Chapter 1763 Magical Treasure

Chapter 1763 Magical Treasure
With the help of their eldest brother Wan Yicai, the brothers dug up a copper pot under the golden beast, and filled the pot with glittering gold coins.

Knowing that they had dug up the treasure, the two brothers picked it up and ran home in one breath, bolted the door, washed it in a bucket, and put it in a box.

Soon after hearing the news, people from all over the world came to see the treasure, and a total of 3000 people gathered.

At noon that day, the relevant department of Xuyi County, who was having dinner at home, received a report that someone had dug up a large amount of gold.

Immediately afterwards, they sent someone with a camera to drive a jeep for 35 miles and arrived at Nanyaozhuang.

I saw that the three huts of Wan's family were completely surrounded, and the trees and haystacks of Wan's family were full of people, clamoring to see the baby.

In the crowd, the trees of Wanjia were even broken, the windows were pushed down, and the chicken coop was trampled down.

Some people in the crowd shouted: "Don't be afraid when the relevant departments come, they can't take it away, everyone digs it up, everyone divides it!"

Wan Yiquan's father lay on the treasure box to "protect the treasure", and he shouted: "Come quickly, help, the house is about to be crushed!"

Afterwards, when the brigade secretary and captain tried their best to maintain order, the relevant departments squeezed into Wanjia's door.

Facing the chaotic situation, they acted decisively, carried Wanjia's square table to the door, stood on the table with the copper pot in their arms and shouted, "It's just a broken pot, what's the point?"

While publicizing the cultural relics laws and regulations to the common people, they quickly moved the cultural relics to the car, transported them to the county, and hid them in the bank vault.

Soon this explosive news was published in Jinling's media.

Xu Huping, then director of the office of Jinling Museum, immediately reported to the director Yao Qian.

Nanbo then sent Li Wenming and Qian Feng from the Archeology Department to Xuyi.

Experts saw this batch of treasures in the bank, and after identification and counting, there were nine and a half pieces of gold cakes in the copper pot, weighing 9 grams;
15 pieces of horseshoe gold and linzhi gold, weighing 4845 grams;
The 11 gold version of the Chu State coin "Ying Yuan" weighs 3260 grams.

The total weight of the gold beast plus the gold nugget exceeds 20 kilograms.

At that time, the bank had reported the news to Shendu.

However, in the coin museum of the People's Bank of China, the coin "Ying Yuan" of Chu State is missing.

So they also immediately sent people to recruit, and promised to give Xuyi more than 30 yuan in compensation.

A battle for "coins" and "cultural relics" started in Shendu and Jinling.

Soon, the Nanbo staff took the documents from the Sujiang Mansion and the official documents stamped by the Huaiyin Prefectural Committee, and rushed to Xuyi overnight to collect the treasure.

This was their third trip to Xuyi, and under the escort of relevant personnel armed with live ammunition, they finally transported the batch of national treasures to Jinling.

The golden beast is now one of the "treasures of the town" of the Jinling Museum, and it is the heaviest gold artifact discovered by archaeologists in the country so far.

It weighs 9100 grams and contains 99% gold.

It is 10.2 centimeters high, 16 centimeters long and 17.8 centimeters wide, and looks weird.

Among the 10 national treasure-level cultural relics in the collection of Jinling Museum, the "Wrong Gold, Silver and Copper Pot", "Ying Yuan" and "Golden Beast" from the Warring States Period were all unearthed from the cellar of Nanyaozhuang, Xuyi County.

This is a shocking discovery made by local farmers with a shovel. Many archaeologists have no such luck in their lives.

And times like this happen from time to time in China, such as the Song Dynasty porcelain cellars of the Chemical Machinery Factory, which is known as a magical treasure.

Zhangshan Luoshui, Zhongling Yuxiu.

5000 years of cultural accumulation have made Shifang a famous historical and cultural city.

Its magnificent cultural relics and arts carry the soul of Shifang's history, shining brightly and shining brightly.

