Chapter 15 History of Yinpai

Chapter 15 History of Yinpai

"I don't know." My grandma said, "If I knew, would I still have to search everywhere in the country?"

The Chinese tunic suit was speechless, and the young man beside him was not used to it: "Hey, you old lady is relying on the old to sell the old, don't think that I will not dare to hit you when I grow old. Tell you, my fist is under seven years old. Believe it or not, if you are over [-], you can kill him with a single punch?"

My grandma sneered and said, "Then try it?"

The young man was about to make a move, but was stopped by his master: "Stop!"

"Master, this is obviously playing tricks on us." The young man said.

The Chinese tunic suit reprimanded him: "Sit in the back, don't mess around if you don't know..."

The young man had no choice but to stare at my grandma, and then retreated reluctantly.

"Mother-in-law, this junior doesn't know how deep you are, so I contradicted you, I hope mother-in-law will not be angry." The Chinese tunic suit was always very well-behaved.

In fact, I was quite puzzled in my heart, this Chinese tunic suit is not much younger than my grandma, why do you call me grandma? And it seems to be quite afraid of my grandma. Could it be that my grandma is a celebrity?

And what the Chinese tunic suit just said, we have two introductions, but what are the two? When I thought of the resurrection of my grandma, I couldn't help but have a horrible thought in my mind. Could it be that he said that Yinpai has two lives?

This thought shocked me for a long time.

"I've said everything I should say, and I won't say what I shouldn't. Don't ask me." My grandma didn't want to pay attention to them, and sat staring straight ahead.Although disappointed in the Chinese tunic suit, there was nothing he could do. He glanced at the beautiful older sister and motioned for the older sister to go to the back seat.

I heard the elder sister muttering to her master in a low voice: "Is this the legendary Sophora Granny?"

"Yeah." The Chinese tunic suit snorted deeply, and then sat in the back row a little bit lost.

I am now starting to feel that grandma is not just a rural woman. Behind her, there must be a rather large and complicated legendary story.

But I know that my grandma is very taboo about her past. Even if I mentioned it occasionally, my grandma would be upset. If I asked her directly, she would definitely be angry.

I don't want to make grandma angry, and I don't want to know about grandma's past. I'm worried that some things will exceed my imagination and make me unacceptable.

I think that I am content to stay with my grandma in a muddle like this.

We arrived at the destination soon, and grandma got off the car next to a big locust tree, but the three people sitting behind didn't get off the car.

I looked up at the big locust tree, and asked softly, "Grandma, this big locust tree is almost as good as the one in our yard."

Grandma stretched out her hand and patted the thick tree trunk, and said with a smile: "Yeah, it's about to catch up to our tree, let's rest here tonight."

I'm a little scared, sleeping in this uninhabited place, what if I encounter some wild beast? Not safe. But at this moment, I accidentally discovered that there were bright lights in a place estimated to be several hundred meters in front of the big locust tree, scattered here and there, which should be traces of the village.

"Why don't we go to the village to spend the night!" So I hurriedly said something to my grandma.

Grandma glanced at the light in front of me and said to me: "Look carefully, what color is that light?"

"Yellow, a bit bluish." I glanced at it, and then said to grandma.

"Have you ever seen a blue light?" my grandma asked.

"I haven't seen it." I said, "I see blue neon lights in big cities. I don't know if these are blue neon lights."

Grandma shook her head: "Actually, those are will-o'-the-wisps, designed to lure people over."

Now that I'm about to become a member of Yinpai, my grandma doesn't shy away from these things.

"If you pass by, you will indeed see a small village, but in fact it is a tomb. If you stay overnight, they will treat you as a scapegoat, and you have to stay there for the rest of your life, looking for the next scapegoat. ’” Grandma said to me.

In this cold night, what my grandma said gave me goosebumps.

Grandma didn't keep silent because of my fear, but continued to tell me something about her.

"You must be very curious about my past, right? Since you are going to take over my class, let me tell you in detail."

And hearing what my grandma said, I was completely shocked. I really didn't expect that this seemingly insignificant character has so many Taoisms.

