Chapter 562: "Not getting what you want" has always been the fate of people in Buddhism; "□□Private Interview in Incognito"

It can be said that Wu Jing's soul clone has left his footprints in the entire three realms, and the underworld and the underworld are just one of the stops.

However, compared with the Buddhist methods of salvation and the consciousness-only method of salvation, except for those fairies on the journey to the west, it is indeed a brand-new experience that living beings in the three worlds have never had before.

And Wu Jing is obviously carrying forward the consciousness-only teaching.

But from this point of view, Bajie, who has completely "herded sheep", is far behind.

Wu Jing, who "stained no blood" on the westward journey, has now almost become the life-seeking demon monk of the demons in the three realms. When everyone heard about the traces of Zen Master Wu Jing, they were afraid to avoid it.

On the contrary, Xiao Bailong was obviously the vanguard on the westward journey. His name as White Dragon Bodhisattva will never be washed away in this life. Moreover, even some monsters who usually do evil will have the compassion of White Dragon Bodhisattva. If I fall into his hands, I will definitely be spared the illusion.

But they had no chance of regret.

For Xiao Bailong, or Tang Seng and his disciples, there are only two kinds of demons, those that can be transcended and those that cannot be transcended.

And this standard all depends on the evil karma of the demon itself.

Among the three realms, the portraits of the White Dragon Bodhisattva become more benign, and often appear in the image of a charming and charming young man. The portraits and sculptures of Zen Master Wujing have become, for some unknown reason, the body of a demon-suppressing Vajra, capable of subduing demons. The fierce face of King Ming.

As for Bajie, he deliberately changed his body shape and appearance when he traveled through the three realms because he believed that his iconic long nose and big ears would make it difficult for people to recognize his identity. Once his identity was exposed, If it leaks, it will cause a lot of unnecessary troubles and he just wants to taste the delicacies of the Three Realms.

In short, there is currently no news about Bajie in the Three Realms, as if he is completely hidden from the world.

The movements of their masters and disciples, and all the forces in the three realms, should pay more or less attention to them.

Moreover, when the Consciousness-Only Dharma Sect was first established, although it did not recruit disciples as eagerly as the Western Sect in those days, there were also many eminent monks who were originally from Lingshan and directly transferred to Daci'en Temple in Chang'an.

Master Jingjian was just one of the bhiksunis recognized by Master Tripitaka. Didn't you see that the Arhats who were turned away looked sad and lost that day?

However, Master Tripitaka did not completely cut off their thoughts, but asked them to return to Lingshan to practice Buddhism intensively and come back ten years later. If Buddhism has improved, they will have the opportunity to worship at Daci'en Temple.

Moreover, it was officially announced that Daci'en Temple will recruit disciples into the temple once every ten years.

Not only those monks in Lingshan, but all living beings in the three realms who want to worship at Daci'en Temple can come at this time.

As for other times, if you can be favored by the monks who have joined the temple and get the approval of Master Tripitaka, you will naturally be considered a special recruit.

Some Arhats asked Master Tripitaka if they could just stay in the temple and practice?

Master Tripitaka did not refuse, and said that anyone who yearns for Buddhism can enter the Daci'en Temple to practice Buddhism.

After all, Daci'en Temple has no threshold, and the Consciousness-only Dharma does not prevent people who believe in Buddhism from entering the temple to practice. However, you have to find a way to pay for food and accommodation.

After all, their Da Ci'en Temple didn't have much money. This place was built by the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty.

Of course, this was originally the temple built by the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty for his younger brother.

Arhats from Lingshan do not have any requirements for food and accommodation. They all have good cultivation. Even if they don't eat or drink, there is no problem at all. It will be even simpler if they live in the suburbs of Chang'an. They built a thatched cottage in the mountains and fields; some simply slept in the city of Chang'an; as for those who were more lively, they would go to some wealthy families to stay.
After all, he was an "arhat" from Lingshan. Although he was not worth mentioning in front of Master Tripitaka, to the common people, he was considered a godly figure.

However, they did not dare to show off and were very humble in front of the people. They were afraid that Master Tripitaka would find out about their differences in attitude and lose the opportunity to worship at Daci'en Temple.

Some people say that they are like students who go to Beijing to take the exam. The difference is that the students want to take the imperial examination and become officials in the court, while they want to study Buddhism intensively and want to become the disciple of the Holy Buddha.

After this matter was reported back to Lingshan, it also caused some considerable disturbances.

