Chapter 2 "The language is unclear": The language is unclear

Chapter 2 "The language is unclear": The language is unclear
Kunlun 67 years, autumn, August.

On the night Ming was born, his father accidentally kicked over the oil pan while he was boiling hot water.

It was also unfortunate that Mars fell on the oil.It was a thatched hut. It rained yesterday and the inside was filled with rice straws that had just been collected. The flames instantly sealed the door. The midwife Wen was so panicked that she pulled the baby out of the womb with the placenta without even cutting the umbilical cord. She held it in her arms and climbed out of the window to escape.Unfortunately, she was so fat that her upper body could barely get out, but her lower body was stuck and unable to move.Due to this blockage, the unknown parents in the house were not only unable to escape, but the only air outlet was also blocked, and they were immediately choked by the thick smoke and fainted.

The fire moved very fast, and flames and thick smoke burst out from the crack in the door. Wen Po shouted for help, her hand slipped, and she threw Ming unknown heavily to the muddy ground outside the house. The villagers rushed over after hearing the sound. Several people were busy looking for water to put out the fire. There were also three or five strong men grabbing Wen Po and pulling her. Unexpectedly, Wen Po was so dead that she didn't move at all.Wenpo cried and screamed, her voice was extremely shrill, and then she twitched, her eyes rolled up, and foam flowed from the corners of her mouth. The two strong men worked together and finally pulled Wenpo out of the window. Unexpectedly, the hut was already smoldering, but this single air hole was opened, air poured in, and the whole hut suddenly burst into flames.Everyone was startled, and then looked back at the Wen Po, only to see that her upper body was neatly trimmed, and her waistline was already roasted, giving off the aroma of meat.

The villagers who put out the fire vomited when they saw the tragic scene. Over the next three months, half of the people in the village became sick to their stomachs from the smell of lard.

In the chaos, a stout young woman picked up the baby on the dirt floor and escaped the tragedy.

This small village is located in Dengfeng, Zhengzhou, and is directly under the jurisdiction of Shaolin. Two days later, Shaolin's supervising monk arrived and inspected the scene. He couldn't help but frown.Such a weird fire, especially the tragic death of Po Wen, is really rare.

The villagers said that the child killed his parents and mother-in-law as soon as he was born. He was a disaster and they did not dare to take him in.Zen Master Liao Xin took the baby in his arms and saw that his eyes were dull and lacked the agility of ordinary babies. He opened the shawl and saw a large bruise on the back of his head. When he asked, he found out that Wen Po had dropped it by mistake, so he asked more questions. A few words.I only heard that this child is very easy to take care of. He cries less and makes less fuss. He eats when he is fed and defecates as usual. However, his parents died young and his surname is Ming. He has not yet given a name.

He was afraid that the baby had a hidden disease and did not dare to give it to others for adoption, so he took it back to the temple and reported it to Zen Master Juejian, the abbot of Zhengye Hall.Juejian only said: "Since there is a predestined relationship, let's accept it. Have you chosen a name?"

Liao Xin said: "He was born with disasters, maybe because of cause and effect. Since we don't know his name, we call him unknown."

At first, I found a family in the Buddhist capital to breastfeed my baby. The wet nurse was surprised that he didn't cry even though he was hungry. She pinched him a few times, but he struggled a little and stopped moving. The wet nurse scratched the corner of his eyes with straw, and tears flowed out, but there was no sound. Then the wet nurse nursed him. When Liao Xin came to see him, the wet nurse said that the child was probably crazy and would be of no use raising him, so Liao Xin only gave him some silver and told him to take good care of him.

After the Kunlun Conference, the old dynasty was replaced by nine major sects, collectively known as the "Nine Families".The nine great families divided the world, and one of the resolutions was to "pretend to be emperor, and the world will attack together." From then on, there will be no emperor or government in the world. The nine major families have established their own rules and regulations, and each governs many small and medium-sized sects. These sects have their own jurisdiction over the local area, which not only replaces the supervision of the old dynasty government offices, but also has the understanding and influence of the local gentry on local customs. It seems to have returned to more than a thousand years ago. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period two years ago, the nine great families were like nine princes, leading more small princes under them to jointly maintain order within the pass.

Liao Xin is the "supervising monk" of Shaolin.According to Shaolin regulations, service monks are stationed in various sects and temples within the jurisdiction. The duty of the supervisory monks is to monitor all violations of laws within the jurisdiction and arrest prisoners.Since Liao Xin was the supervising monk, he often had to go out for inspections. Ming Ming had just been weaned, so when Liao Xin went out, he was handed over to the care of the neighboring monk Lexu.

In the first two years, no matter how he taught Liao Xin, Ming Wuxi never said a word. Liao Xin once suspected that he was mute, and also doubted what the wet nurse said that Ming Wuxi was indeed an idiot.

In the fourth year, one day, I recited the morning lesson and recited "The Seventh Point of the Diamond Sutra: No Gain, No Saying". I took a breath and was about to recite it again. Ming Wuxiang, who was listening on the side, suddenly spoke and continued: "Subhuti! What do you mean? The Tathagata has attained Anuttarasamyaksambodhi? The Tathagata has something to say..."

In this way, Ming Wuxiang finished the entire passage in silence, staring at Xin with wide eyes, as if waiting for Xin's reaction.

From then on, Ming Wuxi became able to speak.

I was surprised and delighted to find out that he was a righteous monk, different from lay monks, he was a sincere practitioner who upheld the precepts. He decided that Ming Wu was destined to be a Buddha, so he reported this strange incident to the Supreme Being.

Juejian frowned and asked, "Is this really happening?"

Liao Xin replied: "How dare I deceive you?"

Juejian said: "As your adopted son has a predestined relationship with Buddhism, he should get close to Buddhism and enter a temple to practice. Is this what you mean?"

Liao Xin heard the hidden meaning, blushed, and said hurriedly: "Abbott, if you don't believe it, I'll just bring Xiang'er."

Juejian waved his hand: "No need, you work hard, I already intend to let you into the church, there is no need to force you to raise a child. Children should be allowed to follow their own nature."

Liao Xin was originally a supervisory monk outside the Shaolin Temple. He dealt with local violations of laws. When he entered the temple, he entered one of the four courtyards and eight halls. He was subordinate to the central government and dealt with the affairs of the Shaolin family. Although he was still a supervisory monk, But their powers are quite different. Not only can they move into the Shaolin Temple and live there. After death, the ashes can be placed and enshrined in Shaolin. The dream of many monks is to get a seat in the hall, especially the righteous monks who are the most diligent and regard it as an honor to enter the hall.

