I am an immortal in heaven and earth

Chapter 464 Exchange of needs

Chapter 464 Exchange of needs

The re-establishment of the Huashan Sect is actually just a series of boring procedures.

The key is to announce to the public that Xu Jia accepted four disciples and made Huo Can'er the head of Huashan Sect. He also opened the door to allow Huo Can'er and the two elders of Huashan to accept some innate "qi-training people" or innate warriors as disciples. They are all small and medium-sized forces around Huashan. After they become disciples of the two elders of Huashan and Huo Can'er, their forces are also incorporated into Huashan. They have to pay tribute and materials every year, and Huashan also provides them with protection.

In addition, it was announced that the children of honest and upright families around Huashan would be recruited as disciples. Of course, it was not really recruiting disciples, but it was just gathering various forces to jointly open a "Huashan Wenwu School" to teach young people who are both civil and martial.

The best batch of students in this school can be sent to Huashan Sect for selection and examination. The top three in each session can even be listed as true disciples, and the next best ones in the top ten will become outer disciples.

The rest entered other sects to practice, and when they reached a certain level, some returned to school to teach students, while others expanded outward to build the Huashan branch.

Even Duan Ziyu, Huang Yi and others, although they had not yet reached the level of mastery, each of them had accepted a disciple with a clean background and excellent aptitude.

And these disciples were all selected by Xu Jia after he used his Yang Shen thought to shock the Dharma Realm and observe the past and future of tens of thousands of people in an instant. Although they may not achieve great success in the future, after all, this world will usher in the Age of Dharma Extinction within two to three hundred years, which is roughly the middle and late Qing Dynasty.

By that time, all the yang gods in the world will have ascended to heaven, and only a few earthly immortals will remain in the world. It will be difficult for them to escape the catastrophe, and the mortals will be even more in turmoil as the law is extinct. Magic and martial arts will all enter the end of the world, and it will be difficult for everything to be effective and powerful. People's qualifications will become worse and worse, and the evil in people's hearts will become more and more powerful.

Xu Jia just felt tired and didn't want to try to save the world in this life, but he also felt that he had a compassionate nature, so if he didn't know about it, it would be fine. But if he already knew about it but turned a blind eye to it, then what was the difference between him and those who escaped from the ship?

The Hengshan School, the Hengshan School, and even the Louguan School, did not leave after watching the ceremony, but instead communicated with the Huashan disciples.

However, at night, the head of the Hengshan Sect, Mo Da, the head of the Hengshan Sect, Master Ci Jing, and the head of the Louguan Sect, Yi Yangzi, all traveled to Huashan in the form of night tours of the Yuanshen Dharma Realm.

Mo Da was originally the leader of the Caixi Sect, a group of people in the martial arts world. Later, he inherited the legacy from the Child-Grandma of Hengshan Mountain, and practiced Taoism and accepted some disciples. Therefore, although the Hengshan School can be traced back to Wei Cunhua, its foundation is actually very shallow when it comes to the founding of the school.

Xu Jia's fundamental method of Dahuangting was actually left by Wei Cunhua, the leader of the Shangqing Sect of the Hengshan School. The Huangting Neijing Sutra preserved in later generations only has 24 body gods left, not Dahuangting, and the Huangting Waijing Sutra has also been lost.

Xu Jia's purpose was to attract the Hengshan faction to form an alliance.

Of course, Xu Jia would definitely not reveal his entire way of cultivation. He only recited the original text orally.

But this scripture is unique in the world. Even if Xu Jia spreads it orally, the original meaning cannot be understood. Instead, it is a Huangting Gong method with Xu Jia's characteristics, just like Xu Jia passed it to Xiaopang, and Xiaopang cultivated it to become a fairy...

The Taoist methods of building the foundation of Louguantai and repairing palaces and temples also have their origins in this. Xu Jia also preached to the current Taoist master of Louguantai.