Since the Neolithic site of Guiyuan Bridge, many Shang and Zhou relics bred by this spiritual soil have the same roots as the Sanxingdui civilization, interweaving a colorful historical picture that spans thousands of years.

It can be said that there are too many treasures hidden on this piece of land.

In March 1972, it was warm and cold.

At Lianglukou (now Matsu Town), the infrastructure construction site of the Sichuan Provincial Chemical Machinery Factory was booming, and the workers were working in full swing.

Suddenly, someone exclaimed, there is something.

Others quickly gathered around to watch, and the scene in front of them stunned everyone.

At a depth of more than one meter from the surface, a huge pottery vat appeared in the eyes of everyone.

Inside, there are a lot of blue and white porcelain stacked one on top of the other.

Seeing this situation, no one dared to move any more. The person in charge of the construction site ordered everyone to protect the site, then stop work immediately and report to the county cultural department.

An hour later, relevant personnel arrived at the scene. They carefully cleaned up the surrounding soil and carefully checked the porcelain.

There are only bowls, plates, cups, saucers, bottles, cups, washes, and bowls, among which bowls, plates, and dishes are mostly, and cups, bottles, cups, washes, and bowls are relatively small.

This is a Song Dynasty cellar, and many of the porcelains in it are works of Longquan kiln, such as Song Longquan kiln porcelain bowls.

This porcelain bowl has a diameter of 8.8 cm, a bottom diameter of 4 cm, and a height of 3.4 cm.

It is the most common Song Dynasty porcelain, and there are many porcelain vases that are slightly better.

It is like a Longquan kiln porcelain vase in the Song Dynasty, with a diameter of 6.7 cm, a bottom diameter of 5 cm, and a height of 16.3 cm.

Of course there are better works, such as Song Longquan kiln Pankou long-necked bamboo vase.

You can roughly see its manufacturing process just by listening to the name. This bottle has a diameter of 10.3 cm, a bottom diameter of 10.5 cm, and a height of 31.2 cm.

This batch of porcelain has been sleeping underground for hundreds of years. After dynasties changed, it escaped wars and soldiers, and was rediscovered in the 20th century. It is a feast for the eyes.

The news that more than 280 pieces of Song Dynasty porcelain were unearthed in a cellar of the Chemical Machinery Factory spread all over the streets and alleys in an instant, arousing the attention and heated discussions of all walks of life, and many media interviewed and reported.

The focus of everyone's discussion was on the source, age, kiln mouth, and vessel type of porcelain.

Provincial cultural relics experts have carried out painstaking and meticulous research work to overcome these problems.

This batch of porcelain is well preserved and stacked neatly, apparently intentionally stored underground.

Among them, the porcelains such as Yingqing painted bowl, Yingqing painted large bowl, celadon-glazed lotus-petal pattern bowl, and celadon-glazed black-patterned plate-mouth vase have unique shapes, and the glaze color is shiny and smooth, which can be regarded as fine porcelain.

Looking through the literature, combined with the shapes, patterns, glaze colors, and decoration methods of this batch of porcelain, experts deduce that this is not something from a kiln mouth.

The shadow blue painted bowl, shadow celadon plate, etc. have the characteristics of JDZ kiln;

Part of the porcelain is similar to the style of the northern Ding kiln.

It is possible that due to the war, the northern Ding kiln was destroyed, and the workers who fired the Ding kiln moved south to Jingzhen, imitating the firing technology of the Ding kiln, and fired the shadow blue porcelain.

Therefore, it not only has the characteristics of Jingzhenying celadon, but also is similar to the porcelain of Ding kiln.

In addition, celadon-glazed porcelain bowls with lotus petal patterns and celadon-glazed porcelain dishes have thick fetal bones and thick and shiny glazes, which have obvious characteristics of Longquan kilns;

Shrimp blue-glazed porcelain bowl, with yellowish green color and simple shape, is presumed to be Yaozhou kiln porcelain.

Why were so many porcelains unearthed in Shifang?Cultural relics experts have uncovered this mystery by consulting historical materials and conducting in-depth and meticulous research.
