21. Front top (Qiándǐnɡ)

[Indications] ①headache, dizziness; ②nasal sinusitis; ③mania and epilepsy.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of high blood pressure and rhinitis in modern times.

22. Xinhui (Xìnhuì)

[Name] The point is where the fontanelle is located, hence the name.

[Location] On the head, 2 inches straight above the center of the current hairline.

[Indications] ①headache, dizziness; ②nasal sinusitis; ③mania and epilepsy.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat hypertension, rhinitis, sinusitis, etc.

23. Shangxing* (Shànɡxīnɡ)

[Name] The "high" point is the upper part; the "star" refers to the point.Described as high, like stars, hence the name.

[Location] On the head, 1 inches straight above the center of the current hairline.

[Indications] ①headache, dizziness; ②eye pain, sinusitis, epistaxis; ③madness.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat rhinitis, sinusitis, neurasthenia, etc.

24. Shéntínɡ

[Name] The place of residence is the court.Kaowao is the residence of the primordial spirit, and the acupoint above the heavenly court is the dwelling place of the gods.The needle has the effect of calming and refreshing, hence the name.

[Location] On the head, 0.5 inches straight above the center of the current hairline.

[Indications] ①Headache, dizziness; ②Biyuan, epistaxis; ③Insomnia, mania and epilepsy.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat neurasthenia, neurosis, memory loss, schizophrenia, rhinitis, sinusitis, etc.

25. Yintang (Yìntánɡ)

[Name] Yin refers to printing and dyeing, and the residence is a hall. The ancients often dyed red dots on the tip of the eyebrows to show beauty, and the acupoints are suitable for them, hence the name.

[Positioning] On the forehead, between the brows.

[Indications] Headache, dizziness; nasal sinusitis, epistaxis, conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, facial boils.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Lift and pinch the local skin, puncture 0.3-0.5 inches downward, or prick with a three-edged needle to bleed; it can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nervous headache, high blood pressure, rhinitis, acute conjunctivitis, facial paralysis, neurasthenia, etc.

26. Su Liao*(sùliáo)

[Name] "Su" refers to pure white; "Liao" generally refers to holes.Kaofei opens to the nose, the lung should be white, and the acupoint is the tip of the nose, hence the name.

[Positioning] On the face, when the tip of the nose is in the middle.

[Indications] ① coma, neonatal asphyxia; ② nasal sinusitis, epistaxis, wine drum nose.

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Puncture obliquely upward 0.3-0.5 cun, or prick for bleeding; no moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat neonatal asphyxia, shock, rhinitis, etc.

27. Shuǐɡōu* (Shuǐɡōu)

[Name] This point is located in Renzhonggou, which looks like a "water ditch", hence the name.

[Location] On the face, at the junction of the upper 1/3 and lower 2/3 of the renzhong groove.

【Indications】①Syncope, coma, stroke, heat stroke;

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Puncture obliquely upward 0.3-0.5 cun, strong stimulation, or pricking bleeding, or pinching with fingernails; no moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat shock, hysteria, schizophrenia, motion sickness (ship), facial paralysis, facial spasm, acute lumbar sprain, etc.

28. Duìduān

[Name] "Dui" Tongrui, there is an ancient saying "Duiweikou", the acupoint is on the tip of the upper lip, hence the name.

[Location] On the face, when the tip of the upper lip, the transitional part between the skin and the lip at the lower end of the renzhong groove.

【Indications】①Halitosis, halitosis, gingival swelling and pain; ②Madness.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Oblique upward 0.2-0.3 cun; no moxibustion.

[Application] It is often used in the treatment of hysteria in modern times.

29. Gingival intercourse (Kěnjiāo)

[Name] "Jiao" refers to understanding.The acupoint is the intersection of the upper gum and the upper lip, where the Ren and Du channels meet, hence the name.

[Positioning] Leaning on the seat.In the upper lip, where the labial frenum meets the upper gums.

[Indications] ① bad breath, halitosis, swelling and pain of gums, sinusitis; ② mania.

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Puncture obliquely upward 0.2-0.3 cun, or prick for bleeding; no moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat gingivitis, nasal polyps, hysteria, lumbar sprain, etc.

[-]. Lung Meridian of Hand Taiyin
([-]) Meridian circulation

1. The line on the body surface starts from the Zhongfu point on the outer side of the upper chest, follows the Cunkou on the inner front edge of the upper limb, follows the thenar point, and ends at the Shaoshang point on the radial side of the thumb.The other branch runs from 1.5 cun behind the wrist (Lieque point) to Shangyang point on the radial side of the index finger. [Give it to Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian].

