A Failure's hopeful Journey

The crowd inside the conference hall had a perplexed expression when You Xi Wang stood up with a smile on his face. 

You Xi Wang had his gaze fixed on Robin Fisher's face, and he spoke, "You are just as my father said a disappointment. Say Oldman Shark, did you suffer some trauma in your youth, or were you like this from the start. I wonder how your parents felt after they got to know your nature. A false pretense through and through"

Everyone was dumbfounded, Robin Fisher himself was no exception. He never in his wildest imagination thought a teenager calling him Shark and questioning his way of existence. He was livid, he released the pressure of the top-level spiritual formation cultivator but, You Xi Wang waved his hand and the pressure dispelled. 

Robert stood up with his brows shaking in anger, he yelled, "BRAT, YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOUR SENIORS. GET OUT BEFORE I TEAR YOU TO PIECES."

You Xi Wang only sneered and said, "Oldman Shark, do you have any respect for the deceased? Do you have any manners? Despite standing in your grave till your waist, you talk to your juniors in such an abusive language? After all that you expect the other party to be respectful to you? Shameless old man, who do you think you are? And you said you will tear me to pieces?" he let out a low whistle. 

Maya appeared on Oldman Shark's shoulder and bit into his flesh. Oldman Shark had no chance of defending himself. On his sides, Petra and Carl wanted to make a move on the beast but when they saw Maya gnawing on Robin's shoulder so hard they hesitated. You Xi Wang let out another whistle and Maya vanished for a bit before reappearing on You Xi Wang's shoulder. 

"BRAT, I WILL GO TO THE COUNCIL. HOW DARE YOU USE A BEAST TO ATTACK ME." Shark bellowed while holding his shoulder.

You Xi Wang only chuckled and said, "Oldman are you sure about that?"

Robin frowned and before he could say anything, he realized that his shoulder was not hurting anymore. He checked to see where the wound was but found nothing. He was confused, he heard a mocking voice, "Too old to differentiate the reality from the illusion old man. That was how you were in the past and this is how you are when old. Do you think I am afraid of The Council? A lot of people die in disputes. I am of a lower cultivation base than you. Calling it self defense will suffice."

"BRAT, EVEN YOUR FATHER WASN'T THIS BRAZEN." Robin Fisher(Oldman Shark) bellowed. 

You Xi Wang started laughing as he moved, in a blink, he was in front of him, his arm rested on his shoulder, the wind around them was sharp. The former spoke, "If not because of the value my parents upheld. Let alone me, my whole family would have erased you and your people from existence on the very day you insulted them."

Watching that Robin Fisher was suffocating, Carl Herald shouted, "You Xi Wang, how dare you? You can forget about doing any business with our company now. Get out or I will call the enforcers from The Council." he pressed an SOS button on the table alerting the security guards in the edifice. 

The guards rushed and came in the door very quickly. You Xi Wang removed his hand from Robin Fisher's shoulder and the wind calmed down. He looked at Carl Herald and said, "At first, I wanted to acquire this company and leave you guy for the management. I will still achieve the goal to acquire this company but it will be hostile."

He walked towards his team of executives and, "Miss Petra, you should be very well aware of the state your company is in. Your Grandfather is a narrow-minded person and he would rather let all the employees of the company go jobless and close down than work for Tianlong Tech or any other firm. This guy liked The Mirai Group, huh, that piece of filth disciple of his is now a worm sticking on to Edward Colt's ass along with a significant number of your staff. I hope you still see the bigger picture. The offer is on the table by the time we are out of this building."

After this, he left without once turning back. Stella gave a disdainful look to Robin Fisher and followed, only Morgan Stoinis and his secretary stood by. Robin Fisher scowled, "Why are you standing there? Get lost and babysit that kid, Morgan."

They were both old people and obviously knew each other. Morgan Stoinis shook his head and spoke, "Why did you have to call out his parents Oldman. If you don't respect anyone why would they respect you? I only stayed back because I wanted to show your granddaughter and your chief programmer Carl a manifest about the policies my boss implemented in Tianlong Technologies the day he took charge, which happens to be today as well."

He gestured to his secretary who passed the two people to paper-thin glass screens. The two people hesitated but then still skimmed through the content on the screen. They exchanged a look and found each other surprised. Petra took the lead and said, "Mr. Morgan, we accept your proposal."

Robin Fisher who was rubbing his sore shoulder stopped and looked at his granddaughter. He called her out, "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING PETRA?"

Petra looked at him and said, "Grandpa, first you look at what they did, and then you act this way."

She passed him the screen, Oldman Shark gritted his teeth and took it. After looking through this he could not point out one thing which would be wrong. Morgan Stoinis knew what he was looking for and said, "You won't find anything wrong. Our boss made all these policies in the general meeting with the votes and support of the whole company. When I say the whole company, I mean all the staff members, from executives to ground workers. Now, what is your answer, mind you, not much time is left before Boss takes action. Believe me, he will do what he said."

Robin Fisher exhaled heavily and said, "Fine, we agree."

Morgan used his Holo-phone and called You Xi Wang who was just about to take a step out of the building entrance, he said as soon as the call connected, "Boss, they agreed. We can talk further about the acquisition."

You Xi Wang replied, "You can talk about the process on your own. You are aware of the terms and conditions, I will send Stella back. Also, add one more term. That Oldman goldfish will not have any decision making authority in the company all his rights will be transferred to his granddaughter. I don't want that wrinkled soggy ball sack interfering our progress by his shit-filled brain"

You Xi Wang's words were heard by everyone because Morgan has intentionally set the call on speaker, Robin Fisher almost puked out blood out of anger. Petra, on the other hand, had her eyes lit up. She was now very curious about getting to know more about You Xi Wang.

You Xi Wang sent Stella back to see through the transition and sat inside his vehicle with Maya sitting in his lap. Just as he was about to enter meditation, his Holo-phone vibrated. It was Gerrard who called him. He picked it up and allowed Gerrard to speak. 

"Young Master the deal is done and the process is complete. Both the owners are happy to work under us. We now own, Sarangi Music Instruments and Chikara Woodworks. They both will be meeting you in your office tomorrow. Is there anything else for me to do, Boss?"

You Xi Wang spoke as he kept stroking Maya's back, "Good job, Uncle Gerrard it has been hard on you. Tell your juniors to complete the process of registration and licensing with the Council first thing in the morning. Also, ask one of them to prepare a report about these two people. I need it to be through and on my table in the morning. They will be paid overtime. That is all for now."

Gerrard replied in affirmation and wanted to ask something but hesitated, You Xi Wang guessed his hesitation and said, "Don't worry, the goldfish is now in a pot."

Gerrard took a couple of moments to comprehend what You Xi Wang meant and he was surprised by this new, he congratulated him and disconnected the call to get his job done. You Xi Wang went into meditation, what he did not knew was awaiting him the next morning was not only some official work but also a new moniker for his deeds tonight. 

After disconnecting his call, Gerrard first called You Zhichi informing her about the wonderful task accomplished by her brother in one night. He also instructed his subordinates and obviously shared the news with them as he was feeling ecstatic about You Xi Wang thrashing Robin Fisher.

Morgan and Stella exited the building with a big wide grin on their faces, while Carl Herald followed them to the vehicle. After exchanging a small talk about a prosperous work term, You Xi Wang left straight for home as he felt exhausted. He just wanted to sleep.
