Jian, benefiting the southwest, not benefiting the northeast; benefiting the Lord, Zhenji.

"Xu Gua Zhuan" said: "There must be difficulties in being good, so it is difficult to accept it, and it is difficult for those who are in trouble."

In this hexagram, the lower hexagram "Gen" is mountain and stop, and the upper hexagram "Kan" is water and danger.Tun hexagram is difficult to create because of movement, and hexagram Jian is difficult to find because of stop. The meanings of the two are different.

According to "Shuo Gua Zhuan", the Kun hexagram is in the southwest, and the Gen hexagram is in the northeast.But there is no Kun hexagram in this hexagram. In terms of hexagram shape, it does not include southwest.Therefore, Yi scholars in the Han Dynasty made various changes in the shape of the hexagrams to explain the Southwest.In fact, the symbols in the "Book of Changes" are not fixed. All hexagram shapes with one yang and two yin are evolved from the hexagram Kun.Therefore, the upper hexagram "Kan" can also be regarded as "Kun", which refers to the southwest; "Kun" is also the ground, which is easy to walk, so it is said "benefits the southwest".The next hexagram "Gen" refers to the northeast; "Gen" is a mountain, and it is difficult to walk, so it is "not good for the northeast".That is to say, when it is difficult, softness should be used instead of rigidity.

Also, "Jian" refers to difficulties, to overcome difficulties, you need the assistance of great people, and you must stick to the right way to save yourself.Fortunately, the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" is vigorous and upright, which symbolizes great figures. The five lines above the "Six Two" are both upright, so it is auspicious.

"彖" said: "Jian, it is difficult, and danger comes first."See the danger and be able to stop, know it!Jian "beneficial to the southwest" means going to the center; "beneficial to the northeast" is poor. "Beneficiary to see adults" is often meritorious.When the "Zhenji" is in place, it is also Zhengbang.It's great to use it in Jian's time!

"Jian" means difficult.The upper hexagram "Kan" means danger, so there is danger ahead; the lower hexagram "Gen" means stop, if you see danger, stop immediately, isn't it wisdom!In terms of hexagram change, the exchange of "nine four" and "six five" in the small cross hexagram becomes Jian hexagram; it symbolizes that "nine four" moves forward and reaches the middle position of the upper hexagram; The next hexagram "Gen", stop, there is no way to go.In addition, the upper hexagram "Kan" evolved from "Kun", and the direction of "Kun" is in the southwest, so it is beneficial to go to the southwest.The direction of the lower hexagram "Gen" is in the northeast, so it is said to go northeast; that is, it is not good to retreat.When you are in a difficult situation, you must meet great people and give them assistance in order to move forward and achieve success.In this hexagram, the five lines above "[-]" must be upright; therefore, the position is right, sticking to the upright way is auspicious, and the family can be ordered. "Jian" means difficulty, although it is not expected to happen, but depending on time, sometimes the effect of difficulty is too great.

"Xiang" said: "There is water on the mountain, and there is water; a gentleman cultivates virtue by reflexiveness."The lower hexagram "Gen" is a mountain, the upper hexagram "Kan" is water, and there is water on the mountain.Mountains are dangerous, water is not easy to cross, it is difficult.A gentleman should imitate the spirit of this hexagram. When encountering difficulties, he must ask himself in turn, what is the reason for the difficulties?And start with cultivating morality to overcome difficulties.

"Mencius·Li Lou Part [-]" also said: "When practice fails to achieve results, everything must reflect on oneself."

Sixth day: Go to Jian, come to praise.

"Xiang" says: "Go to Jian to praise", it is appropriate to wait. "Going" means moving forward and rising, and "coming" is the opposite of going, it means coming back and staying in the same place. The yin and yang position of the "sixth day of the first day" is weak and irregular, and it cannot correspond to the "six fourth" of the upper hexagram. Know the current situation, know what you can do, return to stay where you are, wait for the opportunity, and you will be honored.

This line shows that you should not take risks lightly.Sixty-two: The king and his ministers are jealous, because the bandits bow.

"Elephant" said: "The king and his ministers are in trouble", and there will be no exceptions in the end. "Bai Gong" means to strive forward regardless of one's own safety. The "six two" yin line is upright, and it is in the center of the lower hexagram, and it is the same as the upper hexagram.Should be able to move forward smoothly.However, the upper hexagram "Gen" is dangerous, and the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" is in the middle of the danger; the "Six Two" who stands in the position of a minister can only take risks, regardless of success or failure, and go to the rescue without caring about his own safety.

