"Xiang" said: There is water on the ground, than.The first king built all nations and pro-princes.

Translation Bigua: auspicious.It is necessary to make a decision (whether to attach or not) after investigation and research. (If the person attached to) has the virtue of respecting the elders, can remain unchanged for a long time, and can stick to the right way, there will be no disasters.Unsatisfactory states have also come to attach themselves, and the latecomers will be in danger.

"Zhuan Zhuan" said: It is auspicious to compare the hexagrams.Bi means to assist, subordinates obey their superiors. "Decisions are made after investigation and research, and those who are attached to have the virtue of respecting the elders, can remain unchanged for a long time, can stick to the right way, and will not have disasters."Because the Ninth Five Line is in the middle of the upper hexagram, it symbolizes that the king has the virtue of integrity. "The uneasy princes come to court", because all the yin lines surround a yang line, which symbolizes that all the princes support the dynasty. "It will be difficult for those who are delayed", because the situation is very passive.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: There is water on the ground, which symbolizes attachment.Therefore, the ancient kings feudalized all countries and got close to the princes.

Interpretation: The top of the hexagram is kan and water, and the bottom is kun and earth.There is water on the ground, and the water is moist, soaking into the ground. This phenomenon symbolizes "attachment" ("bi").The ancient kings were inspired by seeing the image of relative comparison, and took the method of water attaching to the earth, and the earth accepting the image of rivers, so as to get close to the princes of the world by dividing feudalism and establishing a country. The most important thing to interpret intimacy with others is to have integrity and gain trust.Treat people with sincerity, and people must reciprocate with sincerity.Integrity is indeed a major rule in dealing with interpersonal relationships, which is what Yao Ci said, "There is a comparison with others".If you can "have Fu Ying Fou", full of integrity, like a crock full of fine wine, full of sincerity, not only can you avoid blame, but you will even get unexpected benefits in the end ("taji"). "Xiang Zhuan" further pointed out that the importance of "compared to the sixth day" is because the early stage of attachment can better reflect sincerity.

Sixty-two: Compared with oneself, Zhenji.

"Xiang" said: "Compared to the inside, don't lose yourself."

Translation Sixty-two: From the inside, adhere to the righteous way and you will get auspicious.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: Attachment from the inside shows that the proper relationship has not been lost.

Interpretation In line with the principle of good faith, you start to start from the side, to be intimate and appease internally, and to do a good job of internal unity and harmony.

Six three: compared to bandits.

"Xiang" said: Compared with bandits, isn't it also hurt?

Translation [-]: Want to get close but not get someone.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: Wouldn't it be a sad thing to attach yourself to someone else?
Deciphering the establishment of an intimate relationship requires both subjective effort and basic objective conditions.If the conditions are not met, although it is sad, it is impossible to make a judgment on good or bad.When the conditions are immature, you can wait for the time to change.

Translation Six Fourth: If you are close to the outside world and stick to the right way, you will get auspiciousness.

Interpretation In the hexagram symbolizing the relationship of kinship, it is an auspicious sign to be attached to a sage from the outside.However, Yao Ci also specifically reminds to stick to the righteous way, otherwise I am afraid it will be suspected of flattery.

Ninth Five: Significant ratio.The king uses three drives, loses the front poultry, and the people of the town do not warn, auspicious.

"Xiang" said: "The auspiciousness of the comparison is the right position."Give up the reverse and take the smooth, and lose the former bird.If the people of the town do not command, the envoys are also in the middle.

Translation Nine Five: An upright relative.The king chased the siege on three sides while hunting, and let go on the other side, allowing the animals in front to escape.There is no special warning to the subordinates.auspicious.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: An upright relative is auspicious, because the ninety-five places are right.Abandon the disobedient and accommodate the obedient, so let the beasts ahead escape.He also did not give special warnings to the subordinates, indicating that the emperor practiced the middle way.

In the interpretation of Yao Ci, the king hunts as a metaphor.When the king hunted, he only set up a perimeter from three sides to drive away the prey; he opened a net in front, allowing the animals to escape at will.The king should do the same with the people who are close to him. He will not reject those who come, and he will not pursue those who go. Those who obey will take him in, and those who disobey will let him go.It means that people all over the world treat people equally, and don't adopt it because they come to get close to themselves, and don't alienate others because they keep a distance from themselves. They must practice the middle way.This is the aboveboard "Xianbi", which is of course a complete "auspicious" without any strings attached.