Knowing that the abbot had misunderstood, Liao Xin sighed and moved into an empty two-room apartment in the Shaolin Temple with Ming and Wuxi without making any excuses. There is a hall in the house, which is not only used as a Buddhist hall for morning and evening recitations, but also as a living room. Although it is small, it can accommodate two chairs, a coffee table, and several bookcases.

After that, Liao Xin took care of official business in Zhengye Hall.

At this time, although Ming Wuxi could speak, he rarely opened his mouth.Liao Xin found that most of the time the child was watching himself, watching himself chatting with other monks, or watching other monks chatting. In addition to watching, he also listened. He listened to the drums in the evening and the bells in the morning, and the scriptures in the morning and evening.I was worried that my child would be bored, so I bought some children's toys for Ming Shishi when I went out. However, regardless of whether the kite, diabolo or nine-link wave drum, Ming Shishi was just playing with them rather than enjoying them. I couldn't tell whether this child was smart or not. dull.

When I was seven years old, one unknown day, I quietly listened to my heart and finished my morning lessons as usual, and suddenly asked: "All appearances are false. What do you mean?"

The heart suddenly became excited. From the time when Ming Wu was four years old, he was convinced that this child was destined to be a Buddha. He waited for Ming Wu for three years before he asked the first question, and it was a scripture from the Diamond Sutra. He was both happy and trembling. , I was afraid that my explanation would miss the point and misunderstand unknown practice, so I thought carefully before speaking.

"To understand this sentence, you must first understand the meaning of 'phase'." Liao Xin said, "Phase is what we see with our eyes, smell with our noses, hear with our ears, taste with our tongues, touch with our bodies, and think with our hearts. All the surfaces in the world are all appearances.”

"All kinds of appearances in the world?" Ming Wuxiang didn't show a puzzled expression when he asked the question, but it took him a while to "squeeze out" the puzzled expression.Liao Xin has become accustomed to this situation. The child's emotions are always a little slower and his expression is stiff, like a poor imitation.

Liao Xin continued: "That's right, everything you feel is not real, it is illusory and false. Appearances also include other things. The obsessions and thoughts in your heart are all appearances, for example..."

Liao Xin picked up the mallet used for chanting and asked, "Is this mallet hard or soft?"

"Hard."

Liao Xin closed the mallet with both palms and used the power of the Prajna Palm. The mallet was pressed by the huge force and became as concave as a rice spoon.

"I think this is soft." Liao Xin said.

Ming unknown nodded: "Softness and hardness are relative. I think it's hard, Master, you think it's soft."

"You think it's hard, I think it's soft. These are all thoughts. Thoughts are also a kind of appearance. Preconceived notions are wrong."

Ming Ming asked again, "If these are all false, what is true?"

Liaoxin replied: "When you are attached to the true and false, you are also obsessed with the form, and you have a mind to distinguish between true and false."

After a while, Ming Ming showed a confused expression again.

"There is no need to distinguish between true and false. You are false, and the food is also false, but you still have to eat when you are hungry. Understand that all appearances are false, and people will not be arrogant and complacent in good times, nor will they be complacent in adverse times. He will blame everyone. If he really wants to be able to overcome the reality, that is another level. Your master and I are still far away."

After saying that, Liao Xin burst into laughter. After a while, Ming Ming smiled and asked, "Who has reached that realm? Have you met the abbot?"

Liao Xin shook his head: "The abbot is not here either."

"Where's the first seat of Juekong?"

"You do remember the name of Chief Juekong. When have you seen him?"

"I heard Master mentioned it to others."

Juekong is the head of Samantabhadra Monastery, which is the upper courtyard of Zhengye Hall. He is senior and respected, but Juekong is a "lay monk". Liaoxin believes that compared with "righteous monks" like himself, it is difficult to discuss Buddhism. , he is far from it.

"He might as well meet the abbot."

"What about Abbot Juesheng?"

Ming unknown asked several names one after another, but he couldn't be sure. He only said: "There are many eminent monks and virtuous people. They are all capable of breaking through the illusion of life and death. That is an amazing state, but you can't tell it from the outside." , you have to look at your heart. There are many false monks and false Buddhas in the world, you have to be discerning. If you are interested in Buddhism, I will teach you the scriptures starting tomorrow."

At the beginning of the second day, Liaoxin started from the story of the World Honored One, and then taught the unknown "Middle Way". After finishing "Middle Way", he started to read the "Heart Sutra" and "Diamond Sutra".In the Buddhist scriptures, the understanding of unknown things is excellent, and by drawing inferences from one instance, one can think without hindrance.During each inspection, Ming Wuxi always responded fluently, and his eyes that were originally blank gradually became brighter, and his expression was no longer dull as before. Whenever he got to the point where he expressed joy and admiration, Ming Wuxi would also smile knowingly.

At the age of eight, Ming unknown began to practice martial arts with Xin, starting from the basic Mabu bridge hand, and gradually learned the Luohan boxing and internal skills.

Ming Wuxi's understanding of martial arts seems to be based on Buddhist scriptures. Once he practices any move, he can understand it at a glance. The practice of internal strength emphasizes calmness and less worry. Once he enters concentration, he will be able to think straight and understand clearly that what he brought back is not only not an idiot, but also a genius that is rare to see in a century.

On his 12th birthday, Liao Xin called Ming Wuxiang to him and asked, "You are [-] this year. Although you grew up in a temple, you never go out to play except to practice martial arts. I rarely have visitors here. I am very interested in you." You told me some rules in the temple, do you remember them?"

Ming Wu nodded. One thing he had never changed since he was a child was that he didn't like to talk.

Liao Xin took out a palm-sized booklet from his arms, half a knuckle thick, with the four words "Buddha Disciple Precepts" written in small letters. This is a book of precepts that must be followed by both monks and laymen in the Shaolin Temple. It contains 310 six precepts in detail, all written in small regular script. Every disciple must carry it with him and not lose it. He must also be familiar with the precepts in it when entering and leaving the temple. , if an elder asks a question, he will take out this booklet and answer the question.

"Take it with you, don't lose it." Liao Xin handed the "Buddha Disciple Precepts" to Ming Shixiang, "When the disciples in the temple reach twelve years old, if they want to stay in the temple, they have to do hard labor. I heard that the Shaolin Temple in the past only refers to the abbot. In the main hall where it is located, there are no distinctions between regular and lay monks. Even though they are involved in martial arts, most of their actions are chivalrous and righteous. Today's Shaolin Temple is the size you see. There are many regular and lay monks in it, and it is no longer as clean as it was back then. .There are no female relatives in the temple, you..."