2. Connecting viscera and viscera The organ starts from the middle burner, connects the large intestine below, follows the stomach, and goes up to the diaphragm. It belongs to the lung and is connected with the larynx and trachea.

3. Circular distribution characteristics
(1) Walking from the chest to the hand is the meridian of more qi and less blood, and Yin time (3-5 o'clock) is the most prosperous time of qi and blood.

(2) There are 11 points in total, starting from Zhongfu point and ending at Shaoshang point.

(3) Distributed on the medial front edge of the upper limb.

(4) There is a branch from Lieque acupoint above the styloid process of the radius, 1.5 cun behind the wrist, to Shangyang acupoint on the radial side of the index finger, crossing the large intestine meridian of hand-yangming.

([-]) Main symptoms

Cough, wheezing, hemoptysis, chest pain, exogenous pathogenic factors, sore throat, diseases at the parts where the meridians pass.

([-]) Disease induction

1. Respiratory diseases such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema, pleurisy.

2. Diseases of the five sense organs such as acute and chronic pharyngitis, tonsillitis, nosebleeds, sinusitis.

3. Symptoms of the parts where the meridian passes, such as shoulder and back pain, supraclavicular fossa pain, pain at the front edge of the inner side of the upper limb, and heat in the palm.

([-]) Acupoints of this meridian

There are 11 points in total.

1. Zhongfu* (Zhōnɡfǔ) Lung's Mo Point

【Name】Medium, middle focus.In the middle of the point, the Qi of the Spleen and Stomach converges on the Lung Meridian, hence the name.

[Positioning] Sitting or lying on the back.On the outer upper part of the anterior chest wall, 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline, level with the first intercostal space.

【Indications】①Cough, asthma, chest pain; ②Shoulder and back pain.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Obliquely puncture 0.5-0.8 cun outward of the chest, do not inward obliquely or deeply, so as not to injure the lungs and cause pneumothorax; moxibustion is available.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia, etc.

2. Cloud Gate (Yúnmén)

[Name] Human Qi and blood originate from the Taiyin of the hand, exit from the Yunmen, return to the Jueyin of the Foot, and enter the Qimen.The cave lives above the lungs, like the six qi floating in the air, breeding all things, hence the name.

[Positioning] Sitting or lying on the back.On the outer upper part of the chest wall, above the coracoid process of the scapula, 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline, in the depression of the subclavian fossa.

【Indications】①Cough, asthma, chest pain; ②Shoulder and back pain.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Obliquely puncture 0.5-0.8 cun outward of the chest, do not inward obliquely or deeply, so as not to injure the lungs and cause pneumothorax; moxibustion is available.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat tracheitis, bronchial asthma, intercostal neuralgia, local soft tissue diseases, etc.

3. Tianfu (Tiānfǔ)

[Naming] In ancient times, this point was used to point the tip of the nose on the arm. Wherever it goes, it is the point. The nose is the orifice of the lungs, which communicates with the outside, and the lungs are the home of all qi, hence the name.

[Positioning] Sitting upright, the upper arm hangs down naturally.On the medial side of the arm, on the radial border of the biceps brachii, 3 cun below the head of the anterior axillary crease.

[Indications] ① Cough, asthma; ② Epistaxis; ③ Pain in the inner side of the upper arm.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-1 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat bronchitis, bronchial asthma, rhinitis, etc.

4. Xiabai (Xiábái)

[Naming] The hero is the same as the coercion, which means protection.The point is on the inner side of the upper arm, on both sides of the lungs, the lungs are white in color, and the point is next to it, hence the name.

[Positioning] Sitting upright, the upper arm hangs down naturally.On the medial side of the arm, on the radial border of the biceps brachii, 4 cun below the head of the anterior axillary crease.

【Indications】①Cough, asthma; ②Retching; ③Pain in the inner side of the upper arm.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.8-1.2 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of bronchial asthma and bronchitis in modern times.

5. Chǐzé combined point

[Naming] The ancients used the back of the wrist to the elbow as a foot, and the forearm was called "Chibu"; "Ze", a swamp, a low depression.This acupoint is He acupoint, which belongs to water, and the water should be moist. It is located in the ruler part, so it is named.

[Positioning] Slightly bend the elbow and raise the palm.In the cubital crease, in the depression on the radial side of the biceps tendon.

【Indications】①Cough, asthma, hemoptysis, sore throat, chest fullness; ②Acute vomiting and diarrhea, heat stroke, convulsions in children; ③Elbow arm pain.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Puncture 0.8 to 1.2 inches, or puncture bleeding; moxibustion can be used.

