Chapter 627
Merit, this is something that people in Buddhism practice all their lives.

It's just that, after a lifetime, there are very few monks who can really embody meritorious deeds before becoming immortals.

Because merit and yin are different.

The so-called merit is actually cultivating goodness.

Do one thing right, and that is a win.

Doing ten right things is a success.

Gong refers to things that benefit others.

Do a hundred right things to get one good thing.

Good, refers to a good person.

Only by doing a thousand right things can one cultivate one virtue.

A virtuous person is more noble than a good person.

Worshiping Buddha means worshiping the virtues of Buddha.

Cultivating a Buddha means cultivating the same virtues as a Buddha.

And only by doing [-] right things can you get one.

The Tao here refers to the sage.

The name of merit is actually a general term.

A person with meritorious deeds actually refers to a holy person.

Still, it might be easy to do [-] things right.

But the difficulty is that it is on the way of cultivating holiness.

Do something wrong, even if it's just taking someone else's embroidery needle.

Even if a trace of greed or evil thoughts flashed in my heart.

That is also a loss.

Doing ten wrong things is one pass.

Doing a hundred wrong things is one evil.

To do a thousand wrong things is one sin.

Doing ten thousand wrong things is one sentence.

And want to become a holy monk with meritorious deeds.

In addition to doing the "right" thing all your life, you must always remember not to do the "wrong" thing.

Once you do one wrong thing, you need to make up for it with a hundred right things.

And once you do something wrong, the previous practice is almost completely abolished.

Not only do more right things need to be done to make up for it.

You have to start over from scratch.

People in Buddhism spend their whole lives observing precepts and self-cultivation.

In order to obtain merits and virtues as soon as possible, and to be reborn in bliss.

It's hard to control such things as people's emotions and thoughts.

Just like the kind presiding officer, because of the appearance of meritorious deeds, he broke the false precepts invisibly.

One needs to do a hundred right things to make up for a broken precept.

And all the previous repairs have to start from scratch.

On such a strict path of self-cultivation.

I want to truly achieve the ultimate meritorious body.

How difficult it is.

Not the kind of holy monk with great perseverance and great wisdom.

It is absolutely impossible to cultivate merit.

It is even more impossible to maintain such merits until the final sitting, leaving the merits and relics.

At least Ye Kong didn't think that he would be able to achieve the level of meritorious deeds in his life.

And every person in the Buddhist sect enshrines the merit relics as if they were real Buddhas.

This is the reason why Host Ci'en was so shocked when he saw the meritorious relic in Ye Kong's hand.

"Master Ci'en, since this meritorious relic belongs to the Buddhist sect, this junior should let it return to its original owner!"

Ye Kong respectfully put the merit relic in his hand into the hands of the abbot.

To be honest, although Ye Kong didn't know who the original owner of this meritorious relic was.

But its owner was able to keep it.

Ye Kong is still full of absolute respect for its master.

Such a benevolent holy monk is rare in a thousand years.

There is no other holy monk who can be so strict with himself.

Ye Kong really didn't dare to keep this meritorious relic on his body anymore.

Because that is the blasphemy of meritorious deeds.

Although Ye Kong is not a bad person, Ye Kong's hands are covered with blood after all.

If the meritorious relic is left in the hands of a butcher, what is it but a blasphemy against it?
However, looking at the meritorious relics that have already arrived in his hands.

The hands of the presiding officer Ci'en who was still kneeling on the ground were shaking.

After a long time, some excitement calmed down in front of him.

He solemnly recited a Buddha's name, and said to Ye Kong:
"Amitabha, Master Ye Kong, do you know how precious this merit relic is, do you really want to give it to the old monk?"

This is a meritorious relic!

Even if Ye Kong is not a Buddhist.

If you keep it with you all the time, it will have endless benefits to Ye Kong.

Ye Kong is a practitioner.

What a cultivator desires most is encounter.

And practitioners will inevitably encounter bottlenecks or inner demons.

With this meritorious relic in his body, Ye Kong's luck can be increased invisibly.