"Xiang Zhuan" further explained that no matter what the ending is, there will be no complaints in the end.Using "bandit bow" as an adjective for a loyal minister to serve the country is the result of this line.

This line shows that when you are in danger, you will not regret your life until you are desperate and save each other.

Nine Three: Go back and forth.

"Xiang" said: "Go against the enemy and come against it", which is also a joy in the inside.

"Nine Three" is the highest position in the inner hexagram, and it is also the only yang line in the inner hexagram, which becomes the support of the other two yin lines.However, "nine three" corresponds to the "upper six" of the outer hexagram, and one wants to ascend.However, the upper position has no position, and the "Shang Liu" is weak and weak, and cannot give assistance. If you want to advance, but the upper position has no position, the "Shang Liu" is weak and weak, and cannot be cited; therefore, "Nine Three" is promotion, It's hard.But if you recognize the situation clearly and return to the inner hexagram, not only will the two yin lines of the inner hexagram be stable, but you will also be safe.

This line shows that instead of taking risks in order to accompany the advance, it is better to retreat and defend in order to be safe.

June [-]th: Go to Jian to connect.

"Xiang" says: "Going to Jian and coming to connect", it is true.

"June [-]th" has stepped into the dangerous land of "Hill" in the upper hexagram, and is in a dilemma.However, the yin and yin positions of the "June [-]th" are upright, and they have the justice of saving the world and people. The next neighbor "Jiu San" also has the upright position of the yang and yang lines, and they are like-minded; , to take risks and save the world. "Xiang Zhuan" said: "It is true to be in the position." It also has the meaning of "June [-]th" gaining righteousness and honesty.

This line shows that if you take risks and encounter difficulties, you should unite with comrades and increase your strength.Ninth Five-Year: Big friends come.

"Xiang" says: "Big friends come", which is also the middle festival. "Big Jian" is very difficult. The "Ninth Five-Year Plan" is in the throne, but it is in the middle of the hexagram, and the situation is very difficult.However, the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" was vigorous and upright, and comrades of Zhongzheng would definitely come to the rescue in very difficult times, and that was the "June Two".In this hexagram, when the situation is good, it is never said to be auspicious, because it is not out of danger yet, so it cannot be said whether it is good or bad.

"Xiang Zhuan" said: Because of adhering to Zhongzheng's integrity, some comrades will come to rescue.

Upper Six: Go to Jian, come to Shuo, auspicious, benefit to see adults.

"Xiang" said: "Going to Jian to come to Shuo", the ambition is within;

"Xiang Zhuan" said: Going to the road is difficult and dangerous, and when you come back, you will return with a rewarding experience.This shows that the ambition of Shangliu is to unite and help each other. "Li Jian adults" means that the upper six should follow the noble monarch.

【Meaning】 Difficult to endure—to deal with the predicament correctly.

[Gua Yi] Difficulty, predicament, difficulty, danger.

[Gua Yi] The upper hexagram Kan is water, which is dangerous; the lower hexagram Gen is a mountain, which is stop.It symbolizes difficulties and dangers encountered in the process of advancing, and it is impossible to stop.The meaning of the hexagram is that when people encounter difficulties in various aspects, they should face them calmly and practice virtue in turn, and move people with sincerity, so as to relieve their own difficulties.

[Structural model] Retreat and have good luck, have friends to help, unite and grow, retreat to seek safety, rescue the savior from difficulties, do not advance rashly, and be troubled (lame, difficult).

[Yin and Yang] four yin and two yang.

[Position] Three Yao and Five Yao Yang occupy the Yang position, which is positive.The Yin position of the second, fourth, and sixth Yao is positive.But at the beginning of the line, the position of yin and yang is not correct.

[Hexagram Image] The upper hexagram is based on the danger of Kanshui, and the lower hexagram is based on Genshan.It symbolizes that there are many dangers ahead, and you have to stop when you are in danger.And the water flowing down from the upper ridge is stopped by the mountain, that is, there is water flowing down on the mountain, and it is very difficult to go up.

[Thinking mode] The danger of the above ridge water and the stop of Genshan Mountain are metaphors for stopping when in danger, and it also means that there is water flowing down the mountain, and it is very difficult to move forward.Therefore, it inspires people that when they are in a difficult situation, they should have certain strategies. According to the state of danger, they can adopt: (1) If one's own strength is insufficient, retreat and wait. (2) There are strengths around and go hand in hand. (3) If there is no way out, then revive the will to fight, put it to death and survive.
