Chapter 94: Winter Veil

The Winter Veil Festival in Azeroth is actually equivalent to the Spring Festival in Tyran Fordring's previous life. Or Christmas in the West, both are big festivals to bid farewell to the old and usher in the new!
This year is the first year that Taelan Fordring succeeded as the Lord of Hearthglen, so Kalandra decided to celebrate the arrival of the Feast of Winter Veil with great fanfare.

As the new Lord of Hearthglen, Taelan Fordring ordered the whole town to celebrate. A grand venue was set up in the central square of Hearthglen, and Paris was asked to transplant a large pine tree and hang gifts on it! Torches for the Feast of Winter Veil were also prepared and lit on time at nightfall.

For a moment, the entire Hearthglen was filled with a festive atmosphere.

The only regret was that Tirion Fordring could not go home. My mother had not seen my father for several months. They were apart more often than they were together, and now they were separated again after just six months of reunion.

Kalandra couldn't understand Tirion Fording's choice. She felt that Tirion shouldn't have saved the orc and let his son do such a dangerous thing. At the same time, she felt sorry for him living a secluded life alone.

Fortunately, Jaina came to Hearthglen. With the announcement of the Kul Tiras princess's love affair, Jaina has been invited to visit Hearthglen many times.

She legitimately took over the management of many of the Fording family's businesses and was invited to attend the celebrations of Hearthglen during the important festival of Winter Veil. Everyone had already tacitly accepted her as the future mistress of Hearthglen.

In fact, isn't it people who live? The Fording family has a mistress, which is a symbol of the family's prosperity. Tyran Fording has a high reputation in Hearthglen. Whether it is a woodcutter, a farmer, a soldier, or a priest, they all believe that Tyran Fording can lead everyone to live a good life.

It can be said that Hearthglen is the place with the best public security in the entire East Wilder.

The Knights of Karin would regularly clear out the gnoll gangs in the wild. When the Lord was on vacation at home, he would often take the princess hunting to eliminate the beasts that threatened the townspeople. The Lord especially loved barbecue, and sometimes they could get a share of it!

Soon, the sun sank below the horizon! The White Lady rose into the sky with the Blue Child, heralding the coming of the Feast of Winter Veil.

Taelan Fording gave a brief speech, and then said: "Now, please invite Miss Jenna to light the Winter Veil torches for us and distribute gifts to the children!"

Jaina raised her hands, and the arcane crystal hanging on her chest flashed, and a huge fireball appeared between her hands. Then the fireball slowly flew over and lit the Winter Veil torch! This move made Tyran Fordring look at her with new eyes.

This proved that Jaina's mysticism had made great progress. She had mastered the power of the arcane and was considered a mid-level mage.

The torches were burning brightly and the whole audience burst into warm applause. Everyone was cheering for the future hostess of Hearthglen!
She will surely become a powerful wizard and the protector of Hearthglen! I think when she comes of age, she will build a wizard tower in Hearthglen.

Then Taelan Fording asked Alton and Paris to distribute cakes, snacks and some game to everyone, while Jaina distributed gifts to the children under the tree.

After distributing the gifts, Tyran Fordring took Jaina's hand and climbed up to the Mardenhold Fortress in the moonlight. They leaned against each other, looking at the twin moons of Azeroth and whispering. Today's moon was particularly big. The two silently made a wish to the moon.

Jaina playfully used a strand of hair to tickle Tyran Fording's cheek! Tyran Fording put his arm around her waist. The two slowly approached each other. Tyran Fording held Jaina's lips for a long time before they separated!
"Janna, we will face many difficult situations in the future, and I will always think of you! Promise me that you will live well."

Jaina looked at him strangely: How could such a powerful man like him also encounter difficulties? In her impression, he was never afraid of facing any difficulties. No matter what the difficulties were, he could always find a way to solve them.

"Did you encounter any powerful enemies during your trip to Kalimdor?"

"Yes, an unknown ancient dark empire."

"But not now. It hasn't escaped from the cage yet. When it escapes from the cage, the catastrophe will begin."

Jaina suddenly seemed to remember something. She leaned her head on Taelan Fording's shoulder and said, "Oh, right. I heard that Archmage Kel'Thuzad has been madly studying Holy Light spells recently. He doesn't believe that he can't compare to an apprentice who has only studied magic for four years."

Does this change Kel'Thuzad's fate?
Jaina continued, "He failed! It turns out that people are more likely to succeed in areas they are good at." "During that time, the little goblin had to endure the teacher's bad temper. He was good at Transfiguration, and all he learned were spells of Evocation."

Taelan Fording said: "Sometimes, choice is more important than hard work. Not everything in the world can go as planned."

"By the way, I'm going to send my mother to Stratholme to reunite with my father in a few days. Then let's go to Kul Tiras!"

"really?"

Jaina was always conflicted about going home. Her father, Daelin, was a very eccentric person. He sailed on the sea all year round and rarely came home, leaving Lady Catherine alone to guard Kul Tiras.

He was very patient with outsiders, but never communicated seriously with his family, just like he never brought his daughter with him, but adopted Talia Fortagan.

Such people often find it difficult to gain the understanding of their families. So Jaina likes to stay in Hearthglen very much.

"I have to go to Kul Tiras to show my face. Tandre invited me when he sent me to Tanaris. I think Aunt Catherine and Tandre are the only two people in Proudmoore Stronghold right now."

"Maybe she's the only one."

"She must be lonely too!"

Jaina kissed Taelan Fordring gratefully.

"Okay! We'll go back and take a look after a while. I haven't been back for two years."

Jaina has mixed feelings about Kul Tiras. It is her hometown, the place where she was born, and her home. But she doesn't like some people there. Leaving there makes her feel like she has escaped from a cage and gained freedom.

However, whenever I woke up in the middle of the night, I couldn't help but miss my mother. I didn't know what my mother was doing, whether she was preparing for the ceremony, or pretending to be nice to those people, or just sleeping.

Did Tandre go out to drink with the crew? Why didn't his father come home? Was it really more important to wipe out those pirates than to reunite with his family?
My eldest brother passed away many years ago, but the pain he brought to this family still exists. I shouldn't have named his boat "Goddess of Waves".

She suddenly thought that the waves rose and fell, sometimes appearing and sometimes disappearing, and this name was really unlucky.

Tandre's flagship is about to be launched, and he must give it a nicer name when he returns. But his luck seems to be very bad!

According to Taelan, Tandre was going to the harbor to wait for them to board the ship, but he waited for the red dragon instead. He was sprayed by the dragon's breath and his butt caught fire. Fortunately, he jumped into the sea in time and was rescued by the Tide Sage.

This time he must give his boat a more auspicious name.

Why not just call it "Song of the Ocean"?

If Taelan Fordring knew this, he would definitely say: Please don't.

It is said that the world may actually be coming back! The Planeswalker also announced it. I can play chess again.

I hope this melon stays ripe!