This enables Ye Kong to better obtain blessings.

In layman's terms, the meritorious relics can make Ye Kong's luck better and better.

Maybe a stone you pick up casually on the side of the road is a precious jade.

What's more, with meritorious deeds and relics in his body, Ye Kong's cultivation will be smooth sailing.

Bottlenecks are generally rare.

Moreover, it is impossible for Ye Kong to encounter a heart demon.

Because what the demons fear most is merit.

With merits and virtues in the body, the demons of the heart can't be avoided, so how dare to cause trouble?
Just San Yekong didn't take the merit relics with him.

You can also put it at home as a town treasure, and the benefits are endless.

Merit relics at home can increase the luck of the family.

It can make the family have a long history and make the population prosperous.

Therefore, if ordinary people get such a precious thing, it will be too late for Tibetans.

Where will you give in?

If the news that the meritorious relics are in Lanruo Temple spreads.

I'm afraid that Lanruo Temple will be razed to the ground in an instant.

Could it be that Ye Kong doesn't know the preciousness of this merit relic?
Host Ci'en couldn't help thinking this way.

"Master Ci'en, to be more arrogant, I may know more about merit than you. But..."

Ye Kong paused, and said seriously:
"After all, it is a Buddhist sacred object. How can I, Ye Kong, dare to desecrate such a sacred object? If you don't accept this object, it will be a great sin!"

Ye Kong's words were truly from the bottom of his heart, not hypocrisy.

In fact, the presiding over by kindness is now just a cultivation base of the realm of cultivation.

He is not worthy of Ye Kong's hypocrisy for him.

Ye Kong really felt that he was not qualified to own such a sacred object.

Secondly, Ye Kong is the supervisor of the world.

With this identity, Ye Kong himself has added luck, and his luck will be better than ordinary people.

Whether there is a meritorious relic or not is almost the same to Ye Kong.

Also, the status of Ye Kong's Superintendent of the Underworld is ordered by the sky.

Does the heart demon dare to approach Ye Kong?

I'm afraid that where Ye Kong is, the demons will stay away!

In the end, Ye Kong was born with five disadvantages and three disadvantages.

One has no rights, and the other has no posterity.

Merit relics can make ordinary people add to their fortunes.

But it can't change Ye Kong's fate.

Therefore, this Buddhist relic is a great treasure for ordinary people.

But for Ye Kong, at most, it can only make Ye Kong not easily encounter bottlenecks on the road of cultivation.

As for the bottleneck, even if there is no merit relic, it may not appear on Ye Kong's body.

And even if it does happen.

For Ye Kong, that was also a kind of experience, a kind of temper.

The more bottlenecks appear, if you can break through the bottlenecks in the end, it will be better than breaking through smoothly.

Because staying in one realm for a long time.

The more experiences you have, the more insights you will have.

If there is a breakthrough in the future, the benefits will naturally be even greater.

Therefore, most people are afraid of the bottleneck, but Ye Kong feels that its advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Therefore, whatever Ye Kong said about this meritorious relic today, he would give it to the presiding officer of Mercy.

This can be regarded as repaying the kindness of the presiding officer of Ci'en who saved Ye Kong's mother.

Although Ye Kong has saved more than a hundred people in Lanruo Temple.

This favor is repaid.

But the kindness of a drop of water should be repaid by a spring.

Hatred can be repaid, but favors cannot be repaid.

"Benefactor Ye Kong really understands the righteousness. I was always worried that Benefactor Ye Kong would not be able to control my heart. Now it seems that I am supercilious."

Hosting the meritorious relics, Ci'en stood up, bowed to Ye Kong and said:

"On behalf of Lanruo Temple, I also represent the entire Buddhist world to thank Lord Ye Kong for letting the merit relics return to my Buddha, so good!"

Ye Kong hurriedly helped the host Ci'en up, and then flipped his hands again.

Ye Kong had a small jade bottle in his hand.

"Master Ci'en, this is a marrow washing pill, and I will give it to you from the junior. I hope you can break through the fairyland as soon as possible."
