Angel

Chapter 3

Meeting ③

The Mantegna family is the Mafia who rules on Eastschist. Even Angel, who wasn’t familiar with the outside world, had heard about it.

“I didn’t know that I had to pay for that.”

“Your ignorance doesn’t concern us.”

“But… I don’t have any money…”

Seizing the hands of the man, Angel manages to get away from him and retreated steadily.

He worriedly thought to himself, I have to get out of this dangerous situation…

But he was caught again and pulled forward. A large hand seized Angel’s jaw, as the man brought his face closer with barely any distance left between them, and smiled contemptuously.

“Well, I’m relieved. We have some good quality goods here, you’ll soon bring in a lot of money.”

“Eh?”

“What does that mean?”, asked Angel, blinking his pale, blue eyes confusedly.

“I said, if you join to the Mantegna business, I’ll introduce you a lot of customers. There are only rich men, so even if you subtract the mediation fee from the money you’ll earn, you can still guarantee a good living. How about it? Isn’t that a good deal?”

The man’s proposition wasn’t disadvantages to Angel, after all, he came here to find some work. Rather than paying the hotel room fee and searching for customers here and there, it was better to have them come to his door step.

Angel nodded slowly.

“Well, it’s settled. Let’s go.”

The man hugged his shoulders, and promptly moved Angel forward.

—Then……

“—Wait a minute!”

Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice called out to him from behind.

Looking back, he saw a tall, dark-haired young man standing not far away from them.

He seemed to be in a hurry as he was still panting, and looked even a bit younger than Angel.

However, his alluring amber eyes looked very mature and glamorous.

As soon as their eyes met, Angel’s heart began to beat frantically.

What’s this feeling?

I can’t take my eyes off him. Angel’s gaze was glued to his amber eyes, as if having been sewn to them.

“Who? It’s none other than the Tikaani family’s boy.”

The voice of the man right next to Angel didn’t reach his ears.

The illusion that he and the boy were the only ones left in this world completely overwhelmed his mind. That feeling was so gentle and fluffy, yet he inexplicably felt the innermost part of his chest tightening at the same time. It was such a strange sensation.
