Because we recite the Buddha's name for life and death, the horror of life and death, the horror of hell, and even a word of Amitabha disappear.You don’t have enough concentration in your heart, so you need to focus in the future.

Little six sons: Disciple thinks evil in the first thought, and awareness in the second thought can cut it off.

Master Dehong: You learned it, you did not cultivate it.Do you know when you think evil in the past?If you know it, you can stop it and then you can’t think of it, the ten-faithful Bodhisattva, you can live in it, and you can live in it for the first time.Now that you don’t have the skill, you should work towards it.If you feel that the previous thought is evil, stop it at that time.

Xiaoliuzi: How should we practice repentance every day?

Master Dehong: Recite Amitabha Buddha.

Little six sons: I have just become a monk, how should I practice at a young age?
Master Dehong: It's very simple. Be a student to the old teachers and parents who have been monks for a long time, and learn from them.

Xiaoliuzi: As a contemporary monk, do we have to go to the temple to practice?Disciples don't think so.

Master Dehong: Is it because you don’t want to live in Shaolin Temple to take care of my useless old thing?It’s okay not to live in a temple, but it’s not enough if you don’t study the scriptures. If you don’t study, you won’t know the way.

Little Six: Why do you want to be born in the Land of Ultimate Bliss?

Little Six: With what intention should we recite and worship Buddha?
Master Dehong: The first is the heart of repentance, and the second is the heart of sincerity. The sincerity of repentance must start with faith and vows, and the second is the heart of faith and vows.

Xiaoliuzi: What should we do if the monks today are nosy?
Master Dehong: Just take care of yourself.

Master Dehong: It's very simple, you will be liberated if you let go.

Little Six: How to practice while walking, sitting, lying down, eating and dressing?
Master Dehong: It’s very simple. When eating and dressing, you should never forget the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. With the blessing of the Three Jewels, eat like this.
