Homecoming from Hogwarts

Chapter 1042 Arrival at Azkaban

After a series of slight gas explosions, many more figures appeared in the black circular room. All the Death Eaters who had just gathered at Malfoy Manor appeared here.

Like Malfoy, they had all donned black cloaks and buried their faces in their hoods.

After the Death Eaters landed, they immediately looked out in all directions. Only after they were sure that the surroundings were safe did they stop making a commotion.

Malfoy was the commander of this operation. After counting the number of people, he looked at Bode, and the latter did not delay and walked directly into the light gate in front of him.

At this point, there is nothing to panic or be afraid of.

Malfoy waved to the silent Death Eaters and followed them in.

The moment he stepped through the door, Lucius was shocked to find that he seemed to have entered a world of only light.

He stood still, but the linear lights were flowing backwards at an extremely high speed, making him seem to be rushing forward at an unimaginable speed.

Before he had time to panic, the light in front of him suddenly disappeared. Lucius staggered forward two steps before he stood firm. When he raised his eyes, Bode appeared in his sight again.

The people behind followed one after another, and while waiting, Lucius looked around the room he was in.

This is a rectangular secret room. Like the corridor outside, it is constructed with rough rocks. Several golden chandeliers hanging from the ceiling make the room much brighter than outside.

The room was empty, and the most eye-catching thing was a stone badge placed on a brass tray on a stone platform in the middle of the room.

"The Hogwarts school emblem is really weird!"

Just like Lucius' reaction when he saw that thing, some of the Death Eaters who came in later exclaimed in amazement.

"Why is there such a thing here?"

"If I remember correctly, Box, you seem to have been in Azkaban."

"You are certainly not mistaken, Nott."

Box looked at the hunched old Nott and said coldly,

"But in order to keep it secret, the Ministry of Magic made all the wizards detained in Azkaban blindfolded and went there. I didn't see anything!"

As if realizing that he had offended his colleagues, Old Nott nodded in apology.
"I mean no offense, Box, it's just--"

"I think you should know that now is not the time for small talk."

Lucius glared at Box and Nott sternly, then looked at Bode who was standing beside the brass tray.

"Is this the Portkey to Azkaban?"

Bode nodded.

"Yes, but every time before using it, you need to get approval from the Minister of Magic. Otherwise, it won't work."

The atmosphere became tense at a visible speed. In the not particularly spacious stone room, the Death Eaters moved slowly, surrounding the brass tray and the Hogwarts badge inside. The person behind put his hand on the shoulder of the person in front, and the person in front stretched out his hand, with his fingertips a few inches away from the badge, and their eyes fell on Bode's face.

"Count down to three, then touch the portkey together."

Bode said in a calm tone.

After a pause of a few seconds, seeing that no one raised any doubts, Bode raised three fingers.
"Three two. One!"

Wow!

In an instant, everything changed.

Lucius found that the world in front of him suddenly became blurred. All the people and objects in his vision had double images. A strong feeling of dizziness and vomiting tortured his nerves.

After dozens of seconds, the Death Eaters who were stumbling all over the ground finally looked better.

"I finally understand why they blindfolded me when they brought me here. Ugh!"

The Death Eater named Box was still retching while leaning against the wall, but Lucius screamed miserably after seeing what was happening before his eyes. He jumped up and pressed his wand against Bode's temple.

"What's going on? Why are we still here?"

Many Death Eaters also discovered it. They are still in the small room in the Department of Mysteries, and the brass tray and stone school badge in front of them are still in their original positions!

One after another, the Death Eaters drew their wands. Box shouted angrily at Old Nott.

"There's something wrong with your Imperius Curse!"

"This is impossible!"

Nott cried out in grievance.
"He's still under the control of the Imperius Curse. I can feel it!" Nott's confident tone made Lucius look suspicious.

"What's going on?"

Lucius questioned Bode.

"This is a two-way door key. Both sides have the same spatial coordinates for positioning--"

Bode, who was pointed at by many wands, said calmly,
"We have arrived in Azkaban."

Then, ignoring the wand threat, he squeezed between Crabbe and Goyle to the position they had appeared when they entered the room.

Bode extended a finger and traced an inexplicable pattern on the rough wall, just as the goblins at Gringotts did when they opened the vault door.

Where his fingertips passed, white light lit up on the wall, and then the light turned into cracks and shrank in all directions. In the blink of an eye, a doorway appeared in front of all the Death Eaters.

Huh. Huh.
The air that rushed into the room was mixed with a strong smell of the sea. The biting cold that was swept into the room made the Death Eaters' faces turn blue, and they all began to shiver at the same time.

"That's right."

Box said tremblingly,
"That's how it feels. It's Azkaban outside."

Azkaban is a powerful weapon in the hands of the British Ministry of Magic. Except for one or two exceptions, everyone will tremble with fear when hearing about this place!
"follow me--"

Bode turned back to the Death Eaters and walked directly into the darkness outside the doorway.

"and many more!"

Lucius's expression suddenly changed.
"Those Dementors, you."

Seeing Bode disappear, the terrified Death Eaters hurriedly chased after him.

Outside the room was a flight of wet stone stairs that led upwards, and it was obvious that they were now underground.

The stone stairs were not long, and the Death Eaters who lit their wands and ran up reached the ground in just over ten seconds.
There are no stars in Azkaban.

What the Death Eaters felt with their senses was the cold and the sound of violent waves hitting the shore not far away.

Click, click, click--
The sounds of many teeth chattering came together to form a funny sound.

The boundless darkness before their eyes and the deep fear that surged uncontrollably from the bottom of their hearts made more and more Death Eaters make their wands shine.

Many white lights gathered together, and finally, they saw a gray-black building right in front of them. It was very tall, even more majestic than the tallest tower in Hogwarts.

The walls of the tower, from top to bottom, are inlaid with many small windows, which, judging by their size, would be more appropriately described as holes.

The fluorescent light illuminated the ground, and some people were horrified to find that from here to the tower, the rugged ground was littered with bones. Most of them were cattle and sheep. From the open jaws of these livestock, it can be seen that their death process was obviously not pleasant.

Of course, the most terrifying thing is definitely not these bones, but the Dementors.

Lucius's gaze penetrated the dark space and fell on the surroundings of the tower, the monster in a black cloak floating in the air.
The moment he saw them clearly, Lucius suddenly felt as if a cold hand penetrated his chest, grasped his stomach and kneaded it wantonly. The chill rising from his soul almost froze his thoughts.

The moment they saw the Dementors, the Dementors also discovered these uninvited guests.

As the black cloud formed by hundreds of Dementors gathered together and pressed down, the Death Eaters seemed to see the sky falling.

"I can't stand it anymore, I want to leave here!"

Box was completely destroyed in the room of his heart by fear. He screamed and stepped back, but he forgot that there was a staircase behind him and fell down directly. After a clanging sound, the sound completely disappeared.

"Who can save me? I want"

Some people in the Death Eater team began to sob and waved their wands in panic.

"Expect God's Guardian."

Nothing happened, not even a wisp of silver mist appeared.

"Avada Kedavra"

cried old Crabbe in a wet voice, but only a few green sparks came out of the tip of his staff.

In the space where a large group of Dementors flew past, water vapor condensed into tiny ice particles, which dyed the space white. They quickly approached the Death Eaters, and Lucius even saw in despair a pair of gray-white hands covered with mucus and spots poking out from under the black cloaks, glowing eerily!
"Where is that thing!"

Nott finally couldn't bear it anymore, he shouted at Bode,
"Bring out the thing the Dark Lord said could stop Dementors!"