Midwife is commonly known as Wenpo, as a specialized occupation, it should have been formed in the Eastern Han Dynasty at first, and during the Tang and Song Dynasties, Wenpo was very popular as a profession. In the local territory, the villagers centered on Gongchuan, built temples to worship their ancestors, and reproduced their children. They basically followed the culture of the Central Plains.

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the business of Yong'an Wenpo was quite common. They usually hung a signboard at the door of their house, and wrote the words "A certain grandma from the ancestors was born here".

Wen women in Fujian are all very worshipful of Guanyin, and regard Linshui's wife, Chen Jinggu, as the protector of the industry. In the long-term social development, the business of stable women has gradually formed its own jargon, such as they call pregnant women "suo mother"; cytoplasm (amniotic fluid) overflows as "announcement"; abdominal pain and imminent childbirth are "hanging happiness"; Childbirth is 'caixi' and so on.

They also refer to the baby as 'head', the boy as 'long head', the girl as 'adding head', the placenta as 'child clothes', the umbilical cord as 'longevity', the scissors as 'cross-umbilical', and the straw paper as 'mat. 'Wait.

If the mother or baby unfortunately dies, it is called "return to the original", the wages for midwifery are "demolition red", the reward for silver is "good money", the rich family is "high pillow", the poor family is "grass pillow" and so on.

With the development of the times, Wenpo, which has a history of thousands of years, is no longer limited to women. Because Linshui's wife, Chen Jinggu, accepts male disciples, breaking the taboo that Wenpo must be a woman, so this industry gradually Then there will be a man to join.

Newborn babies have extremely strong yin energy, so some incomprehensible supernatural phenomena often occur. As a stable woman, because she often dealt with this kind of situation, she naturally formed a set of her own unique theory and techniques of midwifery.

These rich and valuable experiences were compiled into a book by Mrs. Linshui, and she herself achieved the right result by delivering the baby, attaining Taoism and immortality, so she almost became a totem among Wen Po, and was worshiped by Wen Po as the Patriarch.

The lady of Linshui, named Chen Jinggu, was born in Fuzhou on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month in the first year of the Tang Dynasty. She was naturally intelligent when she was young, and later she was enlightened by immortals. She knew the art of talisman and could drive away five people. She was married to Gutian Liu Qi as an adult.

When Chen Jinggu was in the village, she used a sword to slash big snakes and eliminate harm for the people. After hearing about it in the court, Emperor Hui named her "Mrs. Shunyi".It is also said that when the Empress of the Later Tang Dynasty was having difficulty in childbirth, Chen Jinggu transformed into a fortune-teller to help her survive, so that the empress gave birth to the prince safely. The emperor was overjoyed after hearing the performance, and immediately granted her the title of "Mrs. Dutian Zhen Guo Xianying Chongfu Da Niai", and built an ancestral temple for her in Gutian, Fujian.Because of the repeated miracles, all places followed suit.

It is said that when Chen Jinggu was 24 years old, in order to help the people fight the drought, she resolutely "prayed for rain" and died of weakness. When she was dying, she said to herself: "I will die as a god, saving people from childbirth." Therefore, she has gradually become the most famous midwife god in Fujian who "specially protects boys and girls, promotes birth and protects children".The world is known as Mrs. Linshui, Mrs. Da Nai, etc., and Yong'an folks respect her as "Suntian Virgin".

After Chen Jinggu ascended to heaven, Chen Jinggu's disciples compiled a set of birth delivery techniques that Chen Jinggu compiled into a book and spread them widely. Later, more and more people believed in Chen Jinggu, and gradually established: Yinpai.

Yinpai people not only know how to deliver babies, but if they reach a certain level, they can even deliver babies to ghosts, gods, and even flowers and trees.

I didn't expect that both ghosts and gods needed to be delivered. As soon as I heard that ghosts and gods could deliver babies, I eagerly wanted to take a look. I didn't expect that my wish would come true that night.

Yinpai has been strong for a lifetime, and Yinpai disciples account for almost 80.00% of the ranks of stable women in the north.

However, with the introduction of Western medicine and the standardization of large hospitals, more and more people chose to go to large hospitals for delivery. The practitioners of Wenpo couldn't fill their stomachs at all, and Yinpai gradually fell into decline...

Up to now, there are no more than ten descendants of Yinpai, and my grandma is one of them, and she is also the eldest sister of Yinpai, the so-called leader!
