Chapter 8 "Invaders"

Fari turned over and shook the gold coins on his body onto the ground.

Suddenly, Fari twitched his nose and woke up.

It seemed that some creature had invaded his territory.

There are quite a few creatures, probably several hundred.

Fari got up reluctantly. He couldn't just ignore this large-scale invasion. If he didn't do anything about it, he might be considered a pushover by the neighbors and there would be a lot of trouble later.

Fari soon arrived above the invaders.

The invaders are a group of goblins.

Not far away, the goblins' lair was burning with fire, and it seemed that the goblins below were all the survivors.

Among these survivors there were many female and young goblins, which was quite unusual. Goblins, such a selfish race, did not abandon these burdens at the first opportunity.

Fari in the sky could see clearly that the target of this small group of goblins' attack was the skeleton archers.

"Let's wait until they've almost finished fighting before we go down and clean up the mess."

"Gah!"

Behind these survivors are the pursuing undead creatures.

Indeed, as long as those skeleton archers can be eliminated, the survival rate of these fleeing goblins will be much higher.

"Zara Valley Bud!"

"At this rate, none of these goblins will be able to escape."

The goblins screamed, and just as Farui had expected, the attack did not have much effect.

The line of zombies only fluctuated slightly when it was hit. The goblins successfully chopped down a few zombies, and then they were overwhelmed by the zombies.

For Fari, he must be lazy whenever he can.

"what!"

In the distance, the skeleton archers slowly pulled out another arrow from the quiver and put it on the string.

After a rain of arrows, there were twenty or thirty goblin corpses on the ground.

Skeletons, zombies, and quite a few goblins that had just come back from the dead.

But Fari didn't mind letting these invaders kill each other for a while. After all, this would save him a lot of trouble later.

The goblin who led the charge was eventually overwhelmed by the zombies. Fary circled twice in the air, ready to eliminate these invaders.

However, the skeleton shooters were all protected by the zombies. It was impossible for the goblins to rush in front of the skeleton shooters, and most of them would die on the way.

Farui was watching the battle below from the air. No matter if it was the goblins or those undead creatures, they were all invaders to him, and invaders had to die.

"ended."

"It's kind of interesting, but it's just suicide."

An exceptionally tall goblin stood up, and at his call, several goblins in tattered leather armor stood beside him. Then, this small group of goblins rushed towards the pursuers behind them.

"Flames, erupting."

There were sharp cries of goblins from below, but unlike the previous goblin dialects that were completely incomprehensible to him, this time the language was something that Fari could understand - Dragon Language.

A fierce burst of flames knocked over a group of zombies. The goblin who led the charge stood up from the ground, surrounded by flames, and rushed towards the skeleton archer in front again.

"Dragonborn? Or goblins? The dragons on these continents are so versatile?"

Fary felt a chill in his heart, he truly felt the diversity of species.

But the goblin below was worthy of the name of Dragonborn. With an indomitable momentum, he killed his way through the line of zombies and was about to rush to the front of the skeleton archers.

If his enemy was a human army, this momentum would be enough to make them panic, waver, and cause chaos.

But the creatures facing him were undead. These creatures would not be afraid and would not waver. The skeleton archers drew their bows and strings in an orderly manner.

Dozens of arrows were shot at the goblin. The flames surrounding him blew away some arrows, but a few arrows still penetrated the gaps in the flames and pierced into the goblin's body.

The flames disappeared, and the goblin fell to his knees helplessly.

"Flame, obey my command..."

Arrow after arrow pierced the goblin's body, interrupting him.

"A corpse of a dragonborn, but unfortunately it's a goblin." Surrounded by undead creatures, the necromancer walked out impatiently.

This can be considered an unexpected surprise. The corpse of a dragonborn is a considerable property for any necromancer.

"flame……"

The goblin raised his head with difficulty. The necromancer was frightened and stepped back repeatedly, controlling the undead creatures to stand in front of him.

The flames reignited and rushed towards the Necromancer, but dissipated before reaching its target.

The goblin knelt on the ground, unconscious.

"What a jerk! You scared me."

The Necromancer, still in shock, walked up cursing, staff raised, ready to turn the goblin in front of him into a real corpse.

"go to hell!"

The necromancy energy condensed on the staff, and the wizard's mouth curled up into an evil smile.

Then, fire came from the sky and engulfed him.

Fari landed slowly.

"Okay, this landing was perfect."

Muttering quietly, Farui glanced around.

The undead creature that lost its master has returned to the embrace of death, while the goblins on the other side huddled together, looking at Fari falling from the sky in horror.

Fari walked up to the dragonborn goblin.

He is still alive for the time being.

Farri stretched out his claws towards the dragonborn goblin.

A stone hit his paw.

"You are not allowed to... harm the leader."

The stone was thrown by a goblin child. The remaining goblins pointed their broken spears and swords at Farui.

The hands holding their weapons trembled with fear, but they did not flee like the ordinary goblins.

"interesting."

There was a flash of magic light on Farui's claws, and the restoration spell was cast on the dragon goblin.

"Although he is only a goblin, he has not brought shame to the dragon blood."

Most dragons are greedy, cunning, cruel, and insidious creatures, but they are all proud and proud of being dragons.

Farui is now a hundred-year-old young dragon. Although he sleeps most of the time, the pride that comes from his blood still affects him.

Faced with a goblin who is a descendant of the dragon clan and has worthy of the dragon bloodline, most dragons would be happy to give some help.

The goblin in front of him woke up under the effect of the recovery spell.

"Okay, you guys..."

Fari is in a good mood now and decides to mercifully let these goblins live.

"I won't kill them all this time. Just drive them out."

Fari thought so. As a dragon, this was indeed a very merciful act.
"Great dragon, we are willing to be your servants."

The waking goblin looked around and the dead undead lying on the ground made him realize his situation. Without saying a word, he prostrated himself on the ground.

"Ok?"

Farrell was stunned.

When the other goblins saw what their leader did, they also fell to the ground.

"Your servants have indeed overstepped their bounds. Slave, we are willing to be your slaves."

The goblin seemed to have misunderstood Fary's daze, and he lowered his head even lower.

"Having a bunch of servants doesn't seem like a bad thing?"
