She dashed inside and saw grim-faced Loran and Jai. Sighing parents with a man in fifties who had no expression. But they weren't talking when she entered.

Seeing the atmosphere, she didn't care about the guest went towards Jai but paused near Loran seeing reddened eyes and she could say he had cried.

But Sky knew he wasn't somebody to cry over a small matter. She had noticed her parents and the man standing up looking at her.

Thinking they must have scolded Loran for something, She hugged him and tried to console.

"Loran! what happened? Why were you crying? There is nothing we couldn't solve. Tell me what happened..." She coaxed him for a long time but he started sniffing to stop himself from crying.

"Sister Sky, There is something we... we couldn't so..." he choked up and couldn't continue to talk.

She started chiding him and others for making a mountain out of a molehill as Loran never did any such mistake which couldn't be solved.

Nobody dared to tell her anything until George made her sit and broke the news.

"He is my college friend. David Harley..."

Sky cut him. "Dad, I don't care about it. What's important now is Loran."

George made her sit again seeing her get up and continued, "He is your father."

Sky felt hard to breathe for a second, "Dad, that's a pathetic joke. Did you tell that to Loran? You are just unbelievable, How..."

Sky got up from the couch as she continued and went to Loran. "Why are you taking it that seriously? Dad is my father. Don't cry now."

She wasn't sure if she was telling herself or Loran. But Sky who was always good-mannered in the house lost her cool.

"Dad! How can you say such jokes? If you don't know to crack them, you don't have to. When have we ever asked you to change."

Georgia couldn't control and burst into tears. Sky knew Georgia as a strong woman who would never cry in front of strangers.

Her eyes fell on the expressionless man who was in a business suit standing tall and she charged up to him.

"You! Mister, Who the hell are you? What did you say to all which made them believe your nonsense....." Sky continued but got no reply from him.

Jai pulled her to embrace and held her tightly as he spoke. "Dad is right. He, David Harley is your... biological father."

Sky froze. She knew Jai would never joke about such things. But she wasn't ready to accept and tried to break free from him repeating 'No no...' in her head.

Jai held her tighter. Her tone cracked up, "Brother Jai, if I have done something, you can punish me, why are you saying all these? I will do everything as you say, can you please not say such things?"

How can my world turn upside down?

From the time she could remember, she was with the Barton family, her family. She had seen pictures of her being a child and playing in Georgia's arms.

How can I be somebody's daughter?

Jai's grim voice sounded resolute, "Sky! It's... true."

He finished saying and Sky fainted. Since she was in Jai's arms, she didn't fall down. When she woke up, it was the next day morning and she was in the hospital.

She felt everything as a nightmare and noticed Jai holding her hand which she had clutched him with all her might.

Sensing her movements, Jai woke up whose head was resting on edge of the bed sitting on the chair.

Sky started crying as she said, she got a nightmare where a man saying he was her father and even Jai said it was true.

It created a lump in his throat and he couldn't respond to it.

He wanted to say 'It was just a bad dream. Don't cry.' But she wasn't dreaming. It was her real-life nightmare. It was their nightmare.

Due to which she didn't have consciousness and wasn't ready to wake up for nearly twelve hours.

Jai was still thinking what to say, hearing her sobs, Loran bolted in followed by her parents and David.

Sky froze seeing David. She didn't make a single sound or responded to anyone as her eyes wide open seeing David who had worried expression.

Jai had to lightly shake her to see any reaction but Sky screamed frightening everyone. Doctors and nurses came rushing inside.

Sky got off from the bed and started pushing David outside. "I don't know you. I am not your daughter. Are you threatening my parents? You rich people have a dirty mind. Go away. You are not...."

Sky didn't let David stop anywhere and pushed him till the entrance without hearing him or anybody else. She didn't even notice she had slapped everyone's hands whoever tried to stop her.

She had used all her energy as she continued. When she almost reached the entrance and pushed him out, she passed out and fell on the floor like a lump.

Even though everyone was frightened by her outburst, it was a common reaction after the shock.

But seeing her collapse again, Georgia fainted who had cried all night. She knew about Sky's identity, she or others never expected David's sudden arrival. Instead, they never wanted David to come.

Georgia was on IV and Sky went through full body check with all kinds of brain-related tests and scanning in the capital before returning back to the same hospital.

But there was no problem in any of her reports which psychologist confirmed it was due to shock which she wasn't ready to accept.

Sky didn't wake up till late night from the morning scaring everyone. David had arranged a Helicopter to take her and bring her back for advanced tests that weren't in town A, she didn't wake up by any movements.

Doctors gave few more hours of time to announce as she was in a vegetative state.

Jai had asked David to stay back in the capital while bringing her back to the hospital from the capital.

Sky woke up feeling her head heavy. But she was on the bed weeping quietly.