In exchange, the Hengshan School shared with Xu Jia the "Secret Strategy of Emperor Huangdi Passed Down by the Nine-Heaven Mysterious Lady" that was passed down by the Hengshan Tonglao. The Hengshan Tonglao became a Taoist in Huashan. She was the reincarnation of a princess in the Han Dynasty and a daughter of an ancient emperor. She was granted the title of the master of Huaxi Cave Heaven in the west of Huashan. Therefore, she knew the inheritance of the Nine-Heaven Mysterious Lady. The Nine-Heaven Mysterious Lady passed down military tactics, bedroom techniques, and medical skills to Huangdi, while Guangchengzi passed down the methods of cultivation to Huangdi. However, the Hengshan Tonglao herself became a disciple of Wei Cunhua, and she supplemented the methods of cultivation in this secret purpose.

Of course, the Hengshan School did not share its methods of training Taoist soldiers with others, but only passed on the Taoist methods, skills, and original intentions. However, some of the true meanings were lost, and only 70% to 80% of the flavor was retained.

Xu Jia was interested in the Nine Heavens Mysterious Origin Method, but unfortunately Deng Yin vowed not to pass it on. However, he did not expect that the Hengshan School also had the Nine Heavens Mysterious Woman's Secret Instructions.

Although the way of immortality flourished in the Qin Dynasty in this world, the inheritance of ancient immortals actually dates back to the time of Emperor Huang. Guangchengzi was a disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun, who was the founder of Shinto and the supreme god of all gods. Guangchengzi combined Shintoism to create the way of immortals, that is, the way of immortals who cultivate the innate Qi. He was also the ancient Qi refiner. The essence of this was to continuously improve oneself and become "innate sacred". The process was to become an immortal, and the end was to become a god.

The same is true for Lady of the West. She is an even more ancient god. It is said that she came before the Queen Mother of the West and became the wife of Emperor Huang. As a result, she passed down the art of war and practiced dual cultivation with Emperor Huang, helping him to become an immortal.

In this method, it is stated that one should focus on cultivating the innate Qi and not cultivate anything else. There is no such thing as golden elixir, primordial infant, or yang spirit. Just the innate Qi, and continuously condense this thing.

But when it is called "innate qi", it is actually more like "ancestral spiritual light". The innate spiritual light is used as the innate sacredness, and then the innate sacredness is used to condense the innate qi. In this way, the innate spiritual light is nourished by the innate qi and gradually grows into the innate primordial spirit. The innate primordial spirit then constructs the innate Tao body and becomes the innate sacredness.

How to describe this method? It is more resource-intensive, more focused on one's own understanding, and it is difficult to see the realm. It belongs to the ancient cultivation method, which is more in line with the innate Shinto of Huangtian Sect. However, the innate Shinto of Huangtian Sect seems to be more advanced. One can first cultivate the acquired Shinto, with clear classes, and then turn to the innate Shinto.

Louguantai explains the complete hibernation technique left by the great ancestor Chen Tuan, which is a method of attaining enlightenment in a dream. By tempering the primordial spirit in a dream, one can reach the state of a celestial being. One can practice between sleep and breathing, and a dream can span a thousand years. When one wakes up, one will have practiced Taoism for a thousand years.

It’s just that this method is rather evil, as it communicates deeply with the Dharma Realm and it’s easy to lose oneself. Beginners may sleep for three or five days, and when they wake up it’s as if they have traveled through time. There are also earthly realms, where one may sleep for one or two hundred years, and when they wake up they find themselves sealed in a coffin.

There is actually no point in practicing like this. You spend most of your time sleeping and dreaming. When it’s time to exert effort, no one can find you…

Laozu Chen Tuan received instruction from Nanhua Zhenren, who was Zhuangzi. Zhuangzi had dreamed several times that he was a butterfly, and he lamented that he didn't know whether the butterfly dreamed of becoming him, or he dreamed of becoming a butterfly.

After sharing what they had, the two families left in a hurry to go back and verify their practice.

Master Zhi Cijing didn't want anything else and carefully explained Buddhism to Deng Yin. What she talked about was none other than the Shurangama Sutra, which is the best sutra for subduing demons.

"I was once also possessed by demonic obstacles, emotional obstacles, and was pregnant with a demonic fetus. I used the Lengyan Sutra to resolve the problem, and after that I had a daughter. After another calamity, I regained my virginity, which is how I achieved my current level of cultivation."
