A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Xi Wang stayed in his office going through the reports. The sun was already setting when he was done with it. He heaved a sigh and used the screen embedded in his worktable and called Stella to his cabin. He leaned back in the chair, giving himself some monetary rest. The door was knocked, and he said, "Come in."

Stella entered the cabin and stood facing You Xi Wang, who was sitting in a lax manner. She smiled and said, "Boss, don't overwork yourself."

You Xi Wang shook his head with a smile and gestured her to take a sit. Stell settled in a chair opposite him and waited for him to speak.

You Xi Wang spoke, "At this moment our company holds 78 million credits in funds which can be mobilized at any moment, while another 5 million worth is in the form of buildings and vehicles."

Stella nodded, while You Xi Wang continued, "Last year we were rising till the first quarter, after that our profits took a dip leaving us barely anything. So, till now, our input is equal to our output. This won't be good enough as a foundation."

Stella said, "Boss, we have never seen a loss since the company started. Is that not good enough as a foundation?"

You Xi Wang stood up and kept shaking his head as he said, "No losses do not make you profitable Aunt Stella, we only grow when we show some improvement. This stagnation is because people in this company suffering from tunnel-vision. Too focused on what everyone else is doing. If you don't make your way, you will be stuck in this rat race forever."

Stella, who kept her gaze locked on the boy walking back and forth, felt astonished. This way of thinking was exactly the problem of this company. The development has come to a point where they don't see the need to improve. She asked, "Then what do we do about it, Boss."

You Xi Wang smirked and said, "Acquire three companies, first a leather works factory, second a woodworks factory and for the third one arrange a meeting with the boss and management of 'PRO-CODE' even if it is an hour later."

Stella was shocked, "Boss, the first two are still understandable as you described the product idea in the morning, but why are we meeting with the people from PRO-CODE?"

"You will know soon. Just get it done." You Xi Wang spoke with a dazzling smile. 

Stella nodded and stood up to leave the Cabin when she heard You Xi Wang calling her. She turned, and he said, "I would assign Mr. Morgan Stoinis to work with you on this. Also, I apologize to make you guys work till late." 

Stella nodded with smiled and said, "It's fine. We can use some work." and left the cabin.

You Xi Wang used the table again and called in the Chief Negotiator and market analyst, Morgan Stoinis, to his cabin. The latter soon came in and saw You Xi Wang strolling in his office in a leisurely manner. 

He smiled and asked, "Do you have something for me? Boss."

You Xi Wang asked him to take a seat and said, "Mr. Stoinis, I need you to work together with Stella and prepare the groundwork to acquire some factories. I don't mind if they are small, but I want them to be good at what they do. They can keep their name and they can also manage the factories, but they will work for us. Buy them out and pay them to work for us. Also, prepare a negotiation pitch with PRO-CODE. I want that Oldman to work for us too. It is time he pays his dues."

Morgan Stoinis was stunned, but he quickly gained his composure back and asked, "Boss, it will be done in two days."

You Xi Wang replied, "I need it all wrapped up by midnight. You can take off tomorrow when it is done."

Morgan again asked, "Boss, but what is the rush?"

You Xi Wang replied, "Those on the top of the stairway will create difficulties if they got a wind of it."

Morgan Stoinis was a clever and experienced man. He quickly understood that You Xi Wang wanted to get this all done before the news leaks out to The Mirai Group. He nodded and left the cabin after he assured You Xi Wang to see this task finished by the morning at the latest.

You Xi Wang assigned Gerrard to keep these things under a wrap. He wanted to play safe until it was all settled and they reap the profits. He stood by the window gazing outside while lost in thought. Three hours passed since he assigned them to this work. He only came back from his deep thoughts when he heard a knock on the door.

He replied, "Come in." The door opened and a white shadow flashed and jump in his embrace. He caught the furred creature in his arms and smile. Maya let out cheerful sounds as she rubbed her head on his chest. Your Xi Wang stroked her furred gently. He gazed towards the door and saw a little girl wearing blue jeans and a white shirt pairing it with white bellies enter the room carrying a box. 

You Xi Wang approached her after putting Maya on the table. He took the box from her with a smile and put it on the table. He crouched in front of the girl and said, "How did my little fairy arrive here?"

This girl was none other than Celestia, who smiled brightly and said, "Big sis Susan wanted to bring you dinner. So we came with her. Uncle Robert drove us in the mag-lev."

You Xi Wang rubbed her forehead with a smile, "Thank you."

Celestia pouted, "I don't want to thank you. I want a hug just like you gave one to Maya. Also, Big sis Zhichi helped Celes buy clothes like you, hehe..." her adorable gestures were enough to make You Xi Wang feel relaxed, washing up all his fatigue.

You Xi Wang laughed and picked her up in his arms. Susan walked into the room wearing a grass green blouse and black wide-leg pants. Her heels make a knocking sound as she walked. She smiled when she saw You Xi Wang and Celestia having fun. 

He mouthed thank you after he saw her while she just shook her head. He put Celestia down and embraced Susan for a bit. Celestia walked around the room and looking at the laser curtain shelf wanted to touch it when You Xi Wang said, "Celes, that is dangerous."

She stopped and stuck out her tongue at him. They all had a meal and Stella called informing him that the meeting is arranged. They will have to arrive at PRO-CODE's office in an hour.

You Xi Wang successfully sent Celestia back home but not before he promised to take her out on a holiday. Susan was reluctant, but she understood that his work was important. Maya used a sure kill technique and stayed by his side, the puppy eyes. After the two of them left You Xi Wang left to attend the meeting with Stella and Morgan Stoinis, while Gerrard and some juniors were tasked to sign the deal with two other companies.