Some "stubborn old monks" even went to the Tathagata to complain, saying that they had lost their decency. They were obviously from Lingshan and were the orthodox Buddhists. Why were the monks from Lingshan now going to worship Tripitaka Buddha in Chang'an?
The Tathagata's response was also very simple: "There is no distinction between consciousness-only teaching and Lingshan Mahayana, let alone subordinate. If the monks in Lingshan want to worship the consciousness-only teaching, I will not stop them."

After hearing what the Buddha said, the old monks looked at each other in shock. Even the Buddha said this, what can they do?
Even from the Buddha's tone, he seemed to wish that all the monks in Lingshan would worship the Consciousness-Only Dharma.

When the Great Sun Tathagata, who was rebuilding Tantric Buddhism, learned about this, he also smiled helplessly: "It seems that the Buddha is still worried about Tripitaka's refusal to take over Lingshan."

The Peacock Daming King Bodhisattva on the side also rarely smiled and said: "It's the same. Sending all the monks from Lingshan to Chang'an is no different from Sanzang becoming the Buddha in Lingshan."

Since then, the atmosphere in Lingshan has become more and more unusual. Some monks sincerely yearn for the consciousness-only teaching, while others are conquered by Master Tripitaka's Dharma and charm and want to follow Master Tripitaka.

But there are also speculators among them. Regarding such manifestations, the Buddha not only did not stop them, but actually added fuel to the flames.

In this regard, Guanyin Bodhisattva is still somewhat worried. 300 years later, if Wutian Demon Ancestor comes to Lingshan and sees the huge Lingshan, but only two or three big cats are left. The Tathagata Buddha sitting on the Buddha's golden lotus in the main hall will still be there. In front of him, when he is reincarnated into the human world, his already possessed state of mind will completely collapse.

Today is different from the past. The cracks between the Demon Realm and the Three Realms have been blocked. The Great Sage of the Demon Realm, who could still appear in the Three Realms from time to time, is now unable to deal with Patriarch Qui-Gon. How can he still know the Three Realms? Condition?
300 years?
By the time they come out of the Demon Realm, I'm afraid the Three Realms will have already become something they don't recognize.

Lingshan.

"Where are you going?" Fuhu Arhat looked at the Dragon Subduing Arhat who was carrying his luggage, "Are you also going to Chang'an?"

"Chang'an?" Subdued Dragon Arhat smiled and said, "Go too."

"Go too?" "Master Tripitaka is right. What kind of Buddhist teachings can be understood by just sitting on Lingshan Mountain? A poor monk wants to travel to the three realms. Da Ci'en Temple in Chang'an is where Master Tripitaka's monastery is located, so naturally he has to visit."

The Subduing Dragon Arhat is the one with the highest understanding among the eighteen Arhats. Although he is only an Arhat, his Buddhist realm is by no means inferior to that of Bodhisattvas, and even some Buddhas are inferior to him.

In addition to Buddhism, since he bears the title of "Subduing the Dragon", he is naturally also a warrior monk with profound magical power.

Regarding the consciousness-only teaching, he upholds an attitude of respecting learning, and is not nearly obsessed with Master Tripitaka like those "crazy believers" in Lingshan.Even the Buddhism of Lingshan itself, in the view of Subduing the Dragon Arhat, should be studied critically.

Whether it is Mahayana, Hinayana, Tantra or Consciousness-only, it is the path of others and your own path, you have to walk it yourself.

Arhat Subduing the Dragon has always had his own unique insights into Buddhism.

He even felt that those monks who studied Buddhism in order to enter the Daci'en Temple might not get what they wanted in the end. After all, "not getting what you want" has always been the fate of people in Buddhism.

Perhaps this is also the reason why Buddha failed to keep Master Tripitaka.

Fahai had already learned from Wei Zheng and the emperor's brother Li Shimin the attitude of the underworld regarding the emperor's brother's "death disaster".In fact, allowing Wei Zheng to come to find the emperor's brother showed the underworld's position to a certain extent.

"Erlang God Yang Jian is visiting Ziwei Palace at the moment." Fahai also informed Li Shimin that this was the news that the six-eared macaque told him, "also to discuss this matter."

"I am so virtuous and capable." Li Shimin simply sat on the ground and shook his head at his imperial brother opposite Xu Mu, but then his expression returned to firmness, "But I don't know what Zhenjun Erlang's attitude is towards this matter. .”

Judicial God.

To a certain extent, he can use the power of heaven in his hands to directly impose divine punishment.

