Chapter 807 J-11 improvement plan?

Guifei Group.

The outline of the huge 011 aviation base is now visible.

With huge amounts of money invested and a large number of construction workers and equipment mobilized, the construction speed is very fast.

Many factories have been completed.

Especially in the dormitory area, all the relocated employees have moved in.

It only takes a few more years for the entire 011 Air Base to be completed.

The safety here is beyond doubt.

Located in the heart of China, the safety factor here is very high.

It’s not easy to attack here.

The Flight Test Institute has also been set up in a proper manner and the team has been initially established.

There is also the Institute of Aeronautics, where research will be conducted exclusively.

When Liu Tao arrived at Guizhou Aircraft Industry Group, Guizhou Aircraft Industry Group was delivering a new batch of aircraft to the troops.

There are the J-7A advanced trainer aircraft, the Eagle advanced trainer aircraft, the "Ray Eagle" helicopter, and the J-11 fighter jet.

The first batch of J-11 fighter jets were delivered to the troops for service last year and have been highly praised by the troops so far. Their excellent performance, strong combat capability, advanced avionics system, power system and weapon system have made the J-11 fighter jets a star in the Air Force as soon as they entered the troops.

Those who can fly the J-11 fighter jet now are undoubtedly the elites in the Air Force. Only those who have undergone a series of assessments and training and have excellent results can fly the J-11 fighter jet.

As for the J-7A advanced trainer and the J- Eagle advanced trainer, they are used as trainer aircraft to train pilots.

In addition to being delivered to the troops, the J-7A advanced trainer aircraft, the Eagle advanced trainer aircraft and the export version of the J-11 fighter will be delivered to customers in batches.

But the delivery volume is still relatively small.

This is also the norm when ordering aircraft. The delivery cycle will be relatively long and delayed delivery is commonplace.

Moreover, the procurement of fighter jets is often a seller's market, with sellers occupying a strong dominant position.

Although the delivery volume is very small now, it does not prevent Panshan Group from arranging training for its customers' pilots.

The training alone will take at least a year.

At first, you will fly advanced trainer aircraft, and only after reaching a certain level will you be able to fly the J-10 and J-11 fighter jets.

Of course, these foreign pilots are not flying the domestic version of the J-10 and J-11 fighter jets, but the export version.

The self-use version and the export version are exactly the same in appearance and have similar functions, but there is still a gap in performance.

However, even the export version has reached the standard of third-generation fighter jets in terms of performance.

It will not be like some countries that have no bottom line, and the export version will be weakened to the level of the second and a half generation.

Guizhou Aircraft Industry Group now has 10 export versions of the J-10 alone.

However, Liu Tao came this time not for the delivery of fighter jets, but to participate in the J-11B fighter technical program seminar.

The so-called J-11B fighter is a two-seat model developed on the basis of the J-11A fighter. Because the J-11B fighter is a two-seat fighter, part of it can be used as a trainer and can train novice pilots, which is also a major reason for the existence of two-seat fighters.

In addition, because a two-seat fighter has two pilots, they have an extra brain, two eyes, etc. when performing complex tasks, making it easier to complete difficult and complex operations.

Even in air combat missions, two pilots of a two-seat fighter have considerable advantages when fighting or fighting beyond visual range because they can perform their respective duties. For example, the observation ability of two pilots in a dogfight is much better than that of one person, and they can capture the enemy's movements in a timely manner.

At the same time, when performing ground attack missions to break through local air defense systems, two pilots are more conducive to operating multiple links from flight control, communication command, electronic warfare, to the use of air-to-ground weapons. Usually, the rear-seat pilot of this type of fighter is responsible for operating navigation, weapon management system, etc., while the front-seat pilot is responsible for concentrating on flying in complex environments.

Of course, with the development of fighter technology, two-seater models will be less and less needed in the future, because one pilot can complete it with the help of highly automated fighter systems, and this is also an inevitable development trend.

In the future, fourth-generation fighter jets will only require single-seat models.

After all, the advantage of a single-seat fighter is simple: it does not require a second set of pilot environmental support systems, such as feed and pressurization, and the limited space on the aircraft can be used more to carry weapons, fuel, equipment, etc., rather than to accommodate a second pilot. When carrying the same weapons, fuel, and equipment, a single-seat fighter can be smaller than a two-seat fighter.

The J-11E and J-11F are export versions, the only difference is that one is a single-seat and the other is a two-seat.

If it is based on its own improved version and reaches the level of a third-generation and a half fighter, or is close to the level of a fourth-generation fighter, then the letters will be continued.

And the entire improvement work will last for thirty or even forty years!
This is an advanced fighter jet with a lot of room for improvement, allowing the team to continue to make improvements.

For the J-11 fighter improvement team, their mission and role is not to develop new fighter jets, but to continuously improve the J-11 fighter jets.

The same situation also exists in the J-10 fighter development team.

This meeting was about the J-11B fighter jet.

It looks like it just becomes a two-seater, and the changes are not big.

But as the saying goes, a single move affects the entire body, and the impact is in all aspects.

For example, whether the aircraft engine has sufficient power, whether the avionics system is interfered with, etc.

These all require technical discussion and verification.

Only when it is theoretically confirmed that there are no problems will the prototype be manufactured.

Otherwise, if there are problems in the technical demonstration stage, the prototype manufactured will inevitably have many problems.

Once a prototype is made, it cannot be modified at will. The cost of making a prototype is tens of millions.

Even though Panshan Group is a large and powerful company, it cannot afford such casual waste and chaos.

Liu Tao is also very concerned about the improvement of the J-11 fighter, because the J-11 fighter will be China's most advanced fighter in the future, the main fighter of the Air Force, and has the strongest combat capability.

Before the birth of the fourth-generation fighter jets, the J-11 fighter jet was the trump card of the Chinese Air Force.

Although the Chinese Air Force is equipped with two heavy fighters, the F14 and F15 fighters, the performance of these two fighters is not weak, but the fighters have a service life and will eventually be retired.

The J-11 fighter is a completely domestically produced third-generation heavy fighter, which is bound to support the blue sky of the Republic and safeguard the security of China's airspace.

The number of J-11 fighter jets may not be as large as that of J-10 fighter jets, but the importance of J-11 fighter jets is undoubtedly greater than that of J-10 fighter jets!
