Thinking and Suspicious Learning Method
As early as the Spring and Autumn Period, the great educator Confucius put forward the viewpoint: "Learning without thinking will lead to death, and thinking without learning will lead to death." Among the five links of "erudition", "interrogation", "serious thinking", "discrimination" and "practice earnestly" in "The Doctrine of the Mean", the essence of three links is thinking.Zhu Xi elaborated the idea of being more thoughtful and suspicious: "Those who have no doubts in reading need to be taught and have doubts, but those who have doubts should be doubted. Only here can we grow." The view that "small doubts lead to small progress, and big doubts lead to great progress".

(Dai Zhen doubts) Dai Zhen was a famous university student in the Qing Dynasty. When he was a child, he had the spirit of daring to question and seek the bottom line. In Wang Chang's epitaph for him, there is such a record:
When he was ten years old, he was taught, and he received the "Daxue Zhangju" up to "Chapter 2000 of the Right Classic". He asked his school teacher, "How do you know that this is what Confucius said and Zeng Zi described it? How did Ya know that it was Zeng Zi's meaning and his disciples remembered it?" "Ya" the teacher responded and said: "This is what Zhu Zi, the first Confucian, wrote." Then asked: "When is Zhu Zi?" Ya" said: "Southern Song Dynasty." Then asked: "Confucius, when was Zeng Zi?" " Then asked: "How long has the Zhou Dynasty been?" Said: "A few thousand years." Then asked: "But how did Zhu Zi know this?" The teacher couldn't answer. This suspicious and thoughtful spirit was the starting point for his later achievements.