【Application】Treatment of pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, tuberculosis, acute gastroenteritis, heat stroke, elbow joint and surrounding soft tissue diseases, etc.

6. Kongzui* (Kǒnɡzuì) Qi point

[Name] "Kong", hole; "Most", gather also.This point is the place where the Qi and blood of the lung meridian converge, and it is the most useful point for regulating blood and opening the orifices, hence the name.

[Positioning] Stretch the forearm and raise the palm.On the radial side of the palm of the forearm, on the line connecting Chize and Taiyuan, 7 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist.

【Indications】①Cough, wheezing, hemoptysis, sore throat;

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-1.2 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] Treat bronchitis, bronchial asthma, tuberculosis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

7. Lièquē (Lièquē) collateral point; the point where the eight meridians intersect, leading to the Ren meridian
[Naming] "Lie" is the same as "crack" in ancient times, which means decomposition and separation; "quee" means that there is a gap in the damaged vessel.Because this point is located on the wrist, it is the split gap of the radial styloid process; and because this point is the collateral point of the lung meridian of Taiyin of the hand, the collaterals are separated from it, so it is named as missing.Others believe that this point is located in the gap between the two tendons on the wrist and the edge of the sleeve, and the sleeve is actually a large gap in the garment, so it is named as missing.

[Location] On the radial side of the forearm, above the styloid process of the radius, 1.5 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, between the brachioradialis muscle and the abductor pollicis longus tendon.

Simple acupoint selection method: two tiger mouths cross naturally and straightly, press the index finger of one hand on the radial styloid process of the other hand, and the depression where the tip of the index finger attaches is the acupoint.

[Indications] ① Cough, asthma, sore throat; ② Migraine headache, stiff neck, toothache, mouth and eyes; ③ Upper limb paralysis.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Obliquely puncture upward or downward 0.3-0.8 cun; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is often used in modern times to treat colds, bronchitis, nervous headaches, stiff neck, wrist joints and surrounding soft tissue diseases, etc.

8. Jingqu (Jīnɡqú) meridian point

[Naming] Below this point is the meeting of pulses, and this point is the main channel through which Qi passes through the lung meridian, hence the name.

[Positioning] Stretch your arms and raise your palms.On the radial side of the palm of the forearm, in the depression between the radial styloid process and the radial artery, 1 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist.

【Indications】①Cough, asthma, chest pain, sore throat; ②Wrist pain.

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Avoid radial artery, puncture 0.3-0.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion is prohibited.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat bronchitis, tonsillitis, etc.

9. Taiyuan * (Tàiyuān) Shu point; Yuan point; pulse meeting of Bahui point

[Name] Tai, very big; Yuan, abyss.The acupoint is where the Cunkou pulse is vigorous, and it is the meeting point of the pulse, hence the name.

[Positioning] Stretch your arms and raise your palms.On the radial side of the transverse crease on the palmar side of the wrist, where the radial artery pulses.

【Indications】①Cough, asthma, hemoptysis, sore throat; ②Apulse syndrome; ③Wrist pain.

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Avoid radial artery, puncture 0.3-0.5 cun straight; direct moxibustion is not suitable.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat colds, coughs, bronchitis, tuberculosis, pulseless syndrome, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

10. Yuji (Yújì) Xing point

[Name] The point is at the red and white flesh border of the big finger of the hand, which is similar to the red and white belly of a fish, and is located at its edge, so it is named.

[Positioning] The side wrists and palms are facing each other, with a natural half-fist.It is approximately at the junction of the red and white flesh on the radial side of the midpoint of the first metacarpal bone.

【Indications】①Cough, hemoptysis, sore throat, dry throat, aphonia;
② exogenous fever; ③ infantile malnutrition.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Needle 0.5-1 cun straight, and use cutting to treat malnutrition; it can be moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat bronchitis, pneumonia, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, simple dyspepsia in children, etc.

11. Shaoshang* (Shǎoshānɡ) well point

【Name】Shao, Xiao; Shang, Jinsheng, Yingfei.This is the end point of the Lung Meridian. Its meridian qi is insufficient, and it is also the "Jing" point where "the meridian qi comes out". It is the source and initial point of the meridian qi, so it is named.

[Location] Stretch the thumb, 0.1 cun lateral to the corner of the nail root on the radial side of the thumb.

[Indications] ① Fever, coma, heat stroke, convulsions in children; ② Sore throat, epistaxis, cough; ③ Mania; ④ Numbness of fingertips.

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Puncture 0.1 cun, or obliquely or horizontally 0.2-0.3 cun toward the wrist, or prick to let blood; moxibustion is available.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat pneumonia, tonsillitis, stroke, coma, schizophrenia, etc.