Liao Xin looked at Ming Ming's handsome and beautiful face and saw that his skin was as fair as a virgin's. He had heard about some dirty things in the temple and said: "You need to pay attention to everything. If someone forces you to do something you don't want to do, you must resist. Your master will seek justice for you. Do you know what I mean?"

"Would it be fun to do that kind of thing?"

Unexpectedly, Ming Ming would ask such a question, and he was stunned for a moment before he said, "Human ethics have great desires, as do food and sex. But indulging in sexual immorality is harmful to spiritual practice."

"Has Master done this?"

Liao Xin laughed loudly: "Are you making fun of Master? Your Master has been a monk since he was a child and has never thought about this."

"Then Master, how do you know that your practice is damaged, and how do you know that you are going to sink?" Ming Ming came to an unknown conclusion, "Master has said many truths, but has done very few things."

I really haven't thought about this problem myself. He has kept the precepts since he was a child and is proud to be a righteous monk. There are so many things he has never done in his life, which is a pity...

Just the thought of "what a pity" came up, and he immediately became vigilant.Thoughts are karma. He kept the precepts very deeply and immediately stood up and said: "I want to chant sutras. From tomorrow on, you and others can clean the Zhengye Hall."

From that day on, the sentence "Master said many truths but did few things" has been lingering in my heart, popping up from time to time.It was a seed that fell on barren soil, ready to move.

Zhengye Hall is located in the Puxian Courtyard on the right side of the main hall of Shaolin Temple. After the previous dynasty, like other sects, Shaolin Temple has expanded many pagodas and halls. Looking directly at it, a straight road leads directly to the main hall. On the left are Samantabhadra Temple and Wenshu Temple, and on the right are Guanyin Temple and Di Temple. Tibetan courtyard. Each courtyard has two halls, one hall, four courtyards and eight halls. This is the current regulation of Shaolin Temple.

Shaolin Temple is different from other sects. Buddhism advocates purity. It is not located in a bustling and noisy place. There are no shops and houses around. More than [-] monks and disciples live in the temple. Each temple has thousands of monks living in it. The bustling Buddhist capital was only five miles away.Monks and people live together there, making it the largest city in the Songshan area. There are hundreds of monks living in the Buddhist capital, which are used to live in the monks outside the temple who manage this area of Zhengzhou. It is also called the "Unnamed Temple" - logically speaking, The temples and sects in charge of the place all have names. However, this place is under the direct jurisdiction of the Shaolin Temple, but it is not part of the hall and has no temple to rely on, so it is called the "Unnamed Temple".Ming lived there until he was four years old.

Ming Wuxi was assigned to the Zhengye Hall as a cleaner. He was an entry-level servant. There were more than twenty disciples with him, most of whom were monks of his generation, a generation younger than Xin. Among them, there were also Ming Wuxi. Lay disciples. The leading disciple is called Yue Yue, and his face is covered with black spots. Privately, fellow monks call him "Spotted Dog."This nickname came about because a Dalmatian dog broke into Zhengye Hall a few years ago and bit him on Moon's calf. They secretly snickered and said it was a Dalmatian biting a Dalmatian.

Out of compassion, the abbot just drove the beast out of the temple. Some people said that this month he slipped out of the room at night, used rat meat to lure the dog, beat it to death, and dumped its body in the woods outside the temple. Others said that this month he ate the dog. This month, I have learned from Wu, and Wu is a lay monk. Naturally, I am also a lay monk this month. Lay monks are always doubtful about observing the precepts. In short, no one thinks that they will give up this month.

When he saw Ming Wuxiang for the first time this month, he frowned and asked, "Are you the adopted son of Master Luo Xin?"

Ming unknown nodded.

This month spat, stretched out his hand to rub Ming Xiang's face, full of teasing: "No wonder, you are so beautiful, I must know that Master Xin loves you very much, right?"

As soon as he finished speaking, several monks nearby started laughing, and Ming Ming also laughed too. This month, he cursed angrily: "Why are you laughing?" He pushed Ming for unknown reasons. He was nearly twenty years old, much taller than Ming Wuxi, and he was a tonsured monk who could practice more advanced martial arts in the temple. He pushed Ming Wuxi to the ground with great force.

Even though it was unclear, he didn't get angry and stood up.This month he asked again: "Why are you laughing?"

Ming Ming didn't say anything, so he raised his voice this month and cursed again: "Don't you know how to speak?"

Ming Ming shook his head and said, "Yes."

"Then why are you laughing? Tell me!"

He didn't answer even though he didn't know.

This month, he was so angry that he slapped Mingshi to the point where he staggered.

"Why are you laughing? Tell me!"

The monks who were watching the excitement were taken aback and hurriedly stepped forward to dissuade them. But this month still refused: "Why are you laughing? Are you looking down on me?"

There was a crisp sound, and there was another red palm print on Ming's face.

Everyone hurriedly pulled this month away and advised: "He is just a child and still stupid, don't care about it."

"You idiot, you deserve to be the one to blame! Fu Yingcong, he will work with you from now on!"

A fifteen or sixteen-year-old boy hurriedly came out and laughed: "Yes, yes! Newcomer, come with me quickly, don't waste time!" He grabbed the dung bucket and pulled Ming Wuxi over.

Seeing that everyone was still stunned this month, he cursed: "What the hell! Why don't you still work?"

Fu Yingcong led Ming Wuxi away, looked back and saw everyone dispersed, and said to Ming Wuxi, "Why did you offend that spotted dog when you came here?"

"How did I offend him?" Ming asked unknownly.

Fu Yingcong said: "Why were you laughing just now?"

"You don't think it's funny, why are you laughing?"

Fu Yingcong shook his head after hearing Ming Ming's unknown answer, thinking that he was indeed an idiot. "Take it." He stuffed the excrement bucket in his hand to Ming Wuxiang and said, "There are more than 1000 people in Zhengye Hall. No one is cleaning up, and the excrement will be piled up in the Main Hall. Don't think this job is disgusting and heavy. This is an important matter.”

Then he asked: "Your master is a monk, do you plan to become a monk in the future?"

Ming shook his head in confusion, and Fu Yingcong couldn't figure out whether he meant he didn't know or didn't want to.

"You're stupid. You don't become a monk. Even if you stay in the Shaolin Temple, you will be bullied. Didn't Monk Liao Xin tell you?"

