Chapter 3053 C Mode

Chapter 3053 C Mode

After the meeting, Meng Houkun followed Zhou Buqi to his office.

Zhou Buqi laughed at him, "What's wrong with you? Why are you as dark as a monkey?"

"Sunny!"

Meng Houkun waved his hand, looking very proud.

Zhou Buqi was very curious, "Where did you go to bask in the sun? Did you go to the construction site?"

Meng Houkun said: "I am now the chairman of Yuanwei Group. I plan to sort out the supply chain. I have traveled all over the country and suffered a lot."

"effective?"

"Yes, at least the cost on the supply side was reduced by 3%."

"You have to make it about the same. Milk tea and drinks are for people to drink. Don't lower the cost too much, or else the product quality will suffer."

Zhou Buqi was not worried about others, but it was very likely that Meng Houkun would do something ridiculous like this.

Meng Houkun felt insulted. "Am I that unreliable? It's actually very simple. I just sold a factory. It has nothing to do with food safety."

"Oh?" Zhou Buqi glanced at him, "What factory?"

Meng Houkun didn't need to be polite with him, nor did he need to go to the reception room to meet guests. He went directly to his main office, sat down on the sofa carelessly, asked the secretary for a glass of ice water, and said, "Carton factory."

Zhou Buqi asked: "Did you sell the carton factory?"

Meng Houkun said: "It was sold to another carton factory. From now on, Yuanwei Group will not produce cartons by itself, but will purchase them from him. Professional people do professional things, which reduces costs. The management chain of Yuanwei Group can also be shortened. I found that the longer the management chain, the more costs and the lower the efficiency. I have recently been studying the A-model management system, which is great!"

This is really a good deal.

Selling the carton factory not only reduces the burden and shortens the management chain, but also makes money. At the same time, handing over the carton business to a more professional carton factory can also greatly reduce the cost of carton.

This is also the mainstream trend in the global manufacturing industry.

That is, brands need to gradually divest themselves from industrial lines and hand over some non-core industrial lines to more professional OEM factories. When brands need them, they only need to purchase them, rather than producing all the links themselves.

This greatly improves production efficiency and greatly reduces management costs.

The so-called A mode corresponds to the J mode.

A stands for America, and the A model is the American model; J stands for Japan, and the J model is the Japanese model.

For a long time, the best companies in the world were either American companies or Japanese companies, so business management masters and theorists from all over the world analyzed and studied the companies of these two countries and summarized two different business models: Model A and Model J.

In fact, there is a simple distinction to determine whether a company is using model A or model J.

If the company advocates "consultation", it is the A model; if the company advocates "planning", it is the J model.

In the manufacturing industry, the A model advocates the separation of production lines and focuses on branding. For example, the most typical examples are Dell and Apple, which do not have any factories under their names. The J model covers the entire upstream and downstream, doing everything from start to finish.

Both modes have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Domestic companies are all latecomers, so there are two distinct factions.

It is either A mode, like Xiaomi and Lenovo; or J mode, like Huawei and Gree.

However, from a broader perspective, the main foreign capital that entered China in the early days after the reform and opening up was Japanese capital. The business philosophy of the older generation of people who controlled the discourse power was deeply influenced by Japanese companies. Learning the J model means advocating that a great company should do everything from upstream to downstream.

If there is any link that you don't do and you follow the American way, they will think you are an empty shell, a comprador, and you lack core competitiveness.

The J model can be studied for a long time. Some industries have already encountered serious problems.

For example, the steel industry.

The domestic steel industry was so backward that the total domestic steel output in a year was less than the output of a Japanese steel company in a few months. The gap was so big that we learned from the pain and learned from Japanese steel mills. In the late 70s, we spent a lot of money to learn from them from top to bottom and from inside to outside. Japanese companies also owed China a debt, so they provided many core refining technologies without reservation and sent technicians to guide them, so that China had modern steel mills. But the sequelae have emerged in recent years.

Japan is an island country with no mineral resources. All of their iron ore is imported from Australia, so the refining technology they developed is targeted at Australian iron ore. Domestic steel mills copied and learned everything from Australia, and can only refine Australian iron ore.

You know, the domestic iron ore reserves are no worse than those in Australia, but the quality of the iron ore in the two countries is different, and the refining technology is also different... so that domestic steel mills simply do not know how to refine the country's iron ore, and domestic iron ore cannot be used. Even after decades, they still have to rely on imported Australian iron ore to make steel.

