The four major space agencies seem to represent the evolution of today's multipolar world structure.

Among the trinity of nuclear power, the most difficult one is the strategic nuclear submarine, because it is underwater, not easy to detect, and is hidden, making it difficult to defend against.

Among the secondary nuclear strike forces, the most survivable are strategic nuclear submarines.

The third-generation tactical attack nuclear submarines and strategic missile nuclear submarines will have larger tonnage, better silent effects, improved internal working and living environments, deeper diving depths, and longer self-sustaining capabilities.

This also means that breakthroughs must be made in many aspects based on the original foundation.

Deeper diving means new breakthroughs in materials so that the hull can withstand stronger underwater pressure under the same mass.

A larger tonnage means that the nuclear power needs to be more powerful at the same speed.

Stronger silent capability requires further improvement in submarine shape design, propellers, etc.

It is precisely because the requirements for the third-generation nuclear submarines are higher that the design of the third-generation nuclear submarines has not been completed until now.

Liu Tao did not rush to develop the third-generation nuclear submarine because he was just one person with limited abilities and experience. China not only needed him, but also needed a complete research and development capability so that it could continuously improve generation after generation.