Ming Ming shook his head again. Although he could speak, he seemed to only like shaking his head and nodding.

Fu Yingcong saw that Mingming was not clear and he immediately started to show off: "The spotted dog is so arrogant, isn't it just because of the few scars on his head? Let me teach you a rule. Although the Shaolin Temple does not stipulate that disciples must become monks, there are one temple, four courtyards and eight halls. , which abbot is not bald? There may not only be Taoist priests in the temple, but there must be monks in the temple. If they don’t become a monk, the lay disciples will be just laymen in the temple, cooperating with the affairs, and like me, they will be bullied by the monks every day. Damn it , when I leave the Shaolin Temple one day, I will pour shit on the spotted dog’s head and teach him how to behave!”

Fu Yingcong saw that Mingming was unknown and did not reply. He cursed, "Why don't you speak again?"

Ming shook his head and said he had nothing to say.

"If you don't speak up, people will bully you, but you speak up!"

"What did you say?" Ming asked unclearly.

"Just say what comes to mind!"

"Are you going to become a monk?"

Isn't this the question I asked him just now?
"What's so good about becoming a monk? You can't eat meat, and you can't play with women. If you don't want to learn skills and get a chivalry certificate so that you can go out and make a living in the future, who would want to stay in this damn place!" Fu Yingcong still answered, "Damn it. , it’s just because I was born in the wrong place, if I were born in Shandong, the Songshan sect wouldn’t have so many rules!”

"Songshan Sect?" Ming asked unknownly, "What is the name of the knight?"

"You don't know?" Fu Yingcong deliberately showed a surprised expression. It was a rare opportunity for him to show off his meager knowledge. "In fact, the Songshan Sect is also under the control of the Shaolin Temple, but it is like brothers who want to separate. No wonder, they are Taoists. Yes, we are not related to each other. But when it comes to Songshan, everyone must think of Shaolin Temple first, because of this mess. More than [-] years ago, they were clamoring to change their name to Songyang Sect. I heard that there was a big fuss. The turmoil, talk about the Shaosong dispute, the result is not that the Shaolin Temple was beaten to death and asked to go back to Songshan, but the Taoist temple was moved to Shandong."

Then he continued: "As for the chivalrous certificate, it is like an ultimatum for knights. As long as you are successful in your studies, you can apply for the chivalrous certificate from your sect, and you will be a hero. The sect will pay you monthly salary, and you can serve as a bodyguard to protect the courtyard. , you can also join a sect, receive a job, help the sect manage the place, and do some work that only a knight can do. But after receiving the title of knight, you must abide by the rules, especially the rules of the sect... Well, I won’t mention it here. , I was unlucky enough to be born in Shanxi, alas..."

Ming Bu listened carefully and found out that his master was a man of few words and devoted himself to Buddhism. In addition to chanting sutras, giving lectures and instructing martial arts, sometimes he could not say more than two sentences to his disciples in a day.Not to mention the fact that Ming Wu has wisdom and will definitely become a monk in the Shaolin Temple and recite Buddha's name in the future, so he doesn't bother to mention these martial arts rules.

So, until today, the number of unclear words gradually increased.

A few nights later, while I was sleeping in my room, I suddenly heard a low growl, which sounded like a sigh.He stood up and gently pushed the door open a small crack, only to see that the window was not covered. The moonlight filtered in from the window, and a figure could be vaguely seen pacing back and forth. It was the master. But when I saw the heart, my steps were fast and urgent, but light and light, as if it couldn't touch the ground, as if I was worrying about something. There was only one oil lamp in the hall, and the weak flame swayed in front of the Buddha statue, as if it would be stepped out by him at any time.

After walking like this for a while, I heard Xin Xin's heavy sigh again. I saw him opening the door, and he didn't know where he was going in the middle of the night. He waited quietly for unknown reasons, and after half an hour, he went back to the house again. He was soaked all over, and tied his monk's robe around his waist. He was naked from the waist up, revealing a body of muscles that had been polished for a long time. The water droplets were crystal clear under the moonlight.I saw him entering the house for unknown reasons, but he never came out after entering.

I didn't ask what happened to my heart, and I didn't ask if anything like this happened again.

A few months later, the master and the disciple had finished their evening recitation and were about to go to bed when they suddenly said, "Master, wait a minute." He quickly walked into the room and when he came out again, he was already holding a longevity peach in his hands. .

"Where did this come from?" Ziao Xin asked in surprise.

"I did Fu Yingcong's job for him." Ming answered unknownly, "He bought it for me outside the temple." He handed it over with both hands, indicating that he would accept the longevity peach.

"What does it mean?"

"Today is your fortieth birthday."

He was greatly moved, his eyes and nose were sore, and he took a small breath before suppressing it.

"You have good intentions, how do you know?"

"When I was cleaning the room, I saw Master's ultimatum and the chivalrous certificate, both of which had Master's birthday written on them."

"I'm talking about giving gifts." Ziao Xin said with a straight face, "How did you learn how to do that?"

"A few days ago, I saw someone giving a gift to Abbot Juejian. After asking, I found out that it was the birthday of Abbot Juejian."

Every time a person with high authority in the temple celebrates his or her birthday, someone who welcomes him will give him generous gifts, which I deeply consider to be a bad habit.Of course, it is unknown whether this filial piety is the same as those of those people. He took the Shoudao, but saw that Ming Xiang's eyes seemed to be shining, and he looked quite excited.

"Master, eat it."

Liao Xin replied: "Master doesn't eat after lunch, you know it."

"Then how can I have dinner?" Ming asked unknownly. Every child has endless questions.

"You are at the age where you are growing bones and flesh, and you have not become a monk to observe the precepts, so you do not need to be bound by this rule."

"If I'm about to starve to death and I'm late, can't I eat?"

"If you break the precepts in order to survive, with this thought, you will open the door for yourself. The physical body is suffering, and if you really starve to death, you will be liberated." I don't know if this child will understand. .

Ming said unclearly: "Master, you often say let go of self-attachment, isn't this considered attachment?"

He was stunned for a moment.

Ming Ming continued: "You taught me that people are delusional and food is delusional, but people have to eat when they are hungry. Eating is for cultivation. If every baby is born to detect the reality, he will starve to death. How to practice?" ?”

Liao Xin said: "If you don't practice, how can you detect the reality?"

Ming asked uncertainly: "If you don't eat, how can you practice?"

Liao Xin said: "Unless you have reached the realm of bigu cultivation, you have to eat food. Not eating after noon is a precept."

