Chapter 11 Strong Enemy
"when!"

Reinhardt's sword struck a bone spur.

"I said, you should have seen my pet."

The shrill sound rang out again, and several zombies slowly walked out of the forest, carrying a sedan chair on their shoulders, with a fat man sitting on it.

"Those little mice are so cute. You must have seen them."

The zombies carried the sedan chair and slowly approached Reinhardt and his companions.

"Haven't you seen it? That shouldn't be the case. You clearly smell like those little cuties."

The man leaned forward slightly and sniffed hard.

"Yes, you must have seen my little cuties."

The man's voice became harsher.

Reinhardt took a step forward, trying to rush towards the man in the sedan chair, but after only two steps, he stumbled and fell to the ground.

A rotten head broke out of the ground and bit Reinhardt's calf.

The man's sharp howl echoed all around, and the sound was like a sharp nail, stirring in Reinhardt's mind.

The zombies had already put the sedan chair on the ground, ready to kill the two.

Reinhardt couldn't move.

The crossbow arrow stopped in front of the man, and a zombie beside him grabbed the arrow steadily.

Reinhardt recognized this first-level necromancy spell. The spell was not of high level, but for those warriors with well-developed limbs, this kind of spell that attacks the mind was the most difficult to guard against.

"They are all such cute little guys..."

The man seemed a little tired, and his originally harsh voice became a little lower. He waved his hand. A zombie leaned forward slightly under his control, and then, accompanied by a burst of air, the next moment, the zombie appeared in front of Lania.

With a severe headache, Reinhardt even had difficulty thinking. The arms holding his ankles were still trying hard to lift his body up.

"How to do?"

"Why don't you answer me? Do you look down on me too?"

However, this sudden attack still interrupted the man's spell. The spell "Banshee Howl" requires continuous casting, and just now, he had to control the zombies to block the crossbow arrows.

We will definitely lose if we continue like this.

This was no ordinary human howl.

Reinhardt struggled to get up, but the howling continued. Under the influence of the spell, he could not control his body well.

The man's expression turned ferocious, and then, before Reinhardt could react, several rotten arms burst out of the ground and grabbed his ankles.

But the sword in his hand was able to move, and the next moment, the rotten head was nailed to the ground by the sword, and the hand that was holding Reinhardt's ankle loosened.

A crossbow arrow flew past Reinhardt and shot at the man in the sedan.

"Banshee's Wail."

"Could it be that you are the ones who killed my lovely pets?"

"So fast……"

Lannia had no time to react before she saw the zombie's claws smashing down on her.

"Can't escape!"

Lannia could only barely make a blocking gesture, but she knew that she could not block the attack.

But the expected severe pain did not come.

"Don't just stand there, run, we can't beat this guy."

A shield blocked the zombie's claws, and Reinhardt finally regained full mobility.

But it was clear that this zombie was even more powerful. His claws seemed to be waving randomly, but every time Reinhardt blocked his attack, he had to take a step or two back to completely relieve the force. The zombie suddenly staggered, and two crossbow arrows shot through his knees.

Reinhardt finally got a chance to catch his breath. He retreated and pulled a bottle off his belt. Without any hesitation, he threw the bottle at the zombie in front of him.

This was the last bottle of holy water in his hand. As the bottle broke, the holy water spilled onto the zombies, making a crackling sound.

This zombie is at least level five in strength. The cheap holy water that Reinhardt bought is not enough to kill him, but it can still weaken this undead creature in a short period of time.

Following the holy water came the long sword in Reinhardt's hand.

The long sword pierced the zombie's head that was weakened by the holy water. After twitching twice, the zombie in front of him fell down.

"You, you are indeed the villains who killed my pet!"

The shrill and ear-piercing howling sound reverberated around them again, and the familiar pain came back. This time, the remaining three zombies moved at the same time.

Although Reinhardt was somewhat accustomed to the piercing howls due to his previous experience, it was still impossible for him to fight under such circumstances.

Not to mention fighting against these three opponents who are stronger than him.

After the first encounter, Reinhardt had two more wounds on his body. Fortunately, the sword in his hand was not affected by the wailing and helped him block the claw attack aimed at his forehead, otherwise Reinhardt would be lying on the ground now.

Two crossbow arrows flew towards the fat man again. Lanya wanted to use the same trick again to interrupt the fat man's spell.

But although the man acted crazy, he was not stupid. Two bone shields appeared out of thin air and blocked the crossbow arrows.

"then."

Lania realized that she could not play any role in this battle. She tore off her necklace and threw it towards Reinhardt in the distance.

"A magic item of mental protection?"

Reinhardt, who caught the necklace, felt his brain become clear, and the pain that came with the howling disappeared. Reinhardt wrapped the necklace around his arm. The wailing could no longer affect him.

But in contrast, now, Lania has to endure the pain that Reinhardt had endured before.

Reinhardt used his shield to block the attacks of three zombies.

"It's worthy of being the dragon's collection. If it were my previous shield, it would have been broken long ago."

With this attack, Reinhard retreated to Lania's side.

She was biting her lip, shaking all over, enduring the waves of pain in her head. It seemed that she was unable to move.

"If this continues, you will all die."

The sword in Reinhardt's hand spoke.

"I know."

After the long sword in his hand opened, the three zombies stopped moving. The fat man looked at the long sword in Reinhardt's hand with shining eyes.

"Soul weapon."

He even stopped the banshee's wailing.

"Give it to me, and I will not pursue the crime of killing my pet."

The sharp voice was filled with greed, but Reinhardt ignored him.

"How long?"

"Well, he probably won't die within three minutes, but he'll have to lie in bed for a while to recover."

Reinhardt held the sword in his hand with the same nonchalant tone.

"Then do it. Just don't let me die."

As soon as he finished speaking, Reinhardt's aura changed.
