Chapter 686
This lamp tower itself is probably already a magical weapon. With the blessing of such a lamp tower, coupled with Master Dehong's cultivation base, I am afraid that it is really not difficult to eliminate one's evil karma.

Master Dehong said that it took five years, which is still self-effacing, and it should not take that long.

And most importantly, this is an object from the Tang Dynasty. If the guess is correct, it should be something of the same age as Pei Min.

"I wonder if Master Dehong knows about Wenxi's descendants?" Ye Feng asked respectfully, remembering the nine characters revealed on the nine swords.

"You must have seen the enlightenment of the descendants of Wenxi." Master Dehong smiled, "The people of Yunmen Sect seem to have told you before me."

"I saw Long Zongyuan in the Tubo battlefield, what do these nine words mean?" Ye Feng asked respectfully.

"Buddha said, don't say it." Master Dehong shook his head, "Relying on Fengweizi's ingenuity, it is not difficult to guess these nine characters.

Even if you can't understand it now, there will be a day when you will understand it in the future, why should the old monk make noise. "

Ye Fengxin said that the ability of this Buddhist man is really comparable to that of Qimen Dunjia.

Since Master Dehong didn't want to talk about it, Ye Feng didn't ask any further questions, saying that I'm going to light the eternal lamp.

"Okay." Master Dehong nodded in approval.

Ye Feng went over and found that the ever-burning lamps in this lamp building had a double-layer structure, a container inside was filled with lamp oil, the wick was soaked in vinegar, and the outer layer was filled with water to cool the lamp oil;

Ye Feng couldn't help sighing that this is a great invention, because the oil consumed by the oil lamp is not mainly ignited, but volatilized by heat. The wick soaked in vinegar can not only keep the temperature low, but the water outside the oil jar can also effectively prevent the oil temperature from rising. , that is, the effect of longevity can be achieved.

"Dharma's Broken Physiotherapy" also has a bright lamp: it is the mind of righteous enlightenment, and it is likened to a lamp with enlightenment; therefore, all those who seek liberation use their body as a lampstand and their heart as a wick to increase the precepts and behaviors as fuel. ;Wisdom and enlightenment, like a lamp.

If you really feel like a lamp, you can illuminate all ignorance and ignorance. If you can use this method, you can change phases and teach, that is, one lamp burns hundreds of thousands of lamps, and the lamps continue to burn. However, the lamp is endless, so it is called Changming.

In the past there was a Buddha named Randeng, and the meaning was the same.

Foolish sentient beings, who don’t know the Tathagata’s expedient teachings, practice vainness, persist in doing things, and then light the lamps of sage oil in the world to illuminate the empty room, calling them to follow the teachings, isn’t it absurd! So what? The Buddha puts a ray of light between his eyebrows, which can illuminate thousands of worlds. How could it be a lamp made of soy oil, thinking it is beneficial.

Inspector Sri, it shouldn't be so!And those who practice the Way at six o'clock: among the so-called six faculties, at all times, they often practice the Buddha's way, cultivate all enlightenment practices, tame the six faculties, and persist for a long time, which is called the six o'clock. Those who walk around the pagoda: The pagoda is the body and mind. Let Juehui circle the body and mind without stopping, which is called circling the pagoda.

All the sages of the past have followed this path and attained Nirvana.Today's people in the world don't know this principle, they used to not practice inside, but insisted on seeking outside; they will hinder the body, go around the tower of the world, walk around day and night, in vain fatigue, and have no benefit to the true nature.

There is also a story in the Buddhist scriptures that lighting a lamp to become a Buddha. When the Buddha was alive, people worshiped the Buddha so they used electric oil lamps to worship the Buddha.

A poor woman also wanted to make offerings to the Buddha, but because her family was poor, she couldn't do a big donation, so she could only buy lamp oil with a copper coin she begged.

She lit an oil lamp to worship the Buddha with a devout heart, but she was afraid that the lighted oil lamp would go out in the middle of the night, so she bowed to the Buddha and made a wish, "I am willing to do the Buddha's deeds in every lifetime, and ask the Buddha to bless this light to last forever."

When it was almost dawn, the Buddha asked Venerable Moggallana to extinguish all the lamps. As a result, only the oil lamp of the poor woman was still on.

So the Buddha said: "Women's faith will not be rebellious, and they will eliminate the sins of the previous life, and they will be able to spread the bodhicitta to teach and transform all living beings. When the merits and virtues are complete, you should come to become a Buddha, named "Sumeri Light Tathagata"."

This story is the origin of Buddhist lighting, which is the "eternal light" that people see in Buddhist temples.

The meaning of lighting the ever-burning lamp is that as long as the lamp is not extinguished, the Buddha's light can shine everywhere, break the darkness, and eliminate evil karma.

A real eternal lamp must write the birth date of the person who lit the lamp on red paper, and then burn it with the eternal lamp, so that the ashes will fall into the lamp oil of the eternal lamp. Only by accepting the chanting consecration of the eminent monk can it be hung on the Changming Lighthouse and receive the incense.

Ye Feng wrote his birth date on the scarlet letter, and lit the lamp with his own hands, and then he looked back and sat down with Master Dehong.

After that, I will ask Master Dehong to eliminate the evil karma with full authority.

Little Six came in at the right time, with two cups of tea on the plate, and placed them between Master Dehong and Ye Feng, Master Dehong looked at Ye Feng: "Taoism also pays attention to tea ceremony, similarly, our Buddhist school also pays attention to this .

Also invite Feng Weizi to taste it. "

Ye Feng nodded, picked up the teacup with the tray under it, pushed the cup cover halfway, and blew a few breaths. In the Chinese tea ceremony, "heaven and man are one", the cup holder is the earth, and the cup lid is the sky. The cup is a human being, if you pick up the cup holder together, this technique is called: "three talents in one".