It was unclear and he added: "Then you said that you can't violate the precepts even if you starve to death?"

“Since we are practicing by observing the precepts, we should put the precepts first.”

“Being attached to the precepts is not attachment?”

After thinking about it, I felt it was inappropriate. I thought about it, but I also felt it was inappropriate. After thinking about it for a while, I said, "It comes from the heart. When you are truly in a state of non-attachment, you will naturally not be attached to the precepts."

Ming unknown replied: "How do you know that you have reached that state?"

"Master hasn't reached that realm yet. Once he reaches that realm, he will naturally know."

Knowing that it was unclear, he asked again: "Master, who knows who has reached that realm?"

I can't answer this question.Seeing his hesitation, Ming Wuji added, "Master, haven't you ever thought that you have to first try to let go of your attachments before you can really let go of your attachments?"

He was stunned again.

Ming said uncertainly: "This longevity peach will be broken tomorrow, I'll take it and throw it away."

Liao Xin said: "You can eat it. It's enough if you have this heart. Don't do this false courtesy in the future."

Ming Ming shook his head and said, "This is Master's birthday peach, not mine. My disciple is obsessed with it."

Liao Xin laughed, then saw that he took Shoudao with an unknown expression and turned around to leave. He couldn't bear it and shouted: "Wait a minute."

Ming Wuxi turned around, Zaoxin hesitated for a moment, then shook his head and said, "It's okay." Mingwuxi turned around to leave, but Zaoxin stopped him again, hesitated for a while, and then said, "Come here."

Ming unknown walked back to Xin, who looked at Shoudao and pondered for a long time.

Finally, he reached out his hand, broke off a small piece from the longevity peach, and put it into his mouth. He didn't eat after lunch, and it was already late at night. Although he was used to it, this small bite still felt sweet and delicious, which was very different from his previous diet. "This mouthful fulfills your filial piety." Liao Xin said, "Does this mean Master is no longer persistent?"

Ming Wuxi smiled slightly and said: "Master has broken the precepts for his disciple, so let's eat the whole thing? Is there any difference between one bite and one?"

Liao Xin shook his head: "You know what Master wants, it's not about eating more or less, it's about following your heart, do you understand?"

Ming said with an unknown smile: "From the heart, it doesn't matter whether you eat or not. The first bite, the second bite, and the third bite, what's the difference?"

Liao Xin felt that this made sense. Just as he was about to reach out, he was suddenly startled and retracted his hand again, saying: "It's rare to see you so sharp-tongued... Go and sleep."

Ming unknown placed the longevity peach on the table, bowed and went back to the room to rest.

That night, Liao Xin tossed and turned in bed, feeling extremely hungry. This was something she hadn't felt in more than ten years.

After Laba Festival, there was a heavy snowfall in Shaolin Temple. The two masters and apprentices swept away the snow in front of the monk's residence, and said to Ming Wuxi: "Practice is just like this. Everyone sweeps the snow in front of their own door. It is unrealistic for you to expect others to help you."

Ming Ming asked back, "Do you mean to stop caring about the frost on other people's tiles?"

Liao Xin said: "Look at this courtyard. There are thousands of monks living in Samantabhadra Monastery alone. Can you clean it all? If everyone sweeps the door diligently, it will naturally be clean."

"Master, you mean that the World Honored One is meddling in other people's business?"

Liao Xin laughed and said: "The World Honored One can only give you direction when it comes to cultivation. It's like giving you a broom and dustpan, and you have to sweep the floor yourself. Sweeping snow is just a metaphor. You can help others sweep snow, but you can't help others practice."

Ming said unclearly: "So, if you don't practice enough, you can't blame others?"

Liao Xin nodded: "There are many demonic tests in the world that test people's hearts. Those demonic tests are not evil obstacles, but bodhisattvas in adversity. Only when they can withstand it can their merits be perfected."

Ming Ming looked at the snow on the eaves and seemed to understand.

After the New Year is the beginning of spring, after the beginning of spring comes the rain.February 21st is the birthday of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, and this day is the most important in Samantabhadra Temple. Not only do we chant sutras for seven days and nights, but we also have Buddhist monks from Wenshu Monastery hold lectures and study the Dharma together. In the past few years, Liao Xin would leave Ming Wu Shi at home and go to the venue to chant sutras by himself. This year, when Ming Wu Shi turned twelve, he quit reciting sutras and took Ming Wu Shi with him to listen to the sutras.

This was the first time Ming Wuxi heard Buddhism explained by someone outside his heart.

On the eighth day of March, Liao Xin called Ming Wuxiang.

"I'm going to Songshan to do some errands. I'll set off tomorrow. I'm not here, so you have to take good care of yourself."

This "Songshan" naturally does not refer to a place name, but to the Songshan sect who moved to Shandong.Located in Jinan City, right next to Taishan Sect.

"Are you going to go for a long time?" Ming asked uncertainly.

"As soon as one month, I will come back and take you to the Buddha's capital to attend the Buddha's birthday. If not, I will have time to eat rice dumplings with you."

After that, he made some instructions, nothing more than not to slack off when he was not around.

That night, when Liao Xin was about to go to bed, he suddenly opened the door and walked in.

"What's wrong?" Liao Xin asked.

"I haven't slept with Master for many years, and I want to sleep with Master tonight." Ming said unknownly, "Master is going on a long trip tomorrow."

Since he was promoted to a monk, his focus has been on handling church affairs. Even if he goes out, he will be back within three days. Since Ming Shi Shi Shi Shi, the two have never been separated for such a long time.

Liao Xin smiled and said: "You are so old and you are still acting like a baby." She waved her hand and said, "Come here."

Ming unknown went to bed, curled up in his arms, and fell asleep after a while. He looked at the boy in his arms, handsome and elegant, and couldn't help but sigh when he thought of those years.

This kid never makes anyone worry.

Mingming fell into a deep sleep, stretched out his hand, and held his heart like he did when he was a child.I closed my eyes, but my thoughts were ups and downs, making it difficult to fall asleep.

The next day, Liao Xin seemed to have predicted something, and said to Ming Ming unknownly: "If someone bullies you these days, be patient with him, and don't argue with others. If you have something to deal with, Master will come back to deal with it, you know?"

Ming unknown nodded, indicating that he understood.

A month later, on April 25, seven corpses were found within the jurisdiction of Songshan Mountain in Shandong Province. They were all monks who were ordered to go to Songshan Mountain. They were killed on the way back, except for the dead body.