[-]. Large Intestine Meridian of Hand Yangming

([-]) Meridian circulation

1. The body surface follows the route starting from the Shangyang point on the radial side of the index finger, passes between the first and second metacarpal bones, goes up along the front edge of the outer side of the upper limb, passes through the acromion, neck, and cheek, crosses at the center of the human body, and ends on the opposite side Yingxiang point next to the nose. [Pass in the Stomach Meridian of Foot Yangming].

2. Connect with the viscera and organs, enter the Quepen, connect the lungs, and the lower diaphragm, which belongs to the large intestine, and is connected with the lower teeth, mouth, and nose.

3. Circular distribution characteristics
(1) From the hand to the head, it is the meridian of abundant qi and blood, and the qi and blood are most prosperous at Maoshi (5-7 o'clock).

(2) There are 20 points in total, starting from Shangyang point and ending at Yingxiang point on the opposite side.

(3) Distributed on the outer front edge of the upper limbs, shoulders, neck and cheeks.

(4) Take over the lung meridian of Taiyin on the upper hand, and intersect with the stomach meridian of foot Yangming at the opposite side of the nose (Yingxiang point).

1. Abdominal pain, borborygmus, diarrhea, constipation, dysentery.

2. Sore throat, toothache, runny nose or bleeding.

3. Symptoms such as pain, heat swelling or cold in the part where this meridian runs.

([-]) Disease induction

1. Headache, facial paralysis, toothache, eye disease, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, nosebleed, mumps, goiter, cervical lymph node enlargement, tinnitus, deafness.

2. Upper respiratory tract infection, cold, fever, headache, cough, febrile convulsions.

3. Allergic skin diseases, skin itching, urticaria.

4. Symptoms that the meridians pass through: shoulder pain, elbow and arm pain, finger and hand back pain.

([-]) Acupoints of this meridian

There are 20 points in total.

1. Shangyang* (Shānɡyánɡ) well point

【Name】Shang, Jinsheng, Ying large intestine; Yang, Yang meridian.The point belongs to the Large Intestine Meridian of Hand Yangming, hence the name.

[Location] Extend the index finger, 0.1 cun lateral to the corner of the nail root on the radial side of the index finger.

[Indications] ① fever, coma; ② sore throat, toothache; ③ index finger numbness.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Superficially puncture 0.1 cun, or prick for bleeding; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis, mumps, stomatitis, acute gastroenteritis, stroke coma, etc.

2. Erjian (Erjiān) Xing point

【Name】between, refers to the dwelling place.Because this point is the second point of this classic, it is named.

[Positioning] With the side wrists facing the palms, make a fist slightly.On the radial side of the index finger, in the depression in front of the second metacarpophalangeal joint.

[Indications] ① Toothache, epistaxis, sore throat; ② Fever; ③ Difficulty in flexion and extension of the index finger.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.2-0.3 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat toothache, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.

3. Sanjian* (Sānjiān) Shu point

【Name】between, refers to the dwelling place.This point is the third point of this classic, hence the name.

[Positioning] With the side wrists facing the palms, make a fist slightly.On the radial side of the index finger, in the depression behind the second metacarpophalangeal joint.

[Indications] ① eye pain, tooth pain, sore throat; ② fever; ③ abdominal distension, borborygmus;

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.3-0.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat tonsillitis, pharyngitis, dysentery, enteritis, etc.

4. Hegu * (Héɡǔ) original point

[Name] Also known as Hukou.Because it is located between the first and second metacarpal bones, and the two bones meet, it is shaped like a canyon and like a tiger's mouth, so it is named.

[Positioning] With the side wrists facing the palms, make a fist slightly.Between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones on the back of the hand, at the midpoint of the radial side of the 2nd metacarpal bone.Simple acupoint selection method: Take the transverse crease of the interphalangeal joint of the thumb of one hand and place it on the edge of the finger web between the thumb and index finger of the other hand, when the point is under the tip of the thumb.

[Indications] ①Headache, conjunctival congestion and swelling, toothache, epistaxis, deafness, sore throat, slanted mouth and eyes, mumps; ②Fever, aversion to cold, no sweat or hyperhidrosis; ③Dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, stagnation Production; ④ stomach pain, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, dysentery; ⑤ hemiplegia, convulsions in children; ⑥ rash rash.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Needling 0.5-1 cun straight can be used for moxibustion; pregnant women are not suitable for acupuncture.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat facial paralysis, trigeminal neuralgia, myopia, gingivitis, toothache, cold, high blood pressure, skin diseases, irregular menstruation, etc.
