A Father's Duty

After the trio finished eating, he told them to take a bath with their mother. The excited Kagura immediately ran towards their mother's room and pulled Irene to take a bath with them. Meanwhile Noctis used the bathroom on the second floor to take a bath himself.

When he finished cleaning himself, he knocked on Dimaria's room and told her that she needs to go down and start her training. He then went up and helped the kids dress up, he even saw Irene covered in towel but of course he isn't gonna shy away and he basked in the glory of Irene's sėxy body.

After Noctis helped the trio dress up, he then started braiding their hair while Irene went back to their room and dressed up. After their hair was fixed, the kids ran down to play with Dimaria in the second floor while Noctis went back to their room and saw Irene fixing her hair by herself. Noctis had thought of it for a long time and thought that he should share his plan with Irene.

He sat down besides Irene and hugged her body. Irene noticing her husband's strange behaviour suddenly asked.

"What's the matter dear?" Irene asked.

Noctis didn't answer but instead kissed Irene's nape once and helped her arrange her hair. While arranging Irene's hair, Noctis finally spoke.

"Irene, do you remember when I told you I'm going to make this place a paradise?" Noctis asked and Irene nodded slowly, trying to figure out Noctis' intention.

"I have already started it by asking Fenrir to clear out all the sleeping terrors in the wasteland of death." Noctis paused as he checked Irene's face.

"After Fenrir clears out the hidden dangers, I'm going to transfer the Tree of Life outside. It may cause a lot of commotion that's why I'm going to station Fenrir there to guard it so it could let it grow." Noctis continued while Irene is looking at Noctis. She feels like there is something else about it that she couldn't figure out.

"Then I'm going to other worlds to find something that would stimulate the growth of trees and something that can move earth and turn it into mountains." Noctis said making Irene raise her curiosity. He then finished fixing her hair. When Irene saw the design of her hair, her body shook. It was the same hairstyle she always had when she was a princess of Dragnof Kingdom. It was also the same hairstyle she had when she transformed back into a human after being a dragon.

"Do you think father-in-law will like me?" Noctis asked as Irene suddenly hugged Noctis with tears on her eyes. She immediately knew what Noctis is implying as she sobbed on her man's ċhėst.

"Thank you..." Irene said as she continued sobbing.

Yes, Noctis plans on using the gate connected back to 400 years ago and bring Irene's father to the future, like how Anna Heartfilia went to the future with 5 baby dragon slayers in tow.

Although Noctis have everything planned out, he still lack some things he needed to travel back in time and return in the current time. He would wait for the system's upgrade before making his next step.

"Maybe we could get a few dragon offspring and maybe get your dragon companion as well. Then we could erase the name wasteland of death forever." Noctis said and Irene raised her head. She still has her puffy eyes and Noctis was absorbed by her cuteness once again as he cleared the tears on Irene's face.

"Then what are we going to name it?" Irene asked.

"The Valley of Dragons." Noctis smiled and Irene leaned on Noctis' ċhėst once more.

After coaxing Irene, he went down with Irene in his embrace and called the kids on Dimaria's room to come down.

When the two arrived, Ram and Rem were cleaning the first floor and the room was spotless and shining. Android 18 were prepping ingredients needed for today's menu.

"Ram, Rem, this is my wife, Irene. Later you'll meet my kids and my disciple." Noctis said and the two bowed their heads to Irene.

"Welcome Master." Ram said while Rem is timid as ever that Ram had to nudge Rem for her to get over her shyness.

"W-welcome... Y-your highness." Rem said which made Noctis put on a wry smile.

"Just call her Mistress Irene like everyone else does. No need for something like 'your highness'. We are just your average people living in this wasteland." Noctis said and this time Irene had a wry smile.

'If you're average then everybody else in the world is trash.' Irene thought.

"How old are they?" Irene suddenly asked after seeing the twins' figure.

"They are 18 years old and they are twins." Noctis replied and Irene looked at the two who are still bowing their heads.

"All right, enough. Go back to cleaning. Later you will learn the basics of the recipe of the tavern from me while Android 18 will teach you the rest." Noctis said and Ram nodded while Rem looked like she escaped death sentence.

Soon, the kids went down with Dimaria in tow. She had been annoyed as her training was halted by the intrusion of the chipmunks.

"Dimaria, Erza, Pitou, Kagura. These are the new members of the house, Ram and Rem. They are your big sisters, they are older than you, at least by more than a decade." Noctis said as the twins bowed their heads to the kids this time.

"Greetings... er..." Ram didn't know what to fall them so ahe tried to look for Noctis' help but Kagura spoke.

"Just call us by our name." Kagura said.

"I can't do that, you are much important than me." Ram said.

"I don't know who or what's important... but let's play!" Kagura enthusiastically said leaving a dumbfounded Ram and Rem. The two looked at Noctis for help but they saw that Noctis was already in the bar counter and helping android 18 in prepping the ingredients.

"Will you play with us? Ram-nee~, Rem-nee~?" Kagura asked the two.

Ram and Rem thought that they are just maids who are indebted to Noctis so they will do their best to complete their work but they didn't know how to respond to such a question.

"Give up. If Kagura decided on one thing, she won't change her mind." The voice of Noctis further confused the two as to how they would react to Kagura's question. In the end they have no choice but to reluctantly agree to their request.
