He never really asked her whether she dated or whether she was in any relationship. But he knew a few men proposed her and heard about only two rejection stories. But thinking it as her past, he never thought it could be her first time with him.

Even though he always said she was still young, she wasn't that young to be single for so long where many girls and boys start to hook up, date at a very young age. He knew Jai and Loran dated and the Barton family never stopped her to date or choose a partner for herself.

Even though he said he didn't want to hurt her, he didn't want her first time to be in his boring office.

It took him a long time before turning off the shower and saw Sky still lazing in the bathtub. Actually she wanted to wash up and clean her hair but she was too shy to get up as Arlo was behind her in Shower glass cubicle.

He put on his bathrobe before going to her. "Isn't water cold by now? Why are you still here?"

Sky sank lower in the tub, "I will wash up and come, you leave."

He ignored her blushing, he carried her up. "Arlo! I said I will do it."

Seeing her cover her face, he let out a chuckle, "That's not what you should cover. isn't it?"

What he said made her waver thinking she should cover other parts and uncovered her face to see him chuckling again.

He let her down and turned on a hot shower before exiting as he said, "Is there anything I haven't seen?"

Sky's face turned scarlet red, 'Will I get teased for everything now?' She wiped her imaginary tears and washed away the soap foam and realized there was no shampoo inside the shower block.

She put her hand out, "I want shampoo."

But Arlo pulled her out and wrapped her in a bathrobe which was too big for her small frame. He turned off the shower and washed her hair himself near the bathtub.

Sky felt like she was getting saloon services by President Smith who had the image of the evil ruler for everyone other than her but she remained silent until he asked, "Why didn't you tell me, it was your first time?"

Sky again started turning red thinking about what they did. Getting no answer he changed the question, "You never dated?"

Sky shook her head.

"Does that mean you never accepted anybody's proposal?"

Sky nodded.

"Oh! Were you waiting for me?"

He paused his hands while cleaning away shampoo from her silky hair before he spoke,

"In my head, I fought my fears,

In my eyes, I stored my tears,

In my heart, I held my pain,

There were feelings which I would always refrain.

.

."

Sky bit her lips, her eyes turned involuntarily red and filled with tears. She looked at him say each word she wrote in her old diary.

He had lowered his head hence he didn't see her till he finished. She couldn't understand why she felt like crying hearing it as she accepted it already.

By the time he saw her, tears were rolling down on her cheeks. He wanted to ask why she wrote it, but he couldn't make himself voice them.

He quickly wrapped her hair in an absorbent towel and pulled her to embrace. Silent tears changed to cry with frequent sniffs. She heard him apologize for reminding her about the past even though he didn't know the reason.

But she, in turn, apologized to him for being rude when he asked about it in the Barton mansion. But that time she never thought they would be at this stage.

She soon stopped weeping and he wiped her face with a wet towel before taking her out. He didn't dare to ask again and decided to forget about it as he dried her long and lush hair in silence.

She saw him in the mirror and spoke. "I never dated and never was in a relationship with anybody. That was because of Dad."

"Dad? You mean Dad David?" Arlo knew George never could hurt her. David too but their circumstance could have hurt her baldly.

Sky nodded. Arlo roughly got an idea about it and heard Sky speaking about it.
