Angel

Chapter 5

Meeting ⑤

Suddenly, he stretched a long, slender finger and touched Angel’s eyes.

What a pretty hand… thought Angel. I’m sure he never went through any trouble, to have such a delicate hand.

“These beautiful eyes, too, might be scooped out, soaked in formalin and become part of some kinky collection.”

Even, if he may be right, Angel couldn’t help feeling angry.

He had a tall and well-built figure, an attractive face that could captivate anyone, and an imposing atmosphere which should only belong to alpha.

—Would such a person who had never met any trouble in life, be able to understand how I feel.

“It doesn’t matter if I’m made into a perverted old man’s toy or soaked in drugs. I have no place to go back to. Do you understand? This is the only way for a homeless omega like me to survive. I had him find me some work, and if I could get money out of it, I’m prepared to do anything!”

Shaking off his hand, Angel briskly started walking away.

“Hey! Wait!”

But soon, the man caught up to him, after chasing him for some time.

“Why, let go! It doesn’t matter anymore, does it? Just let go!”

“I won’t leave you alone. I’ve been watching you. You’re going back to the same place, right? I can’t turn a blind eye.”

“What? Are you, by any chance, a stalker? Or else, will you buy me?”

Angel didn’t mean to say that. His mouth moved on its own.

However, the man took Angel’s words seriously and had a troubled look on his face.

“I’m sorry… I can’t do that… I… I’m still a minor…”

—I guess so…

Although he now looked more like an adult, Angel’s first impression of him, when he came running and was out of breath, was that of someone the same age or even younger than himself.

“A minor… How old are you?”

“Eighteen……”

“You’re a junior? A high-schooler?”

“… Yes,”

When he realized that a high school student, who was even younger than himself, was worried about him being in danger or going home late, Angel felt miserable, and laughed at himself.

“What the hell? Even a high school kid would worry about me.”

“A kid… How old are you?’

“… nineteen.”

Replying honestly, Angel glanced at his amber eyes for a moment and smirked.

“What’s wrong with only one year of difference?”

“It’s the difference between a high schooler and a working adult!” retorted Angel, and now he couldn’t stop laughing out loud.

“Ah, it’s cute when you’re so serious.”
