Chapter 10 Muddle through
"Barbecue...barbecue...barbecue for the master."

Fari looked at the foot of the mountain in the distance and saw that the goblins had already set up a simple camp.

A small group of goblins, led by the dragon-born goblin, respectfully carried a large pile of roasted meat to the outside of Farui's lair.

The dragonborn goblin knelt on the ground, and the goblins behind him followed his example and prostrated themselves on the ground.

The goblin tribe led by this dragon-born goblin is a little different.

In Fari's opinion, goblins are of low intelligence, disorganized, greedy, cowardly, selfish, and smelly. They can only live in dirty and simple camps and lead a life of eating raw meat and drinking blood.

And these goblins in front of us can actually use fire to roast meat!

"Maybe these goblins can be of some use..."

Thinking this, Farui picked up the barbecue on the ground and took a bite.

“It’s quite delicious!”

"We can give these goblins some shelter."

"Five hundred and twenty-one, five hundred and twenty-two... a few more gold coins?"

"One... two..."

Although some goblins kept messing up the tasks at hand due to their low individual abilities, the work at hand was still progressing quickly with the help of other goblins on the team.

The backs of a small group of cavalrymen in front are slowly moving away.

Fary turned around and slowly walked deeper into the cave. He was looking forward to seeing how many surprises these goblins could bring him, and maybe he could help them a little bit next time.

He waved his hand and let the dragon-born goblin leave with his men.

Fari felt a sense of accomplishment in his heart. Although he did not do anything, watching his servants slowly build a nest, he felt as if he also had a share of the credit.

But this camp is undoubtedly getting better.

But now, Fari, who has been "tired" for a day, just wants to lie on his few treasures and count the gold coins.

Although some huts were built crookedly, although some goblin wounds split open after being bandaged, and although some goblin hunters didn't catch any prey in the end.

Fari remembered the amount of his property very clearly. He had twenty-one more gold coins than before.

With a feeling of happiness at having more wealth, Fari fell asleep.

Reinhardt, the hero who increased his gold coins, was now hiding in the shadows, not daring to make a sound.

Especially after the dragon-born goblin returned, under his command, the efficiency of the goblins was significantly improved.

Sleepiness slowly came over me.

In the goblin camp in the distance, everything seemed so orderly. Some goblins had been organized and went into the forest at the foot of the mountain to hunt. Some were building new houses under the leadership of a small leader. Some female goblins were treating the wounds of the wounded.

"That guy called Reinhardt is working really hard."

Before daybreak, the goblin settlement had already been built in an orderly manner.

This is the best bedtime entertainment for dragons.

Only a little salt was added to the roasted meat, but the aroma of the fat was fully roasted. These goblins have begun to do some research on this aspect of eating.

Even though most of the pursuers were attracted to another direction by the middle-aged gentleman, there were still a small number of soldiers patrolling in Reinhard's direction.

Probably just in case, the commander of the other party's operation this time is a cautious guy, and there will be no shortage of sentries and patrol soldiers on the road ahead.

"Let's go, that guy."

The girl who was on guard in the other direction heard Reinhard's voice and followed him silently.

"Well, you can always tell me your name, right?"

Reinhardt and his companion were moving in the shadows. Time was running out and dawn was not far away. They had to try to leave the patrol range of the city guards before dawn.

"I can't keep calling you that person."

"Lanya."

Reinhardt finally knew the girl's name. He seemed to have heard this name somewhere before, but he couldn't remember it for a moment. After all, he had just arrived in this kingdom, and although he had done some homework before, he couldn't remember the names of all the important people in this kingdom.

"stop."

There was another sentry post ahead. Although it was only a small one, there were only four soldiers on duty. The two of them had already dealt with two of these small sentry posts before. With the cooperation of the girl, Reinhardt could easily deal with these level one soldiers.

They didn't even have a chance to sound the alarm.

But this outpost was slightly different. The previous team of cavalry was resting and replenishing supplies here. With such a large number of enemies, even if they launched a surprise attack, there was no guarantee that they would not sound the alarm.

"Why are they still drinking?"

The soldiers at the sentry post brought out tables and chairs, and soon placed wine and meat on them.

"Aren't you going to patrol to the border of the territory?"

"Hey, forget it. Everyone we were chasing ran in another direction. We don't even know why we were sent here."

"Who are you chasing? Why is there so much noise?"

"Who knows? Anyway, I was told to fire a signal flare if I see a middle-aged man with an adventure team."

Over the wine and meat, the cavalrymen chatted with the sentry soldiers. It seemed that they planned to stay here until dawn.

Reinhardt and the others can't wait until dawn.

"By the way, they only mentioned the middle-aged man and the adventuring team."

Reinhardt noticed the conversation between the soldiers. They didn't seem to know who they were chasing, and they didn't mention the girl next to them.

"You don't mean to..."

Reinhard nodded, walked out of the shadow where he was hiding, and walked towards the sentry post in front as if nothing had happened.

The girl hesitated for a moment, gritted her teeth, and followed.

"Stop, who is it?"

The two walked less than twenty steps away from the sentry post before they were discovered by the soldiers who were drinking and singing. A soldier came over and stopped the two.

"We are adventurers who have just arrived in this kingdom."

The cavalry captain glanced at the two of them and then turned his attention back to the cigarettes and alcohol on the table.

"Certificate."

Reinhard handed over his adventurer certificate.

"Her?"

The soldier looked through Reinhardt's certificate, glanced at Lania from the corner of his eye, and asked casually.

Lanya's hand quietly moved towards the crossbow at her waist, but was held down by Reinhardt without leaving a trace.

"Hey, don't mention it. I accepted the mission to clean up the ogres today. I finally defeated them, but her certificate disappeared at some point."

"Then you are very unlucky."

"is not that right."

The soldier checked the certificate and returned it to Reinhardt.

"No problem, let's go."

Reinhard and the other man walked into the sentry post. The soldiers were drinking wine and chatting, and no one paid any attention to them.

Reinhardt finally relaxed a little until the sentry post completely disappeared into the horizon behind him.

But suddenly, the sword in his hand moved and slashed behind him.

"Excuse me, have you seen my little pet?"
