Chapter 10 Basic Theory of Acupuncture and Moxibustion (2)
([-]) Five Shu Points Five Shu Points were first seen in "Lingshu Nine Needles and Twelve Origins": "What goes out is a well, what slips is a Xing, what is injected is an infusion, what you do is a meridian, and what you get is a combination." The ancients put the classics together. The process of qi movement is described by the change of natural water flow from small to large, from shallow to deep. The twelve meridians are distributed below the elbow and knee joints, and the five wells, ying, shu, meridians, and he are arranged from the ends of the limbs to the elbow and knee. The first point is called Wushu point.
Well—the source of water flows out of the place of Qi Xing—the fresh spring water flows through the place where the air passes through——the water flows from shallow to deep through the place where the Qi flows through——the spring water flows through the place of Qi in a smooth river The parts of the lines are combined—the meridian qi is finally like a hundred rivers converging with the sea of people. The meridian qi penetrates into the part and the five Shu points are also assigned to the five elements. "Nanjing 64 Difficulties" points out that "Yin well wood, Yang well metal; Yin Ying fire, Yang Ying Water; yin feeds earth, yang feeds wood; yin passes through metal, yin passes through fire; yin joins water, yang joins earth.”
([-]) Yuan acupoint
There are a total of twelve organs where the original qi of the viscera passes and stays, and they are distributed near the wrist and ankle joints. The yin meridian replaces the original with infusion to treat visceral lesions.
([-]) collateral points
There is an acupoint at each part of the collaterals from the meridians, which are called collateral points. It has the function of connecting the two classics in the table. Each of the twelve meridians has a collateral point, which are distributed below the elbow and knee joints, together with the collateral point of the Ren meridian, the collateral point of the Du meridian, and the large collateral of the spleen, it is collectively called the fifteen collateral points.
([-]) Shu point
The qi of the viscera is infused into the acupoints on the back and waist, and distributed on the back and waist. It is mostly used for visceral diseases to treat visceral diseases and tissue and organ diseases related to viscera.
([-]) Recruiting points
Viscera meridian qi gathers at acupoints on the chest and abdomen and distributes in the chest and abdomen. To treat visceral diseases, it is mostly used for visceral diseases.
([-]) Bahui Point
Eight acupoints where the essence of viscera, fu organs, qi, blood, tendons, arteries, bones, and marrow converge.First published in "Nanjing".Distributed in the trunk or extremities.
([-]) Qie point
Qie, the gap; Qie point, the part where the Qi of each meridian gathers deeply.A total of sixteen Qi points (one for each of the twelve meridians, the Yin-Yang Qiao Meridian, and the Yin-Yang Wei Meridian), are distributed below the elbow and knee joints.Yin meridian Qie points treat severe and emergency diseases of this meridian and viscera; Yang meridian Qie points mostly treat pain syndrome, and Yin meridian Qie points mostly treat blood syndrome.
([-]) Xiahe point
The qi of the three yangs and six internal organs of the hands and feet are combined with the six acupoints of the three yang meridians of the foot.It is mainly distributed near the knee joint to treat diseases of the six internal organs.
([-]) Intersection points of the eight meridians
The eight acupoints where the Qi of the Eight Extra Meridians and the Twelve Meridians intersect are distributed above and below the wrist and ankle joints. For lesions of Yiben Meridian and Eight Extra Meridians, it can also be used in conjunction with the acupoints of the two channels.
Gongsun Tongchong Vessel Neiguan Tongyin Weiwei Meridian is connected to the stomach, heart and thorax. Inner canthus, neck, ears, shoulders and feet Linqitong belt channel Waiguan Tongyang Weimai meets sharp canthus, behind ears, cheeks, neck and shoulders.
([-]) Intersection point
The acupoints where the meridians of two or more meridians intersect or converge are first seen in the "Jia B Jing" and are distributed on the head, face and trunk.Cure the pathology of the root meridians and intersecting meridians.
[-]. Positioning method of acupoints
([-]) Anatomical landmark positioning method
1. Fixed signs refer to facial features, hair, fingernails, nipples, umbilical fossa, bulges and depressions formed by joints and muscles, etc.Such as: facial features, hair, fingers (toenails), nipples, navel and various joint protrusions and depressions.
Example: between the two breasts - the middle of the mutton
Under the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra - Dazhui
Brows - Cuanzhu
2 inches from the middle of the navel——Tianshu
2. Activity signs refer to the gaps, depressions, wrinkles, tips, etc. that appear in the joints, muscles, tendons, and skin of various parts with the movement. For example: Elbow flexion head—the depression in front of the Quchi opening mouth in front of the tragus—about one horizontal finger above the mandibular angle of Tinggong. When chewing, the masseter muscle rises and presses the depression—the buccal car 3. Bone degree measurement Positioning method "bone degree" is a method of determining the position of acupoints by measuring the length and width of each part of the whole body by measuring the joints on the body surface as the main mark. When selecting acupoints, fold the set length between the two ends of the joint into certain equal parts. Each equal part is divided into 1 inch, and ten equal parts are divided into 1 foot. No matter male, female, old or young, fat, thin, tall or short, all of them are divided according to this standard. The amount is used as the basis for measuring acupoints.
4. The finger-to-body measurement method refers to the method of measuring the position of acupoints by folding certain parts of the patient's own fingers into a certain size.It is commonly known as "the finger is the same as the body".
(1) The same body size of the middle finger: the patient’s thumb and middle finger are flexed to form a circle, the tip of the middle finger rests on the pulp of the thumb, and the distance between the two ends of the radial side of the middle segment of the middle finger is taken as 1 inch.It is suitable for the vertical cun of the acupoints on the extremities and the horizontal cun of the acupoints of the back, waist and sacrum.
(2) The same size as the thumb: In this method, the width of the patient's thumb knuckle is taken as 1 inch.
(3) The horizontal finger is the same as the body inch: this method is to combine the index, middle, ring, and little fingers, take the second horizontal line of the middle finger as the standard, and measure the width of the four fingers as 3 inches. Also known as the "one-husband method".It is mostly used for the vertical measurement of the lower limbs and lower abdomen and the horizontal measurement of the back.
5. Simple acupoint selection method The simple acupoint selection method is a simple and easy acupoint selection method that is summed up after long-term clinical practice and commonly used in clinical practice.
Example: Standing at attention, with the tip of the middle finger hanging down naturally——Fengshi
The two tiger's mouths intersect, and the end of the index finger reaches the place - Lie Que
The midpoint of the line connecting the tips of the two ears——Baihui