Although Liao Xin is not dead, no one in this world can see Xin anymore. He disappeared mysteriously and his whereabouts are never known again.

※ ※ ※

On the day when Liao Xin left the Shaolin Temple, he went to Zhengye Hall to do hard labor as usual. When he saw Ming Wuxiang this month, he immediately frowned and kicked the dung bucket towards him, hitting Mingwuxiang's chest.

Just listen to Yue Yue scolding: "Your master is so great that he doesn't even pay attention to the first seat of Juekong?!"

Ming Wuxi remembered Xin's instructions this morning and knew what he was doing. He silently picked up the dung bucket and turned to leave.Yue Yue took a step forward and stood in front of him, scolding: "You are not polite when you meet your senior brother? The master is neither big nor small, and the disciples are not well-educated. They are all bitches!" After that, he slapped Ming Wuxiang on the face.

Mingwu didn't say anything back or fight back, and just walked away. This month he got even angrier and kicked him from behind. This kick was forceful, hitting the waist. Ming and Wu leaned forward but still ignored him. The monks on the side quickly tried to persuade Yu Yu to stop.

Seeing that Ming Wuxi was about to leave, Fu Yingcong hurriedly caught up and said, "The more you ignore him, the more he will bully you."

Ming unknown replied calmly: "When your mind is free from obstacles, you will feel at ease."

"Are you really not angry?" Seeing the unknown, he just walked without answering. Fu Yingcong continued, "I heard that after the four houses discussed together yesterday, Chief Juekong issued a decree, but your master openly opposed it and started a fight with Chief Juekong. Conflict, do you know about this?”

"Master didn't mention it."

"Bangou is a lay monk, and his master, Laowu, is from the same school as Juekong. He must have bullied you like this today because of his master's instructions. I don't know, why don't you go and file a complaint with Abbot Juejian? Just say that Dangou is bullying others."

Unknown Ming stopped, looked at Fu Yingcong, and asked him: "He has bullied you a lot, why don't you go?"

Fu Yingcong blushed and lowered her head: "I... I will be eighteen in three months. I have passed the art trial, received the chivalrous certificate, and will leave the Shaolin Temple. Why bother with him?"

"You can't pass the audition." Ming said uncertainly.

Fu Yingcong felt guilty, but refused to admit it: "Who said I couldn't? You haven't seen what I'm capable of!"

Ming shook his head in confusion and continued walking.

"Wait a minute, your clothes are full of footprints. Take them off and pat them first." Fu Yingcong quickly followed, "If other senior brothers ask about it, there will be trouble again."

Ming Wuxiang put down the dung bucket, took off his robe, and patted it a few times. Fu Yingcong took his robe and said, "I'll do it." He turned around and patted it a few times. After seeing it was clean, he handed it back to Ming Wuxiang.I don't know why I put it on again, picked up the dung bucket and went to work.

The two poured out all the night incense and returned to Zhengye Hall.Normally, after the monthly inspection, everyone would disperse and go to the dining hall to have lunch. On that day, more than [-] monks gathered together. Everyone seemed to be prepared, but they didn't know where they were and stood in the queue waiting.

After a while, an old monk about fifty years old came, and Ming unknown recognized him as Juejian, the abbot of Zhengye Hall. After greetings first this month, Juejian asked: "Today I am going to study the Precepts for Disciples of the Buddha. Can you convey it in detail?"

"How dare you neglect the abbot's instructions. I will indeed inform you brothers this month, and the abbot can verify it."

Several disciples who were collaborating with Yue Yue said one after another: "It is indeed true, Senior Brother Yue Yue said it." Other disciples remained silent.Although I didn't know about it, I didn't say anything about it.

"Then, everyone, take out the "Buddha Disciple Precepts".

Everyone took out the booklet.Unknown Ming couldn't touch the "Buddha Disciple Precepts" in his robe, and looked at Fu Yingcong. Fu Yingcong looked ashamed, turned her head away from him, and took out a booklet from her arms, which looked vaguely familiar. Fu Yingcong knew it immediately. .

This month shouted: "It's unknown, where is your "Buddha Disciple Precepts"?"

"I lost it." Ming looked back at this month and said lightly, "I threw it away."

As soon as this statement came out, everyone was in an uproar. This month, he took the opportunity and cursed angrily: "Lost it? Shaolin disciples, the precepts come first! Didn't your master teach you that the "Buddha Disciple Precepts" should be with you at all times? Read it, are you self-cultivation and self-cultivation? How dare you be so bold?!" Then he said to Juejian: "Abbott, this unknown person is a scoundrel by nature and is difficult to teach. You need to punish him severely, otherwise I don't know how he will continue to scold him!"

Juejian walked over, looked at Ming Wuxiang and asked, "Are you the apprentice of Luo Xin?"

Ming unknown nodded.

"Liao Xin has always been disciplined and steady. Do you know why?"

The unknown answer was: "When the World-Honored One entered nirvana, Ananda asked the World-Honored One: When the Buddha is alive, the Buddha is the teacher. When the Buddha is absent, who is the teacher? The World-Honored One replied: The precepts are the teacher. Therefore, the master abides by the precepts and is extremely steady."

Juejian listened to what he said and asked again: "Shaolin Temple requires disciples to carry the "Buddhist Disciple Precepts" at all times. Occasionally, disciples can read it and check it for this reason. Since you know this principle, why did you lose it?"

Ming said vaguely: "The disciple only said that he threw it away, but he didn't say that he didn't take it with him."

Juejian was very surprised and asked, "What does this mean?"

Ming unknownly said: "The six precepts of 310 are engraved on the heart and are carried on the body."

This month he cursed: "You said you knew everything by heart? What nonsense are you bragging about?"

Ming unknown, clasping his hands together, he replied: "Abbott, please investigate."

Juejian knew that this month had always been bullying newcomers, so he expected that there must be something hidden, but seeing that it was unknown, he was so confident that he asked: "What are the seven precepts No. 70?"

"Buddha's disciples should abstain from sexual desires and abstain from sexual immorality. Those who commit adultery with their wives and daughters, have a bad reputation, and have no reputation as a chivalrous person should be expelled from the temple, captured, put on trial, and sentenced to death."

"Article [-]?"

"You are not allowed to accept disciples without the permission of the master who teaches the art. Without the permission of the eight abbots, the outer disciples will not teach the martial arts recorded in the Zhengjian Hall."

Juejian picked up a few more questions, and everyone listened and flipped through the booklet in their hands. They found that they were word for word, and everyone was shocked.Juejian was also deeply surprised and thought to himself: "I have always said that this boy has a connection with Buddha, but I never expected that he is so smart."

