Homecoming from Hogwarts
Chapter 1215 Arrival
hiss--
There were bursts of gasps in front of the castle gate, and the little wizards who had been hiding in the hallway came out again. They stared at the foal in a daze, unable to take their eyes off it.
This centaur named Polly is much shorter than Magorian next to it. It is almost as tall as Professor Dumbledore and is completely a pony.
Its fur is a silky platinum color, and in the evening light, its mane appears soft and slightly pink. Coupled with its two bright big eyes and long black eyelashes, it is so cute and beautiful, like a creature from a fairy tale!
The little witches at Hogwarts stared at My Little Pony with burning eyes, wishing they could rush up and hug this horse that was more beautiful than a unicorn.
Even Pansy Parkinson was staring at the foal in a daze, unable to speak.
However, there are also people who are not interested in Polly.
Take Draco for example.
Compared to this attractive-looking centaur, he was more interested in the children brought by Professor Lahansen. He could feel a special temperament in them.
"These people don't look like mixed-bloods—"
Nott looked at the children with suspicion.
"There won't be so many pure-blood descendants in the UK that we don't know about, so... they are all foreigners. Do you know them? Speaking of which, they are human beings, right?"
"I think so, they don't look like Veela either."
Draco whispered, looking at Professor Blaine.
"But I don't know him either. Perhaps Professor Brian invited him from another magic academy."
"Well, my mission is accomplished, and I am going back."
Magorian bowed his head to Amosta and Dumbledore, seemingly unwilling to stay in the wizard's territory for even a second.
"Take care of yourself, Paulie—"
Before leaving, Margaret spoke to Polly with a sense of guilt, as if Polly had been abandoned by the tribe.
"Don't worry, Polly—"
Hagrid seemed to know the foal. He said casually,
"I can take you back every weekend to see—"
"Thank you, Hagrid—"
The foal said shyly that it noticed that it attracted too much attention, which made it very scared, although it could feel that these eyes were not malicious.
"The students are just curious about you, Polly. After all, they've never seen a pony as pretty as you before."
Amosta smiled gently.
"Thank you, Professor Brain."
Polly pawed the ground nervously.
"I think the last of the guests have arrived—"
Professor Dumbledore said with a smile, looking towards the big iron gate.
Colin's guess was half right.
The goblins did come to Hogwarts in a carriage, but it was not as big as the ones used in Gringotts. It was just the kind of carriage that was usually pulled by the Thestrals that the school used.
The old goblin that came down first was one that Harry had seen before. It had appeared on the viewing platform during the first match of the Triwizard Tournament.
"Professor Dumbledore, Professor Blaine--"
Filch, who was leading the way, pulled several carriages in front of them. The old goblin Bana got off the carriage with difficulty with the help of a goblin and greeted them.
Dumbledore and Amosta both half-knelt down and hugged the old goblin respectively.
"I didn't expect you to lead the team yourself, Bana—"
Dumbledore said in a friendly tone.
"Oh, the goblins can see the importance of this exchange activity, Professor Dumbledore, we dare not neglect it."
Bana's wrinkles smoothed out and he said cheerfully.
"I thought the goblin changed his mind and didn't want to come—"
Amosta, who was more familiar with Bana, looked at the sun half hidden below the horizon and said jokingly,
"Is it because the International Trade Department's work is too complicated and has delayed us?"
"It was indeed delayed by some matters, but they were not matters related to the Ministry,"
Bana laughed.
"Mr. Lupin is a very good and competent official. He can handle everything. I just give some advice. Yes. I brought gifts for the students--"
"That doesn't have to be the case, Bana—"
Amosta shook his head slightly, his eyes revealing a hint of helplessness.
"It's not expensive--"
Bana said. The goblin who was supporting Bana snapped his fingers, and the curtain of another carriage was opened, revealing a mountain of gift boxes in the expanded space.
"It's just a quill—"
Amosta and Dumbledore looked at each other.
After a few pauses, Dumbledore nodded in gratitude.
"On behalf of all the students at Hogwarts, I thank you for your generosity, Barna—"
As he spoke, Dumbledore drew his wand and waved it at the carriage like a whip.
Nearly a thousand gift boxes flew out in an orderly manner and fell into the hands of the confused little wizard quickly and orderly.
It is indeed just a feather pen, but it has an automatic error correction function, and there are some exquisite gold-plated patterns on the pen barrel to make it anti-slip.
"Seventeen Galleons each!"
Hermione said to Harry immediately after opening the box,
"I saw it at Wenrenju. It was too expensive, so I couldn't bear to buy it!"
What a rich fairy! Nearly 20,000 Galleons are given as a meeting gift!
Not only Harry, many young wizards thought so.
But the effect of gifts is obvious.
The young wizards obviously felt that the ten goblins that looked exactly the same and came down from the carriage one after another were not so ugly anymore.
"I also brought some books—"
The slick old goblin naturally would not neglect the professors. He prepared a book for each faculty member, with "Double Moon Chronicle" engraved on the silver-plated and gilded cover.
"This was compiled by goblins, telling some of the history of goblins since the Middle Ages--"
Old Bana said.
"Ah, thank you. History is the most precious treasure. From it, we can get a glimpse of the great wisdom of a race. I think this book will help us understand you better--"
Dumbledore accepted.
Filch brought four carriages in total. One carried Bana and his servants, one carried gifts, one carried goblins who came to Hogwarts for communication, and the last carriage remained motionless.
"I think they're a little shy--"
Amosta said with a smile, he walked over personally, opened the car door and lifted the curtain.
The air in the empty and dim vehicle seemed a little chilly.
There were only two people sitting in the huge carriage, a boy and a girl, both children.
Looking at the two little guys, Amosta smiled.
"We have arrived at the station. My dear sir and madam, what are you still doing in the car?"
The little boy in the carriage was startled by Amosta's face sticking into the carriage. He hesitated and looked at the little girl opposite him.
"Because, no one gave way to me, and she hasn't gotten out of the car yet--"
Amosta looked at the girl again.
"The sun hasn't quite set yet--"
The little girl looked at Amosta with fear, and then said in a childish, crisp, and somewhat arrogant cold voice,
"I don't like to be active when the sun is shining."
As we were talking, the last ray of sunlight sank below the ground line. The moonlight was still faint, and the brightly lit castle looked as bright and hopeful as the fire from heaven stolen by Prometheus in ancient Greek mythology.
"I think now is the time."
Amosta didn't mind the rudeness in the little girl's tone. He smiled and extended a hand like a gentleman.
When the last passenger got off the carriage, the group of young wizards burst into discussion again.
Although his chestnut hair was a little messy, the handsome little boy also attracted some attention, but more people were looking at the little girl.
Compared to the many wizards present who were wearing robes, this little girl with skin so white that it was transparent was dressed so gorgeously.
She looked like a princess walking out of an ancient castle in a medieval fairy tale, wearing a dark black cake skirt dotted with white tassels, white cotton socks and black leather shoes on her feet, her long hair like a waterfall draped over her shoulders, and her facial features were more exquisite than the porcelain made by the most skilled craftsmen.
"Veela!"
Feeling the burning and restlessness of the blood in his body, Ron gave the final evaluation!
"Then, all of them!"
Amosta was about to invite the students to the auditorium for dinner when he suddenly remembered something and slapped his forehead.
"Kreacher, Dom, Dobby!"
When the three silent elves emerged from the cold air, Amosta said happily,
"Let's go and eat!"
