present the [freeze] lifting, …?

"... once (...)?"

What do you mean, listen?

'Oh. Will that still be the demand? Then there's no choice. "

Curtis answered with a slightly troublesome voice to my question - pointing the left hand of the fuselage at the soldiers in front of the power reactor.

"Missile Darts"

The small missiles hit [frozen] military men directly at subsonic speeds as they pulled the tail of the flame, grinding their bodies to pieces of wood dust and burning them down, just like the previous ceiling.

"Hey......!?

'Oh. You too. Paint Napalm.

With words, a tail balancer is wielded that mimics the tail of a dragon extending from the rear of the fuselage.

At the end of the tail the fiber is bound, which is damp with some liquid.

Along the tail motion the liquid descends on two < Magingear > … [frozen] by the pilot [Marshall II].

Two seconds later, the liquid ignited and burned up violently, melting the armor and burning down the pilot's ice statue.

"What are you doing!?

I didn't understand.

I didn't want to understand.

But I get it.

- Because he's only going to be a hostage, he said he took care of it first.

'I have no choice. Really, I can't help it. Let's remove the power furnace by force. It could be damaged somewhat, but if you're as good as rumored, you can fix it.'

That's what Curtis said, as if he didn't think anything about putting his men in his hands.

All I cared about was the hassle of getting a power furnace. If you swallowed my exchange terms and let my men go, you wouldn't get it, so you eliminated the hostages that were only out of the way.

"Aren't you one of us......!?

'I see the balance because I am the one who leads. The value of that power reactor and the weapons made from it is higher than the loss of personnel and equipment. That's all. "

…………

"I do not hate sacrifice if it is to serve the purpose of defeating Reinhardt. It was because they thought so too that they raided the [Eltram]. If it turns into them, there's no choice. '

I remember standing on my back with the corpses of those who were my companions.

Once upon a time, my opponent...... Goz, the second head of the Goz Mays Bandits.

I don't think anything about the death of my men. On the contrary, the outer road delighted that there had been more meals.

Although they are not similar in appearance, they are similar in way.

I guess to him he is only a pawn for purpose, not a companion to his men.

"Are you...!

'The question is over. - You don't have to keep him alive anymore. "

With words, the tail balancer sways.

It was obvious that he was willing to incinerate in Napalm, keeping it sewn to a halt in Lance.

I stepped that it couldn't be crushed with a missile, it would be the result of a calm decision.

Bouclier Planetter

Detach the shield-shaped armor on both shoulders and hit [Imperial Glory] as a floating shield.

But...

'I guess such a gimmick. You'll see.'

The two floating shields had been grabbed and stopped by a subarm stretched from both shoulders of the golden fuselage.

"This too......!

I should have surprised you, but you are totally under control...!

Trying to control the floating shield doesn't move because the retention on the other side beats it.

Farewell, [pilot] of the Triangle of Wisdom. The answer to the question was unexpected, but let's say we ask your people about the first question sooner or later when we triumph over the Empire. Paint Napalm.

And the golden fuselage wields a damp tail with liquid fuel,

――――

- Shortly afterwards, he jumped backwards.

Even Lance, who had stopped [White Rose] from sewing, pulled through and backed off with all his might.

sooner than I can guess the reason for that move......

[White Rose] - Numerous missiles landed.

'Huh...!?

Explosive flames knock armor, shake the fuselage, and noise keeps running on the internal monitors.

"Ugh, ku..."

Iced armor on the surface crumbles with Cuco's short scream, and [White Rose] lays low on the ground.

"Cuco......!?

"...... Takeshi. Not yet, very... '

As Cuco put it, icing armor was crushed by a significant percentage, but as far as the monitors are concerned, there isn't much [White Rose] damage inside.

Because the majority was prevented by mythical metal armor, the fuselage is still likely to move.

However, since the explosive pressure is also causing internal damage, it will take a little time to fully recover. I can't move in the meantime.

... All right.

"... Unlock Hellgate. Keep the shattered fragments intact"

"Uh-oh, mam."

Follow my instructions and Cuco will disarm the Hell Gate.

The current [White Rose] only looks ostensibly suspended thanks to a flashy splash of icing armor.

So if you unlock Hellgate, it should make you think this one [passed out] even if it's not a death penalty.

It's called "Raccoon Sleeping" in the Eastern Idiom.

... Niara's cliché has shifted.

"But now the missile, what the hell...?

Obviously, it's not like the [Imperial Glory] missile.

On the contrary, the majority of the missiles were aimed over there.

But... [Rose] is not on my side at the time of the attack.

Who the hell...

'That's a good reaction! I saw the contents as super professional pilots!

As in answer to my question, such a voice came from a hole in the ceiling where… [Imperial Glory] above.

Missiles would have jumped in, too. Out of that hole...... now a giant object jumps in.

The voice belonged to a cheerful looking woman, but the appearance of the thing that appeared diverges from the voice.

- It was a red and white colored machine dragon.

"That's..."

That looks familiar.

Things I saw over Mr. Niara's footage.

In the desert outside the ship, a mechanical dragon was engaged with Mr. Manigold.

The person Mr. Manigold was supposed to be holding back from approaching the ship... appeared in this power block.