That is to say, the fact that the emperor cannot live forever is not an express rule of heaven, but an unspoken rule. Otherwise, even Master Tripitaka would be difficult to provide any effective help to the emperor's brother Li Shimin on this matter.

This kind of unwritten rule still has a lot of room for maneuver compared to their explicit rules.

The method of changing the country's name in advance should not have any effect. After all, the book of life and death is the human book among the three books of heaven, earth and man. They are all magic weapons of the same level, and naturally have certain self-regulating functions.

Otherwise, the Zhenguan Era in the book of life and death was only 13 years, and Cui Fan added 33 years to 20 years with two strokes. Wouldn't people die?

Or, after these 20 years, can the subsequent eras be continued from the "original" 13th year of Zhenguan?
In this case, wouldn't the book of life and death be in chaos?

Moreover, what was changed that year was actually only the supplementary book of the Book of Life and Death, and the main book of magic weapons, which was controlled by Emperor Fengdu. Otherwise, how could Cui Jue, a great judge, just give mortals 20 years of life? And afterwards, he can still be on duty in the underworld like a normal person?
It was an unwritten rule that Li Shimin, the emperor on earth, could not live forever, but if he added Yangshou to the book of life and death without permission, that would be a real violation of heaven's rules.

If Emperor Fengdu hadn't endorsed him, Cui Jue, the great judge, would have been doomed.

Yang Jian naturally knows these things. Although he is the god of justice and the guardian of heaven on the surface, he must treat Cui Jue's behavior in a different way.

This can be regarded as a recent backlog of cases. Meishan Lao Liu made a special trip to the Yin Division to ask Emperor Fengdu whether there was any hidden secret in it. It was Emperor Fengdu who said that he knew about this matter and acquiesced. , the True King Temple did not get involved in the matter, but settled the case as a matter of course.

He was the one who promoted Cui Jue, and this longevity was also bestowed upon "him". Emperor Fengdu believed that it was natural for him to take on this matter.

In fact, it was because Li Shimin himself was unwilling to accept the protection of his younger brother Sanzang Buddha that he left Chang'an. His original intention was to survive this "death disaster" with his own strength, so as to maintain his emperor's heart. Not to be wasted.

But with what he saw along the way, Li Shimin realized more and more that compared to expanding the territory and conquering the three realms, these ten thousand people were the real cornerstone of the Tang Dynasty.

If the foundation is not stable, no matter how large the territory is, it will be a castle in the air, a dream that will be shattered at a touch.

When he informed his younger brother about these things, he heard his younger brother say the same thing: "This is the reason why the poor monk does not want to be the lofty Buddha and would rather walk in the three realms."

Then, Master Tripitaka continued: "But now the poor monk still realizes the Tathagata. It is really unpredictable. But this is not a bad thing."

Li Shimin had a tacit understanding with Master Tripitaka and said with a smile: "A Tripitaka Buddha is sitting on the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but there are thousands of disciples of consciousness only. Isn't this a greater merit?"

Fa Hai also smiled and said: "If this were not the case, even if it is the will of heaven, this holy Tathagata, I will never obey it."

"So, Brother Emperor, when you have seen enough among the people, when you return to Chang'an, maybe it will be the time for China to truly change."

"But I may not be able to return to Chang'an."

This was what Li Shimin was thinking. He left Chang'an that day, in fact, largely because he was holding his breath. If he were asked to choose now, he might not be able to make the same choice without hesitation.

In fact, this is still a matter of vision, and caring leads to chaos. Even Li Shimin has a hard time adjusting his state of mind.

Because of the murder of the Emperor of Tianzhu, Fahai told Li Shimin that he should stay in Chang'an as much as possible and not run around. But now that he can let his brother Li Shimin leave Chang'an, it is because his brother Li Shimin has made up his mind and it is inconvenient for him. Secondly, the emperor's brother is approaching his life, and he has indeed reached the "death calamity"; thirdly, the person who followed the emperor out of Chang'an is Li Chunfeng, the current spokesman of the human religion and a disciple of Taishang Laojun; finally, with With his current level of cultivation, as long as the imperial brother does not run out of the Tang Dynasty, he can arrive in time as soon as possible.

Moreover, there was also a clone of Wu Jing who happened to meet Li Shimin incognito for a private visit. It happened that this clone was responsible for compiling short stories on the journey to the west, so he followed him secretly to record Li Shimin's experience.

He had already thought of a name, so he called it "Private Interview in Private Service". The reason for the two blank spaces was that he was waiting for His Majesty to fill in his posthumous title or temple number after his death.
