Chapter 138 Scourge Legion
Violet Castle.

Antonidas shook his head. The old man said stubbornly, "I must stay here, not only because I have confidence in my new magic, but also because this is my home. I have lived here for decades, and everything I have is here."

"If I retreat as well, there will be no Dalaran.

And without Dalaran to stop the first wave of attacks, how could you possibly escape the Scourge with tens of thousands of people?"

"Don't worry, kid. I have confidence in my new magic. It is a magic circle specifically targeting the undead. To do this, I borrowed the power of the Violet Eye."

Jaina was silent. The teacher had grown old and stubborn. He was obsessed with his own ideas and would not listen to advice. This was also his persistence!

After all, he had gone through decades of ups and downs. At the age of 12, he obtained the Supreme Wisdom Ribbon of the Kirin Tor, confronted the demigod sorcerer Gul'dan head-on, and developed Dalaran into a magical kingdom, making Dalaran a holy place for mages in the entire eastern continent.

He has the reasons and strength to persevere.

Antonidas suddenly said, "I heard a rumor."

"This death knight suffered a great loss in Quel'Thalas. Its magical aura has weakened, which means it is injured."

"This proves that he is not invincible!"

"Well, my child, let's go! Take these people with you and open up new territories for mankind, and fulfill his last wish.

The territory we humans have today is also the result of generations of pioneers who have worked hard and fought arduously. There must be many hardships waiting for you there. You must set off tomorrow morning at the latest."

A hope suddenly rose in Jaina's heart. But when she thought of divine intervention, the terrifying figure she was facing, and the three portals, the flame of hope was extinguished in an instant.

Yes, there are not so many accidents. Being able to kill two demigod-level demons in a series of accidents is already an unheard-of miracle. Obviously, the news about the knife oil has spread.

There is only one person in history who has accomplished such a feat, and that is the "Guardian" that his teacher told him about privately, Magna Aegwynn.

If he were still alive, he would have returned to me long ago.

She extinguished that hope. After bowing to the teacher and leaving the study, Antonidas nodded and said goodbye to his student.

The next day, the sun rose high in the sky, but it could not illuminate the earth. A layer of dark undead sky covered the entire sky. The Lich King's death knight, Prince Arthas Menethil, came to this great city!

A group of ghouls rushed to the front, they were hideous and terrifying. Greedy saliva flowed from the corners of their mouths. Following closely was a group of banshees, they were spreading fear all the time. Behind them was a group of tall abominations, they were holding huge machetes, and the iron hook on the third arm was flashing cold light. Behind them were the necromancers standing in a square formation, they were wearing colorful robes and holding terrifying sheep-headed staffs in their hands.

Then the sky seemed to boil, and the gargoyles that covered the sky flew up into the sky. However, this was not the most terrifying thing. The boundless army of undead suddenly split into four squares. Four death knights riding undead warhorses, holding terrifying rune swords and wearing armor made of Saronite appeared!
The quadruple evil halos seemed to have injected souls into the undead, bringing them back to life and turning them into truly invincible natural disasters!

The four death knights were divided into two teams, facing each other, and raised their rune swords at the same time. Suddenly, the overwhelming undead began to kneel down on one knee from behind like a wave.

A knight slowly walked over from a distance, riding a tall and strange skeleton warhorse. The warhorse was covered in gorgeous armor, and its two wings made people feel that it could fly into the sky at any time.

This tall knight had white hair fluttering in the wind. His once handsome face had turned pale, with a strange morbid beauty. His eyes emitted a strong blue magical aura.

The most eye-catching thing is his right hand, in the hand with powerful enchanted armor, he holds a huge rune sword!
The blade was long and slender, with an extremely sharp blade on one side and a strange curved edge on the other. The blade was covered with blue runes, and the hilt was cast into a terrifying goat's head!

This sword has a terrifying name:

Frostmourne!
The knight held Frostmourne in his hand, and all the undead half-knelt to salute him, even the powerful lich following behind him!

Kel'Thuzad floats in the air, bound and strengthened by two strange chains. He has not had a good time lately. The dead king treats him much worse than in the book. He has given more power to his guards Falric and Marwyn. He also strengthened Norse himself and made him his magic advisor.

The prince was obviously not very confident about Kel'Thuzad because of Timmy's incident or other unknown factors.

Even though he was injured, he did not have much hatred towards Taelan Fordring. He even longed to compete with him again.

The only regret is that the great lord did not take Farina's soul away!
He glanced at an ugly banshee, the Banshee Queen - Farina.

What a masterpiece!
A flash of magic flashed, and the ban on spellcasting was lifted in Dalaran during the war. Four great wizards appeared on the city wall, led by Antonidas.

Archmage Antonidas used magic to amplify his voice and said to Arthas: "Arthas, is your father okay?"

Prince Arthas's face began to distort. He opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but the runes on the rune sword suddenly lit up.

"Very good!"

"I am Antonidas, the first death knight of the Lich King. There is no need to argue.

Hand over the Book of Medivh, and I will grant you a merciful death!"

The runes on the rune sword became brighter! The magic in the prince's eyes kept changing. His emotions seemed to be being drained away.

Antonidas looked at Arthas with a distorted face and said, "I'll be waiting for you here!"

The archmage waved his staff, and the crystal on the top of the staff emitted a magical glow.

"Then let us fight to the death!"

The arcane cannons on the walls of Dalaran began to fire. Each shot could wipe out the undead in an area. The newly appeared magic barrier set the undead approaching Dalaran on fire. But in the blink of an eye, they turned into skeletons and stood up again.

Antonidas saw Kel'Thuzad, who had become a lich. He shouted: "Kel'Thuzad, traitor! I hope you can fight me fair and square! Instead of hiding behind your king."

Kel'Thuzad did not stand up, but instead laughed.

"My king, that man's fiancée is in Dalaran, and she is about to escape. Why don't we kill her? That would kill two birds with one stone, and maybe we can defeat that man in one fell swoop!"

"His weakness is never in himself!"

Arthas's face became even more distorted. But he could not resist the rune sword. He raised the rune sword, and the undead sky behind him suddenly split open, and a huge frost dragon was summoned. It was so shocking. Unfortunately, it was just made of dragon bones, not a real dragon!
As it appeared, a breath of frost struck an arcane cannon in Dalaran, instantly silencing the turret.

The archlich Kel'Thuzad laughed again, hehe...ah!

Then there was a scream, and its breath instantly weakened.

Death Contract!

Arthas loosened his left hand, and the rune of dominance that lit up in Frostmourne dimmed.

Don't forget, it was me who resurrected you!
