A Failure's hopeful Journey

The two figures of the gods vanished leaving You Xi Wang alone in the living room, with two coin-like tokens in his hand and a burning gaze. He walked outside the room holding the coins in his hands. He decided to tell his sister about this. His journey to find his sister was too short. He found her standing outside the guest hall. 

He grabbed her hand and flickered. Directly to the meditation room used by his father and mother. He waved his hand and cast a barrier around the room. You Zhichi asked, "What happened gougou?"

The boy replied, "The two gods left me these tokens. They said that if we can advance to the Immortal Ascension and ascend to the god realm, then we can follow them for some time and grow strong. There are still too many questions I had but they left before I could ask." he explained to her the whole thing including the duration and all.

You Zhichi saw his excitement and placed a hand on his head. She said, "Calm down. You can do it. You can ask these questions when you ascend to the god's realm."

The boy fell silent. He said, "We can do it. I am not ascending alone. Who will look after me there?"

The celestial maiden smiled at his words. She did not feel any urge to compete for ascension, to her it was trivial, but now that her brother has said that he needs her to ascend together with him, then she might as well try. She gave him a nod and the two came out. Suddenly she placed a hand around his shoulder and asked in a low voice, "So when can I expect a nephew or niece from you?"

But before walking to his room, he located Chen Qianbei and You Naixin in the garden and went up to them. Using shadow skip he came behind them in a blink. They did not even sense his existence and he scared them. 

The two ladies turned around and they had their swords on his neck. You Xi Wang vanished and appeared three steps away. He smiled and said, "Hohoho, let's spar? I am itchy to try."

Chen Qianbei smirked and said, "No hold bars?"

You Naixin nodded. The boy said, "How about two on one? I will go easy on you." his tone was cocky. Yet the two ladies were not angry. They knew what he was capable of, also he had just returned from a place where they have a mortality rate of 97 percent. 

Celestia came with Yuki and the other two guests in tow. Gena glanced at You Naixin and Chen Qianbei as she asked, "Who are they?"

Celestia spoke up in a loud voice, "STOPP!!!" her voice was enough to stop the people. She and Lily strode to the middle of the three people. 

Lily said, "We referee. Any objections?"

The three smiled and shook their heads, allowing them to do it. Celestia said, "Big brother, Cast level six protective arrays before you start." With that said the two girls retreated a distance. 

You Xi Wang nodded and insta cast nine, level six barrier arrays around the fighting area. He gave a thumbs-up to Celestia. The two girls exchanged a glance and deployed two micro-drones from their holo-phones. They were using the latest version, the ear held ones. They were live-streaming the event on Metro Frame. 

Their popularity? 2 billion followers. Good enough? Young and old, all liked them. They weren't low-key at all. They did not need to. Celestia spoke up in a cheerful tone, "Hello, everyone, today we have a special event. My big brother, You Xi Wang, came back from his military deployment, and he is going to spar with Grandaunt You Naixin and Aunt Chen Qianbie. They are all peak, primal soul cultivators. How about we learn some things together?"

Lily was an introverted one so she just let Celes do the talking. She said, "Contenders ready?"

You Xi Wang had switched on his nanoparticle battle suit and now was standing with brawler gloves and war boots on his feet. The ladies were also wearing their suits. Chen Qianbei in white and blue combination and You Naixin in black and red. They both had their hair tied now for convenience. 

You Zhichi and Yuki exchanged glances and shook their heads. The other three ladies of the harem also came at this moment. They were filled in about what was happening and they also shook their heads. The whole family was present, including Ryuken Kinben and Lilian. 

Alec was looking at it skeptically. Takeshi sensed his emotions and said, "He took me down in sword comprehension in one stroke when he was just in the spirit formation realm." His words shocked the former to the core.

Granny Xin moved behind Big brother but was blocked, Aunt Bei released the sword intent but this played against them.`` Her expert comment was a surprise to a lot of elders. 

Lily added, "You forgot that the two people in the confrontation are using opposite spiritual elements. They will not be able to balance it in such a short time. Nature of spiritual energy, chapter 6, equation of elements." Celestia stuck out her tongue and said, "What would I do without you?"

They shared knowledge and happiness among the people. You Zhichi noticed Maddison's surprise and said, "These two have finished Grade three-course using Xi Wang's codex account, teacher."

This shocked Maddison.

While the commentary kept going on, the three people kept fighting. It has been only four minutes, but the situation was at a stagnation point. You Ziyou shouted at his grandson, "BRAT, IF I LOST THE BET, I WILL HAVE YOUR BUTTS AGAINST MY STAFF."

Involved in the high-speed battle the boy smiled. He was countering the two people with ease but hearing the threat his hands started to move faster. His defensive parries turned into aggressive punching and palming at the two ladies. The most shocking thing was that he used two different elements facing the two. 

When attacking You Naixin, who used the Fire element, his palms and punches all carried the earth element. While facing Chen QIanbei, who was a master of water elements, he used lightning. The process was quick and the ground echoed with Clangs and Booms. Suddenly the fight stopped.

Ryuken commented, "What is that?" his voice was filled with surprise. Two phantoms, one fist, and one leg were formed in the void, they were just a few inches away from You Naixin and Chen Qianbei. If they were hit by this the damage would be significant but what surprised the people was that the two ladies had their weapons blocked by a sword and a spear held by You Xi Wang. 

Celestia excitedly yelled, "UNITY OF MAN AND WEAPON, using three weapons at a time is called a minor success, but big brother used a fist, a kick, a sword, and a spear. He reached the middle stage. WHOOP WHOOP."

She and Lily started jumping as they cheered. You Zhichi sensed confusion in Ryuken's gaze. She asked, "Senior, are you not familiar with this skill?"

Ryuken shook his head and said, "I am familiar with it, but since when did they change the number of weapons used? I remember that it used to be, mastery of 1 weapon for lower success, 2 for medium success, 3 for major success, 4 for great success, 5 for expert."

Celestia spoke, "Oh that? My big brother has mastery over 7 weapons now. He can use Fists, kicks, sword, spear, dagger, bow and arrow, and whips. He has realized the intents of these weapons as well. What we meant was a skill to use more than one weapon together at a time, 4 is the minimum criteria. Big brother was able to use a sword and spear simultaneously when he was in core formation."

Lily was nodding her head like a chick. These two did not realize that they just made a Nirvana Rebirth cultivator almost have an existential crisis.