When the tea first entered the tongue, a strong bitter taste instantly spread to the brain through the tip of the tongue. Ye Feng almost couldn't hold it back. It is said that Buddhism pays attention to "the taste of Zen and tea". To achieve the purpose of practicing Zen, no matter whether he has understood Zen or not, at least Ye Feng has understood it.

Moreover, Ye Feng didn't like to drink this stuff in the first place, but as a Taoist priest, he had to know a thing or two.

But the tea served by Master Dehong, apart from bitterness, Ye Feng really couldn't taste anything.

"Feng Weizi, why not drink a few more sips." Master Dehong laughed when he saw Ye Feng's facial expression.

"How many more sips?" Just this sip of Ye Feng felt uncomfortable, "If you want me to drink more, then if you feel sick to your stomach, don't blame me for throwing up your face."

"It doesn't matter." Master Dehong didn't seem to care about Ye Feng's "offending the superior".

After taking three sips of tea into his throat, Ye Feng gradually tasted a slight difference. The first sip seemed to be bitter, but the second sip became bitter. By the third sip, he found that the bitterness had diminished, and an elegant breath began to linger With the tip of his tongue, Ye Feng's eyes lit up, and he drank the rest of the tea in one gulp.

"It's said that bitter tea makes you feel better after drinking it for a long time. After drinking the tea from the master, I really understand it." Ye Feng put down the teacup, and there was still a faint fragrance between his mouth and mouth.

"Could Feng Weizi talk about the Zen mechanism in this bitter tea?" Master Dehong asked aloud.

"Bodhi does not have a tree, and the mirror is not a stand. There is nothing at all. Where is the dust? Buddhism emphasizes clearing away the distracting thoughts of the mind, and tea washes away the dirt on it, leaving no trace.

I have heard such a saying: Tranquility is the head of the Buddha, emptiness is the foundation of the Buddha, suffering is the body of the Buddha, and concealment is the principle of the Buddha. Tea, tea maker, true Buddha! "

"Hahahaha!" Master Dehong laughed heartily after hearing Ye Feng's words, "This is what Jichenzi told me back then, he asked me to seek the true Buddha in this bitter tea.

I am already living in suffering, and I need to find the taste of Buddha in this suffering.

You are a member of the Taoist school. If I talk too much about Buddhism, I will inevitably be suspected of destroying the sect. However, I hope that no matter what kind of suffering you encounter, remember that it is the time of cultivation. If you persist in the past, you will be able to find the way out. the Tao in it.

This is what Ji Chenzi taught me back then, and I will teach you this again.

After all, your future road will be much, much longer than mine..."

Master Dehong said, Ye Feng is also a long-standing chief, "Thank you, Master Dehong, for your enlightenment."

"The matter of the middle dragon's veins has been resolved, you should go on to the west." Master Dehong waved his hand and said, "There are only nine hidden dragons left here, whether it can still give birth to real dragons is a matter of good fortune.

As for the nine potential dragons, they shouldn't come out easily.

Now the Chinese dragon veins are dying, you must hurry to Kunlun Mountains, find the source of everything, and solve it, to protect my Huaxia dragon veins. "

Ye Feng nodded. In fact, he still wanted to ask a question in his heart, that is, relying on Master Dehong's good luck, what happened to him 80 years ago that caused his limbs to be severed?
It's just that Ye Feng thought about it, and it's really impolite to ask this question.

There are thousands of sufferings, why bother?

So he withdrew from the meditation room and went to look for Guan Xie, Yatou and others.

Master Dehong looked at Ye Feng's leaving figure, and the smile on his face gradually faded. Looking at the ever-burning lamp, Master Dehong kept his eyes on his nose and his mouth on his heart.

"Namo Amitabha!"

Master Dehong chanted the Buddha's name, and then the sound of wooden fish sounded out of nowhere.

If Ye Feng could see this scene, he must be very surprised.

Although Master Dehong's hands are disabled, he has already achieved the state of having a Buddha in his heart. The sound of the wooden fish resounding out of thin air is proof.

"Respectfully ask for the compassionate protection of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva!" Master Dehong then shouted three more times, and the wooden fish's voice became even louder.

"Supreme, profound and subtle dharma, which is difficult to encounter in millions of kalpas."

"What I have seen and heard today is like receiving and holding, and I am willing to understand the true meaning of the Tathagata."

The few Buddhist words that Master Dehong recited are the opening verses of the Ksitigarbha Sutra, and he is asking for the blessing of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

In Buddhism, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is in charge of the reincarnation of hell, and once made a great wish: "The hell is not empty, and if you do not become a Buddha, you will save all living beings before you can realize Bodhi."

The Ksitigarbha Sutra is also an important scripture in Buddhism. It is mainly to eliminate the karma of the person who recites the scriptures or their relatives and family members. However, Master Dehong's next words cannot be gradually understood.

The so-called great sound has no sound, and the avenue is invisible. Following Master Dehong's recitation, streams of Buddha light began to move in the direction of the ever-bright lamp, converging in the sky above the lamp seedlings.

The Buddha's light above Master Dehong's head became even stronger. As the spiritual light slowly poured into the lamp, the light red halo of the lamp slowly became transparent, like eating mulberry leaves. The speed was not fast, but it could be felt.

It is only a matter of time before the light red halo becomes transparent, and it means that this evil karma is completely resolved, and that speed will not take five years at all.

Master Dehong was chanting, but suddenly spit out a mouthful of blood, and forcibly stopped the chanting.

Then, the door of the meditation room opened wide, and a figure walked in slowly...
