A Failure's hopeful Journey

The people were all shaken at You Xi Wnag's prowess. They did not expect this guy to have improved so much. The combatants distanced themselves and bowed to each other. Celestia spoke in an excited voice, "You Xi Wang, wins."

The family members started to cheer. Alec Kinben sighed and said, "Brother Takeshi, I believe what you said was correct." 

Takeshi just smiled, treating his words as gold. You Naixin sighed as she said, "Who would have thought that he became an even bigger monster when he went out?"

Chen Qianbei nodded in agreement. You Xi Wang walked over to them and with a smile, he said, "Come let us celebrate. It has been so long since I danced." he led the two women back to the crowd holding their hands. 

The atmosphere was cherry and the night passed amidst the dancing and chattering of the crowd. It has been a long time since they all relaxed. Celestia and Lily unknowingly fell asleep in You Xi Wang's arms. Thus the boy called for quits and went back to his bedroom. Emily and the others cleaned the room before going out earlier, otherwise, it would be awkward to sleep in the erotic smell of fluids. 

He set down the two girls in his arms down on the bed, tucked them in. Maya came out of his shadow and laid down beside them. You Xi Wang said, "Maya, you stay here, I will go to meditate."

Maya nodded and she closed her eyes. You Xi Wang gently walked out of the room and closed the door. He met some of the family members on the way to the meditation room of his parents. You can imagine how much they all enjoyed as some were being carried to the rooms by their wives. Even the first elder of the family. 

You Xi Wang said, "Granny Xue, do you need any help?" when he came across the two people.

Xia Xue, the wife of the first elder and his first granny, shook her head and said, "The old lady can still deal with it, Xiao Wang. How are you?"

You Xi Wang smiled and chatted with her as she supported the first elder. After ten minutes they parted, and the boy came to the cultivation room. He closed the door and sat down with his legs crossed. 

The system spoke in his mind, [I have completed all soul-related books in the codex. Syncing now.] as soon as the words dropped, You Xi Wang's closed eyes started to flicker. 

The boy was now accumulating the knowledge he needed to decide his future path. After twenty minutes, the system spoke up again, [Lucy, has improved a lot. How about we check her in the morning?]

You Xi Wang replied with a hum. He was assimilating the energy he gained during his sexual rendezvous with his lovely harem. The process of intercourse was something like a refinement. The ladies all had special traits that were still lying dormant. The boy only discovered it during his intercourse.

You Xi Wang asked, 'Why?'

You see, I exist outside the cycle of heaven, an existence that is not ruled by heavens but the Dao.'

You Xi Wang was stunned for a second and then said, "Elaborate."

The boy nodded.

You Xi Wang sighed and said, 'So it can be said that you exist beyond the heavens?'

I am the heat of that bakes you. So you may jump and ascend from the last layer to the first layer, but I will be everywhere around the layers. Also, I am just a particle of heat in the whole pot.]

This explanation shocked You Xi Wang. He did not expect the secondary soul inside him to be an existence of this level. He asked, 'Are there others like you?' 

[You will find them one day if you can leave behind the layers altogether.] The system did not deny the fact that there might be other existences like itself but it did tell You Xi Wang about the difficulty. 

The boy asked once more, 'What do you mean by leaving the layers behind?'

The system replied, [Exactly what you thought.] his tone was indifferent.

You Xi Wang just said, 'Why did you reveal this to me? Also, just so you know and not feel homesick, I will never leave anything behind in this life. I would rather live and die with my own friends and family.'

He had a firm resolve. Never will he make the same mistake of leaving behind his roots as he did in his last life. Even if that means giving up all the power in the world.
