A Failure's hopeful Journey

This past one week You Xi Wang was asleep, while his system still helped his host use this time to the maximum. You Xi Wang's body was constantly absorbing spiritual energy strengthening his cultivation base. His grandfather just told everyone that You Xi Wang was in a secluded retreat as he needed to digest his gains and only some members could approach his room.

Just as everyone was doubted something, the last day of the week arrived. You Xi Wang laid inside his room and his spiritual filter has grown so much that it now looked like a golden cocoon, Maya who sat beside his bed sat on her hind legs looking at You Xi Wang with an alert gaze. 

His family elders were also present on the spot. If You Xi Wang did not wake up today, then they would call in a specialist in soul injuries. Chen Qianbei also supported this decision of the elders after all she might be in the primal soul realm, but she was not an expert in soul injuries especially.

Just as they were about to discuss the golden cocoon shook slightly. Maya stood up with this movement. Everyone else also noticed this. The shaking of the cocoon got stronger.

He kept doing this and the pond grew bigger. As the pond kept growing bigger the golden cocoon faded. When the cocoon faded completely everyone heard a soft explosion from You Xi Wang's body signifying that he has broken through a boundary in his cultivation base. 

You Xi Wang realized that after the pond reached its limit, the space in his dantian expanded with a boom. He was now a 3rd level spiritual formation cultivator. As he felt an increase in his power, he slowly opened his eyes. Maya quickly jumped on his lap and rubbed her head against his stomach. He looked down and stroked her soft fur gently. He looked around and found all the elders looking at him with smiles. He smiled back and stood up while holding Maya in his arms. 

He greeted them all, "Greetings, Grandpas."

They all nodded and exchanged some pleasantries. The hub-hub calmed down and You Xi Wang asked, "How are things in the family. I want a report before dinner. Also, elders, you all have chosen your apprentices?"

The elders nodded, confirming his second question. As for the first question, You Qiangda replied, "Xiao Wang, thanks to your idea of Lithical Iron Motherboard has really a great achievement. Thanks to it, Tianlong Tech. secured the annual contract of supplying the product to the Council's Guardian Unit." 

You Xi Wang nodded with a smile this was good news. He then turned to look at his aunt, who naturally understood his intention and said, "The information regarding Seedling Inc. has been collected. Chen Qianbei was also very surprised because creating soul seals was a taxing task for anyone under the peak of the Primal Soul realm. Yet, this teenage boy could do it despite being just a Spiritual formation realm.

The elders then expressed their opinions, which turned into an argument, half of them supported if You Xi Wang could kill Ronald Colt while half of them favored making him a soul slave and act as a spy. You Naixin spoke at last, "You old coots, Xi Wang is still too young and his strength is not enough. If he kills that son of a bitch, then won't his scum of a father come looking for trouble? It is settled, Xi Wang, dear make that bitch a soul slave and use him against his father."

they all calmed down as they didn't dare to counter her logic. You Xi Wang nodded and said, "Not just his father but his whole family. The entire death sect. Everyone who is related to Edward Colt, they will pay the price." his eyes emitted a strong feeling to kill. 

Celestia who was listening from the side for a long time now reached her limit of patience and pouted, "Are you all done? I want to talk to my big brother too. We are all waiting here for our turns, you know. I will tell Granny Xin what you call her in secret." all the elders turned to look at Celestia, only to find her pouty little face. 

You Naixin's ears stood up at her words and she appeared next to her. She crouched down in front of Celestia and said in an affectionate voice, "Celes, my dear. Tell Granny, what did they say? I will get you... UMM, how about I teach you knife handling? You want to learn that right?"

You Naixin smiled as she looked at her first brother who shivered slightly under her gaze and muttered, "Tiger-hen, huh?"

Celestia continued to tell her how her brothers called her names in secret and how they said Celestia should tell no one about it or they will not play with her. her eyes turned misty as she sobbed saying, she didn't want to tell it to her but they just won't stop talking to You Xi Wang and this irritated her. She also said that now they won't talk to her because she spilled their beans.

You Naixin hurriedly took the little girl in her embrace and gazed at her brothers coldly as she asked, "Will you guys make our little fairy cry by not playing or talking to her?"

All of them said in perfect unison, "NO, WE DARE NOT."

You Naixin then said to Celestia, "See, they were all joking they won't stop talking to you Celes. Now you talk to Xi Wang and others. I will talk to them." with that said she put Celestia down with a kiss on her cheeks, making the little girl giggle.

She called her brothers outside the room, and shortly after cries echoed throughout the whole You family mention and the on-lookers just enjoyed the scene of You Naixin chasing her brothers and shaving their beard off. 

While inside the room You Xi Wang, You Zhichi, and Emily laughed out hard when they were told of this. Susan, who was clueless about this said, "Shouldn't you stop Granny Xin?"

You Xi Wang laughed even harder as he said, "That will make her shave them bald too."

You Zhichi said, "Don't worry, this is the way they express their love to each other." she also kept giggling. Emily said, "Just wait till tomorrow, you will find out during the breakfast tomorrow."

You Xi Wang picked up Celesia in his arms and said, "Well done, little fairy, Big brother will take you to eat out in a few days, okay?" his words were like music to the kid who agreed instantly. They kept talking inside the room. Celestia showed him a handmade get well soon card and other gifts. While You Zhichi just scolded him for getting hurt and so with his girlfriends. Susan has taken up residence in the mansion too, after her mother left for the Council.

The day ended. You Xi Wang decided on his next step. Tomorrow morning another attack will be put into action.
