Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1212: Physical Education Class of Chapter Return Theory
A Death Eater, without even using any dark magic, could cause the deaths of hundreds of Muggles and hundreds of millions of pounds of property damage to Muggle society with just a few ordinary Cutting Curses.
And the entire crime process may not take more than two minutes.
It is simply a fantasy to want to completely eliminate it.
"Monitoring mirror——"
At the faculty table, under the curious gaze of the professors, Amosta spoke calmly.
"what--"
Professor Flitwick exclaimed with delight.
"What a great idea!"
The professors are all familiar with this invention which was entirely created by Amosstar. In the Triwizard Tournament last school year, Hogwarts used it to fully display the heroic performances of the warriors in the competition in front of the audience.
Dumbledore's blue eyes lit up for a second, but he regained his composure immediately.
"I think, since you didn't propose this plan to the Ministry, it must have some shortcomings that cannot be ignored, Amosta?"
"It's a question of cost-effectiveness, Headmaster Dumbledore--"
Amosta cut a greasy sausage on the plate and said calmly,
"You all know that surveillance mirrors are useless if they are used in small quantities. If you want to fully cover a city like London, you might need hundreds of thousands of them. Even if you only consider the cost, it would cost millions of gold galleons."
Millions of Galleons!
Neither the Ministry of Magic nor the goblins invested that much in the new magic city.
It is really not worthwhile to spend so much gold just to defend London.
There are more than just London in the UK, including Birmingham in the central part of the country, Manchester and Liverpool in the northwest, and Edinburgh in Scotland.
Add to that the scattered villages and towns in the vast wilderness.
There are so many places where Death Eaters can commit evil and have fun that even if the Ministry of Magic goes bankrupt, it won't be able to take care of them all.
"In fact, the Muggles themselves have technology similar to surveillance cameras—"
Amosta thought and said,
"If the Muggle government were to roll it out on a large scale, I think it would encounter great resistance. After all, not many people would like their words and deeds to be exposed to the government."
"Even if the Muggle government is willing to cooperate with the Ministry, this is not something that can be perfected overnight, Amosta--"
Dumbledore said, and Amosta nodded slightly.
Amosta was still thinking about this question until he returned to the office.
We cannot ignore the lives of Muggles, but focusing all our energy on preventing them from getting hurt seems a bit of a waste of time in the eyes of these wizards who hold real power.
It is not realistic to deploy surveillance cameras on a large scale, but we can produce a small number of them and spread them around important places, such as the residences and workplaces of the Muggle Prime Minister and ministers, and key infrastructure for people's livelihood.
This is also good for preventing Death Eaters from infiltrating the Ministry of Magic. Some monitoring points can also be set up around Hogwarts and even in Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest.
Amosita hurriedly wrote a letter, in which he included his warnings and suggestions regarding the tragedy in the Muggle world. After calling an owl to send it out, Amosita walked out of the office in hurried steps.
Ten minutes later, Amosta appeared at the door of the physical education classroom, and all the students were already there.
NEWTS courses for physical education.
There are not many students in the classroom, but all the students who have passed the basic training and have been promoted to the sixth grade are here.
"Good morning, everyone--"
Amosta snapped his fingers casually, and the tables, chairs, benches and the podium piled up in the corner floated up and were neatly spread out in the classroom.
"Queer--"
Fred whistled at this understated yet handsome scene.
There were the Weasley twin brothers, several senior girls from the Gryffindor team, Cedric from Hufflepuff and Cho Chang from Ravenclaw, as well as two senior Slytherins. There were less than ten students in Amosita's first NEWTS class.
"Thanks--"
Amosta placed a magic book on the podium and said with a chuckle,
"So, how's your first week of school going, everyone?"
The responses were mixed, with some expressing their feelings about returning to school these past few days, but all were in high spirits.
"I heard--"
Fred held up one hand.
"That meditation class, Professor Lahansen said it was you who advocated for such a course to be offered at Hogwarts?"
"Ah, indeed."
Amosta smiled and nodded.
"What do you think of Professor Lahansen's meditation class? Is it helpful to you?" "Oh, I don't know, Professor Brian, we only had it once--"
Fred said,
"But if Professor Lahansen keeps training us to be in a daze."
There was a chuckle in the classroom.
"Ah, that's right. It's not easy to get started, but I'm sure that Professor Lahansen can help you go a step further."
Amosta smiled.
"So, what about you, Professor Braine?"
Arya held her chin and asked with interest,
“Can you figure out meditation?”
"Oh, I can't but I don't need to learn that--"
Amosta said.
"why?"
"There are many roads that lead to the same destination, Arya. I have my own road. Well, enough small talk, let's get started now."
The curtains were drawn down with a rustling sound, and the burning torches one after another added a sense of mystery to the spacious physical education classroom.
So far, they have gone through many rigorous training sessions in the physical education classes or more formally known as duel training sessions, each of which was very difficult, but also very fun!
Everyone stared at Professor Brian with great interest, secretly wondering what kind of difficult training would begin in the NEWTS course.
However, Professor Brian's subsequent actions disappointed everyone.
Professor Brian on the podium waved his wand, and a pile of thick magic books appeared in the air, and the books were automatically distributed to every student.
On the black hardcover book cover is a flowing silver-green font: "Analysis of Common Spell Patterns".
The author's name engraved in the lower middle of the book cover made the Weasley brothers, who always felt sleepy when they saw the book, grin in surprise.
"Is this your book?"
Cedric looked at Professor Blaine with admiration.
"Yes, that's right--"
Amosta spoke in a gentle voice.
"This is a magic book I compiled myself, but it is not available on the market."
He walked out from behind the podium and paced in front of the students.
"So far, you have all gone through rigorous training in this course. In my opinion, this training has enabled you to have a certain ability to protect yourself. I'm afraid that most adult wizards are no match for you--"
The students puffed out their chests, looking proud.
After all, this was fair praise from Amos Towers Blaine!
"But if you want to go further, it may be difficult--"
Amosta's words immediately chilled the students' hearts.
"If you want to break free from the shackles and improve your dueling skills, there are only two ways. The first is to stand on the front line against evil and temper yourself in blood and fire to perfect the skills you have already mastered—"
This is impossible. Although they are adults, they are just a group of students who have not graduated.
Hogwarts couldn't send them to the battlefield for training.
"And the other -"
Amosta, with his buttocks on the podium, patted the book at hand and smiled.
"It is to consolidate your foundation so that you can truly understand the magic that you have mastered."
"what do you mean--"
Ravenclaw's Qiu Zhangwei stared,
"We need to learn the spell again?"
"To some extent, it can be understood that way—"
Amosta folded his arms,
"But my requirements are higher than Professor Flitwick's. I will lead you to deeply analyze the structure of the spells you have learned and help you understand the significance of each part of the structure. After that, I require you to create your own magic based on this."
Looking at the students who were sweating profusely, Amosta smiled grimly.
"If you can't come up with innovations that satisfy me, I'm afraid I won't let you graduate from Hogwarts so easily--" (End of this chapter)