This is a major criticism of the J model.

Too rigid and inflexible, the industrial line is too long, and the ability to change is too weak.

Not only the steel industry, but all major companies in all industries in Japan are now facing this dilemma.

In comparison, the A model is much more flexible. It doesn't matter if you don't have the technology. You can just find a partner with technology to help you. Therefore, many good domestic private companies, even if they learned the J model, are now gradually improving and moving closer to the A model.

Everyone is innovating and researching a C model that is unique to China.

The Haier model, Midea model, Huawei model, Xiaomi model, Lenovo model, Pangdonglai model, Haidilao model, and various Internet models can be said to be in full bloom and all have strong market competitiveness.

Zhou Buqi snorted, "What A model, J model, those are all old-fashioned theories. When it comes to business innovation, China is now the world leader! You don't need to learn the A model. If you want to learn supply chain management, you can learn from Xiaomi, Huawei, Asda, Lenovo, Haier, Midea, and ZTE. Look at how they do it. It's much better than learning from foreigners. Those theories from more than ten or twenty years ago are already outdated."

"Uh……"

Meng Houkun has a rather strange expression.

Zhou Buqi looked at him strangely, "What's wrong?"

Meng Houkun said: "The most mature and competitive model in China is human resource outsourcing. This model can be said to have killed Model A and Model J in seconds."

"Depend on!"

Zhou Buqi wanted to curse.

  So I was waiting here!

Meng Houkun laughed and said, "Don't demonize outsourcing. After I sold the carton factory, I needed the carton factory's design to be connected with us in real time, so we also had outsourcing business. The carton factory sent 5 people to Yuanwei Group to do outsourcing services. They usually live in business hotels and wear suits. They are much more prestigious than the formal employees of Yuanwei Group! The formal employees are very envious of them!"

Zhou Buqi said angrily: "You are the biggest supporter of He Yang's human resources outsourcing in the company, right? It must be you! I guessed it a long time ago!"

Meng Houkun laughed and did not comment.

Zhou Buqi said: "Outsourcing is too bullying!"

Meng Houkun said: "I don't know why there is such a prejudice against outsourcing now. In the past few years, outsourcing was the better position, and only those who couldn't find a job went to work in the client's company. The best talents all went to outsourcing companies. Outsourced personnel are business people. When they travel around the country, they stay in business hotels, wear suits and ties, and do the most professional work. Even in many industries now, better talents all choose outsourcing companies."

Zhou Buqi was a little annoyed.

What the hell, He Yang is done, and you still come?

In order to carry out your human resources outsourcing plan, you take turns brainwashing this boss?

Meng Houkun went on to say, "For example, lawyers. The best lawyers don't go to big companies, but to law firms. Some law firms don't take cases on their own, but work with other companies to provide outsourced services. When a company needs help, it sends a few lawyers to help Party A resolve legal disputes in the form of human resource outsourcing. When the case is over, these people may be outsourced to another company. This kind of outsourced work is very stable. If one company has no cases, they can go to another company and never worry about not having cases. If you join a company as a formal employee, you may not get any cases for several months, and you will only earn a pitiful salary, and your life will be wasted."

Zhou Buqi snorted, "What are you talking about? If Ziweixing offered an olive branch, which lawyer would refuse Ziweixing and join a law firm?"

"That's different. Who says the Internet is full of controversy? There are endless lawsuits every day. There is no shortage of work in Internet companies as legal affairs officers." Meng Houkun laughed, then said seriously, "In fact, most of our company's legal disputes are handled by outsourced lawyers. After all, different professions have their specialties. Some law firms are good at copyright lawsuits, some are good at economic disputes, some are good at dealing with state-owned enterprises, and some are proficient in international law affairs... It is impossible for our legal department to be comprehensive and detailed in every different field. Outsourced law firms are better."

"Ah."

"Those lawyers who come from outside are also outsourced employees. They also have different ID cards and permissions, and are treated differently. So the question is, do you think they are discriminated against? If there is any discrimination, it is others who discriminate against us!"

"You are better at fooling people than He Yang."

Zhou Buqi couldn't help but laugh.

Meng Houkun rolled his eyes and said, "Who is fooling me? I am telling the truth. When the outsourced lawyers came here, they were pointing fingers and looking down on our legal department staff."
