Chapter 1960 Contemporary painted pottery with a long history

my country's painted pottery was discovered relatively late, and it is generally believed that it was discovered in 1921, and it is about a hundred years old now.

The birth of painted pottery has a history of 8000 years.

Painted pottery records information on economic life, religious culture and other aspects of the initial stage of human civilization.

Painted pottery culture is widely distributed and lasts for a long time.

From 8000 years ago to about 3000 years ago, it lasted for more than 5000 years.

Across Laoguantai, Yangshao, Majiayao, Dawenkou, Qujialing, Daxi, Hongshan, Qijia and other cultures, it has the highest artistic achievement in the history of painted pottery in the world.

From the perspective of many factors such as production technology, artistic achievements, historical value, appreciation space, etc., painted pottery from Yangshao, Majiayao, and Qijia culture in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, and Qinghai, and painted pottery from Dawenkou culture in Qilu area are the most suitable for collection.

However, the origin of painted pottery in my country has always been controversial.

The 51-cm-diameter painted pottery round-bottom fish-pattern basin found in Dadiwan is the largest fish-pattern basin found in China.

It is completely different from the Yangshao culture in the strata above.

The texture of the pottery is crisp and uneven, and there are almost no large pieces of pottery, and most of the funerary objects in the tomb have been broken.

The excavators vividly called these pottery pieces "puff pastry", which shows that the pottery making technology was relatively primitive at that time.

The shape of the found vessels is very special, with small three-legged supports at the bottom, or round bottoms, or ring feet, and there are basically no flat-bottomed vessels.

What is even more strange is that dark red colored bands were found inside and outside the mouth of the bowl.

The above characteristics undoubtedly indicate that they are not the Yangshao culture that is commonly recognized.

From the stratigraphic point of view, this is the remains of the Yangshao Culture earlier than.

According to the determination of the Archaeological Laboratory of Capital University, the age of the five specimens submitted for inspection is about 5-7300 years ago, which is nearly a thousand years earlier than the Yangshao Culture.

The discovery of the Dadiwan culture not only established the early Neolithic culture in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, but also provided a batch of precious material materials for exploring the origin of painted pottery and agriculture.

Dadiwan painted pottery is almost synchronized in time with the Mesopotamia, where painted pottery first appeared in the world, and Central Asia, indicating that Chinese painted pottery originated in the Weihe River Basin in Northwest my country.

This can be regarded as the origin of ancient painted pottery, and in contemporary times, the art of painted pottery is also developing rapidly.

If you want to imitate ancient times, you must understand the production process of modern painted pottery.

If you talk about contemporary painted pottery, you must know Chuanfu painted pottery.

In the development of contemporary painted pottery art, Chuanfu painted pottery undoubtedly played a vital role.

The rise of the painted pottery industry in Chuanfu was marked by the establishment of Luyi Painted Pottery in 1998.

In just a few decades, the number of painted pottery manufacturers in Chuanfu has exceeded [-], and their products are sold both at home and abroad.

In the country's important handicraft market, consumers can easily buy painted pottery handicrafts that combine classical and modern beauty.

As the originator of this industry, Lvyi painted pottery has gradually disappeared in the historical changes, and the brilliance she once created is naturally unsurpassed.

The company's work "Ten Army God Vases" is collected by the Military Museum of my country.

"1999" is a national gift, and it is presented to the Macao government when celebrating the return of Macao.

Instead, there are manufacturers such as Juyi painted pottery with further technological innovation.

The contemporary painted pottery art production process has a total of more than [-] processes.

It combines the long-standing blank drawing technology, ceramic blank carving technology, and contemporary color technology.

Of course, the development time of contemporary painted pottery art is still short, and the cultural accumulation is still not enough to compare with the long-standing classical painted pottery.

But the formation of a kind of pottery culture takes time and needs more combination of technology and culture of the times.

An industry without culture cannot stand the test of time.

In the thousands of years of early pottery development, the pottery making technology was not yet mature, and the technical conditions for the production of painted pottery could not be met.

Therefore, painted pottery did not appear until thousands of years after pottery was produced.

From the appearance of pottery to the production of painted pottery, this is a process of long-term exploration, trial and error, and continuous improvement.

At the beginning of pottery production, there was no deliberate decorative pattern, but some irregular marks were often left in the process of hand pinching, scraping of flakes, and beating the walls of the pottery.

With the enhancement of people's aesthetic consciousness, they gradually transformed the irregular imprints into intentional and regular decorations.

Such as rows of ticking patterns, a circle of hand dimples, etc.

Jomon, which appeared in large numbers on early pottery, is a decoration formed by winding ropes on wooden sticks and rolling the walls of vessels.

This can not only enhance the firmness of the pottery body, but also have a decorative effect of beautifying the appearance of the pottery, killing two birds with one stone.

Later, there were more and more types of decorative patterns that only played a decorative role, and gradually evolved into pure decorative patterns.

Therefore, people pay more and more attention to the decoration of pottery.

With the technological conditions available, painted pottery came into being.

Painted pottery is to paint various natural mineral pigments on pottery to form various colorful patterns, so that pottery is no longer just a practical product, but also has the aesthetic function of a work of art.

Most of them are first painted on the pottery body, and then fired in a kiln, and the pigment is chemically changed and integrated with the pottery body.

The color of such painted pottery is not easy to fall off, durable and beautiful.

There is also a kind of painted pottery, which is to paint the pigment directly on the fired pottery.

This kind of painting is attached to the surface of the utensils, and it is easy to be damaged and peeled off during use.

The two types of painted pottery in the Dadiwan culture mentioned above appeared at the same time, with the former being the majority.

In fact, any kind of thing, the process of its production, must have certain technical conditions.

There are three technical conditions for the production of painted pottery. The first technical condition for the production of painted pottery is the understanding of natural mineral pigments.

As a painted pottery pigment, it must not decompose when fired in a high-temperature kiln.

For example, hematite with a higher content has high temperature resistance.

Moreover, it is necessary to master the color development law of minerals, what kind of pigment will turn red or black after firing, so that the ideal color can be produced freely.

Pigments can only be used after being processed and diluted. The thickness of the powder and the concentration diluted with water all have a process of continuous familiarization and mastering of performance;
The surface of the pottery body must reach a certain degree of smoothness, so that the pigment can penetrate into the pottery body.

This requires careful screening and elutriation of the pottery clay, and repeated polishing of the surface after drawing and forming.

Most of the painted pottery in archaeological discoveries is clay pottery, and even the sandy pottery such as the Xindian culture has relatively delicate surfaces.

The main body of Dadiwan culture pottery is fine sand pottery, but the surface of the pottery is covered with a relatively smooth mud layer;
Finally, the higher the temperature of firing pottery, the stronger the adhesion of the pigment and the firmer the decoration.

When the firing of painted pottery developed to a certain stage, humans gradually changed the structure of the pottery kiln and increased the sealing of the kiln chamber to ensure the production of painted pottery by the firing process.