Yue Yue said angrily: "You said you memorized it well, but let me ask you, what is written on the fifth line of page 30 of No. [-]?"

This was intentional to make things difficult. Unexpectedly, he answered without hesitation: "Paragraph 217 of the Precepts of Buddhist Disciples: Buddhist disciples must not be greedy for money or compete with the people for property."

I looked through it this month and found that it was indeed not bad, and I was so surprised that I couldn’t open my mouth from ear to ear.Ming continued: "The sixth character in the fifth line of page No. 12 is the word 'not'; the seventh character in the tenth line of page No. 13 is the character 'luo'; the ninth character in the second line of page No. 16 is It's the character '文'; the eighth character in the sixth line of page No. 19..."

Speaking of this, Mingwu remained silent.Juejian took out the "Buddha's Disciples' Precepts" from his arms, turned to page No. 19, and saw that the unknown word was the word "zi".The four characters before and after are connected, which means "no writing".

Jue Jian understood that this was a sign that he kept the precepts with his heart and did not leave any words behind, so he threw away the "Precepts for Disciples of the Buddha".

"It's amazing, it's rare that you have such a memory. But even though you have a memory, you shouldn't throw away the "Buddha's Disciples' Precepts". You must know that the classics are the source of the Dharma. Relying on your own cleverness and discarding them at will is arrogant." Juejian said, "If you were asked to remember all the words in the Sutra Pavilion, wouldn't you want to burn them all with a fire? Then where would the backward people go?"

This month he said hurriedly: "That's right! This man has always been arrogant. The abbot should punish him to prevent him from relying on his cleverness and not taking others seriously!"

The unknown man bowed respectfully and replied: "Disciple, please remember this."

"Other disciples should also keep the precepts in mind and abide by them with all their heart as if it were unknown." After saying that, Juejian began to examine the precepts of each disciple. This month, I saw that Juejian had no intention of pursuing them, and his resentment was beyond words.

From then on, I became obsessed with the unknown. He paid attention to the unknown and knew that he recited it every day without interruption. After finishing his labor, he would go back to the house and not go out again until dinner. After that, he would turn off the lights and go to bed, and have less contact with outsiders.

More than a month later, bad news came from Songshan Mountain, saying that seven corpses had been found, but Xin was the only one missing. The body was transported back to the Shaolin Temple and had an autopsy conducted by the monks at the Zhengye Hall of Puxian Yuan. Rumors were already spreading even before the results were available.

Juejian sent someone to tell Ming Wuxiang about the disappearance of his heart, but Mingwuxi just nodded and closed the door.

Before we knew it, it was almost the Dragon Boat Festival.Every festival, a large number of gifts are sent to the Zhengye Hall. I don’t want my monk’s room to be contaminated by these tacky things, so I ask people to put the gifts in the hall. After the festival, he will send half of the gifts to the Zhengsi Hall of the Ksitigarbha Temple for temple use. , and the other half was given to the monk as a reward. When the monks received the gifts, although they chanted the Buddha's name and did not dare to say anything, their eyes were full of smiles. Only a few of them were able to donate what they received to Zhengsi Hall without taking any of it.

Why did Shaolin Temple become like this?Juejian thought to himself, did it start with the Kunlun consensus 90 years ago, or did it start with the Shaosong dispute more than [-] years ago and the introduction of lay monks?
This kind of change is like a drop of water wearing through a stone. Each erosion is subtle and invisible. Over time, it will no longer look like it was before. Forty years ago, lay monks were not allowed to enter the church. Now, two of the four houses are headed by lay monks. What will happen in another 40 years?

Juejian didn't dare to think about it anymore. He felt that the struggle between the lay monks and the orthodox monks in the Shaolin Temple was gradually brewing into a storm.Should you be at the center of the storm, or retreat from the rapids? He had been undecided on this issue.

By now, this storm may not only be brewing, but also taking shape. The eight monks sent to Songshan were equally divided between secular and secular. The bodies of the seven deceased monks were transported back to Shaolin Temple, but the Zhengye Hall autopsy showed extremely bad results.Seven monks all died in Shaolin martial arts, and they died from each other's stunts. If we really want to draw a conclusion, it is: the monks and lay monks fought and were seriously injured to death. Only You Xin survived and fled in fear of crime.

The monk who did the autopsy didn't dare to draw a conclusion, so he reported it to Juejian, who ordered another autopsy. However, the autopsy monk replied that the injuries were clear and the reexamination would give the same result. The autopsy certificate from Zhengye Hall was now on Juejian's desk, only missing his signature.

Fortunately, this year happened to be the Kunlun Conference held once every ten years. When the leader of the alliance was about to be changed, Juekong took the place of the abbot and went to the Kunlun Palace for a formality, which could delay it for a while.

But what will happen after the first seat of Juekong comes back? The best way is to write down "the murderer is unknown and the cause of death is yet to be investigated." Wait until you get your mind back and find out the truth before deliberation. If your mind is dead, the matter will be revealed.

But will things go so smoothly?

Juekong is the leader of the lay monks. Will he declare it truthfully, or will he hold back?Nowadays, lay monks account for more than [-]% of the Shaolin Temple, but there are only five seats in the four courtyards and eight halls. Although there is no clear rule for the position of abbot, it is a secret rule to spread the righteousness rather than the secular. The first one, Juekong, is really dedicated to Shaolin, or maybe there is something else. Selfishly?
The lay monks could not be trusted, so I thought to myself, who knows what those monks who are ordained for reasons other than faith are planning? This piece of paper is a magic weapon to stir up trouble.

If he skipped the Samantabhadra Monastery and presented it to the abbot, and waited for Juekong to come back and hold a discussion among the four courtyards, he would come to the conclusion that Juejian had already guessed that he was determined to kill his fellow disciples, betray the monastery and escape.

He believed that it was impossible to betray the temple with a clear heart, but this result not only avoided the dispute between the orthodox and the secular, but also represented that Samantabhadra Academy and the other three academies had reached a consensus. After that, it would be difficult to make any fuss. The practice of Er Jing. But since he had jumped up the ranks, he would inevitably conflict with Juekong's leader, and Liao Xin had to bear the consequences. No matter what the truth was, Liao Xin could not and would not appear again, and he had stepped from the edge of the storm into the center of the storm.

As for what the truth is, he believes that in this martial arts world, no less than seven people die every day.

