However, even the export version has reached the standard of third-generation fighter jets in terms of performance.

It will not be like some countries that have no bottom line, and the export version will be weakened to the level of the second and a half generation.

The so-called J-11B fighter is a two-seat model developed on the basis of the J-11A fighter. Because the J-11B fighter is a two-seat fighter, part of it can be used as a trainer and can train novice pilots, which is also a major reason for the existence of two-seat fighters.

In addition, because a two-seat fighter has two pilots, they have an extra brain, two eyes, etc. when performing complex tasks, making it easier to complete difficult and complex operations.

Even in air combat missions, two pilots of a two-seat fighter have considerable advantages when fighting or fighting beyond visual range because they can perform their respective duties. For example, the observation ability of two pilots in a dogfight is much better than that of one person, and they can capture the enemy's movements in a timely manner.

At the same time, when performing ground attack missions to break through local air defense systems, two pilots are more conducive to operating multiple links from flight control, communication command, electronic warfare, to the use of air-to-ground weapons. Usually, the rear-seat pilot of this type of fighter is responsible for operating navigation, weapon management system, etc., while the front-seat pilot is responsible for concentrating on flying in complex environments.

Of course, with the development of fighter technology, two-seater models will be less and less needed in the future, because one pilot can complete it with the help of highly automated fighter systems, and this is also an inevitable development trend.

In the future, fourth-generation fighter jets will only require single-seat models.

After all, the advantage of a single-seat fighter is simple: it does not require a second set of pilot environmental support systems, such as feed and pressurization, and the limited space on the aircraft can be used more to carry weapons, fuel, equipment, etc., rather than to accommodate a second pilot. When carrying the same weapons, fuel, and equipment, a single-seat fighter can be smaller than a two-seat fighter.

But as the saying goes, a single move affects the entire body, and the impact is in all aspects.

Only when it is theoretically confirmed that there are no problems will the prototype be manufactured.

Otherwise, if there are problems in the technical demonstration stage, the prototype manufactured will inevitably have many problems.

Once a prototype is made, it cannot be modified at will. The cost of making a prototype is tens of millions.

Even though Panshan Group is a large and powerful company, it cannot afford such casual waste and chaos.

Liu Tao is also very concerned about the improvement of the J-11 fighter, because the J-11 fighter will be China's most advanced fighter in the future, the main fighter of the Air Force, and has the strongest combat capability.

Before the birth of the fourth-generation fighter jets, the J-11 fighter jet was the trump card of the Chinese Air Force.