Juejian suddenly felt very tired. For more than ten years since he became the abbot of Zhengye Hall, he had to bear heavy official duties. He was also very sophisticated and courteous. He rarely chanted sutras and approved more essays. He also had less meditation and more worries. He had to deceive and conceal important matters. Come on, act cheaply.

I have been practicing for many years, but I am getting further and further away from Buddha.Sometimes I want to let go, but I think to myself, if I don’t go to hell, who will?Which righteous monk doesn’t want to devote himself to spiritual practice?Should the huge Shaolin Temple be handed over to the control of lay monks?
Just where did the care go?

He used to think highly of him, until a few years ago, when he found out that he had an unknown mental talent and could recite the Diamond Sutra at the age of four, he suddenly understood that it was just a superficial appearance to observe the precepts, be solemn, be pure, and have a few desires. In his heart, he was still seeking fame and fortune. Thinking of the common people entering the hospital. How much hardship must a four-year-old child endure when he is forced to recite the Diamond Sutra?Thinking of this, Juejian distanced himself from him.

Now that I think about it, I realized that I was not lying, but I was wrong in the end.

Thinking again, it is not impossible for people to fight in the ordinary world and abscond out of fear of committing a murder after intending to kill someone.Even if you intentionally commit the precept of killing or being angry, you are not completely wrong.

How is that child going to live in the Shaolin Temple when he is just a caring disciple?
Juejian summoned a disciple and asked him to bring Ming Wuxi over.

He couldn't let his worries affect the child. Juejian looked at the autopsy form on the table and thought, no matter what, he must keep the child safe in the temple and wait until he becomes an adult before dealing with it.

After a while, the disciple arrived with Ming Wuxiang.Ming unknown saluted first, Juejian asked about his age, praised him for his intelligence, and then asked: Are you used to working hard in Zhengye Hall?
Ming said vaguely, "There's nothing I'm not used to."

Juejian said: "That child this month is narrow-minded and refuses to listen to your advice. I see that he often bullies you, right?"

Ming unknown said: "Master has said that all adversity Bodhisattva is a help to practice, not to mention he didn't really bully me."

Juejian was very surprised by this answer and couldn't help but ask: "How do you say he hasn't bullied you?"

"I feel free to do as I please, without any pretensions. How could he bully me?"

"He hit you, didn't you feel any pain?"

"The pain is temporary. It does not hurt the muscles or bones, nor does it hurt the life."

"What if it hurts life and bones?"

"Then it's not a matter of bullying. If your life is hurt, you have to fight back."

Juejian exclaimed, "I still didn't believe it when I mentioned you. I almost let the beautiful jade be buried in the rotten earth."

Ming unknown said: "Abbott's words are more in line with the fact that this month's senior brother is a Bodhisattva in adversity."

Juejian said: "I can't let him bully you. Do you have any plans to become a monk?"

"Disciple hasn't had time to think about it yet."

"You have Buddha's wisdom, and you will make a decision when the opportunity comes. I plan to transfer you to work elsewhere. Do you have a place you want to go?"

"This disciple wants to go to Wenshu Monastery."

Jue Jian said "Oh?" and asked: "Why Wenshu Monastery?"

Ming unknownly said: "All the classics in the temple are in the Sutra Collection Pavilion of Zhengjian Hall, and the sutra monks are also in Wenshu Monastery. If you have any questions, you can easily ask them."

Juejian nodded and thought to himself, this child is talented and smart, and knows how to strive for excellence. The most rare thing is that he is not complacent and arrogant, so he replied: "Very good. Then you will report to Wenshu Monastery tomorrow, and I will inform them and send You clean the Sutra Pavilion."

Ming asked unknownly: "Then I want to move to Wenshu Monastery?"

Juejian said: "There are still empty monk residences there. If you want to move, you can move."

"Abbott, you think my master will not come back?"

Jue Jian was shocked. This child should not be underestimated. He was able to talk to him in just a few words. But since he cared about his master and was filial, he could only say: "If your master comes back, I will notify you."

After saying that, Juejian found that Ming Wuxiang didn't reply, but just looked at himself with a pair of clear eyes, and couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. However, Ming Ming didn't ask any more questions and only said: "If the abbot has no other instructions, the disciple will leave."

"Just wait for me." Juejian got up and went to the next hall, picked out a bunch of rice dumplings from the gifts, and handed it to Mingshi when he came back, "I'll take this bunch of rice dumplings back for you to eat."

Ming Ming shook his head and didn't reach out.Juejian asked curiously: "You don't like eating rice dumplings?"

"This is a gift from outside, right?" Ming asked unknownly.

"So what?" Juejian asked.

"Master said that what is sent to Zhengye Hall is not a gift, but a debt. After collecting the debt, no matter how many times it is transferred, the principal must be repaid with interest in the future. Whoever eats this bunch of rice dumplings will have to pay back the debt of sending rice dumplings in the future. , I just don’t know which way to pay it back, this is called cause and effect.”

Juejian chewed these words carefully and felt that he seemed to understand that his generosity was just transferring these dirty things used for flattery to other people in Zhengye Hall. It's cause and effect, and you have to pay it back. You just let others bear the bad karma you planted.

Letting others bear their bad karma, isn't that what you are planning to do?At this moment, Juejian even felt that Ming Wuxiang had seen through his intentions.

But this is impossible, Mingwu is just a child...

"Go ahead and report to Wenshu Monastery starting tomorrow." Juejian told Mingshi.

After Ming Wei left, Juejian pondered for a long time, called his disciples, and ordered: "Send all the gifts to Ksitigarbha Monastery."

"Aren't you going to keep some?" the disciple asked in surprise.

Juejian saw the disappointed eyes of his disciples, but he was even more disappointed with this group of disciples and replied: "I won't keep any more. I will not accept any gifts from the future."

Juejian wrote the conclusion on the autopsy: "Death may have been caused by a fight, and there are suspicions to be investigated." He signed his name immediately. He was determined to submit the results to Samantabhadra and let Chief Juekong handle the matter. The dispute between orthodoxy and secularity in Shaolin Temple is a common cause and cannot be borne by one person. Even if it is whitewashed today, it will still have to be resolved in the future.

If this was a storm, he should be thrown into it.

In the following years, Ming and unknown people stayed in Wenshu Monastery and cleaned the Sutra Pavilion.

Two years later, late one night, Fu Yingcong hanged himself in the woods outside the temple.

Another year passed, and this month he suddenly went crazy and dug out his own eyes. From then on, he became confused and frightened day and night.

However, in the huge Shaolin Temple, these are just a few trivial things.

No one will pay attention.
