Chapter 41 - Earth Magic

"Well then, I'm going to learn some earth magic. Do you have any idea of a good demon?"

I asked Crocell and Focalor standing in front of them.

When it came to fire, water, and wind, the next magic I had to learn was earth magic.

The four magic arts of fire, water, wind, and earth are called natural magic arts, and those arts are said to be the natural magic to learn.

There is even a saying that you can finally start your career as a magician when you learn natural magic.

"In this case, I would suggest Agereas, the second in line."

"Oh, I'm sure Agereas will have no problem teaching you."

Agereas, the second in line.

After listening to their opinions, I decided to summon Agereas, since he seemed to have no problem.

But there's one problem.

"Can I summon four of them at the same time?"

The three people I'm summoning now are Crocell, Focalor, and Orobas, who isn't here.

I'm worried because I've never summoned four people at the same time.......

"Then why don't we evict Crocell for once?"

Focalor suggests, referring to Crocell by name.

But Crocell said: "Don't try to evict me without permission!"

She complained.

"No, I want to test my limits, so I'll just keep summoning them."

Surprisingly, I managed to summon three of them at the same time, and I might be able to manage four as well.

That's why I started summoning Agereas.

"I command thee strictly in the name of Norman. I command thee in the name of Norman that thou shalt appear as a gale and show thyself in the magic circle. Come here from any part of the world and answer all my questions with reasonable answers. Appear without delay in peaceful form to make my wishes come true. Come, second in the line, Agereas!"

Immediately, I felt the magic in my body diminishing.

I managed to swallow down a slight gulp of nausea.

I can't stop sweating.

The magic circle did not light up.

It seems that it is impossible to summon four demons at the same time.

"So, I'm sorry, but I'd like one of you to leave......."

As soon as he said that, the two of them glared at each other.

"Focalor, I want to stay with Master Norman, so you must leave!"

"I'm the one who wants to be with my master. I am a servant of my master and I can't leave him even for a moment."

Neither of them seemed willing to give in, and they continued to glare at each other.

"Well, I'll summon you as soon as I can."

I said, trying to soothe them.

"But still, no! I really missed you the last time I was gone."

Crocell hugged me.

Instantly, a warm and soft feeling spread through my body.

This kind of skinship makes me feel embarrassed, so please don't do it.

"Don't you dare touch my master, you little fallen angel."

Focalor pulled on her hair to tear Crocell off.

"Geez, please stop pulling my hair. It hurts like hell!" "Then get away from Master now."

"No! As an angel, I have a duty to wrap people in warmth like this."

"You are a fallen, filthy demon and you're going to spread that filth when you attach yourself to your master, so stop it now."

"Calling people filthy is disgusting! Demons are the worst, aren't they?"

You're a demon, too, Crocell.

After some arguing, the two finally began to beat each other to a pulp.

"Hahaha, let's just fight each other until one of us dies."

"Haha, okay, it's the most obvious way to beat you up."

They glared at each other with bloodshot eyes.

Both of them were so focused on each other that they didn't even notice that I was chanting.

Gulp, and the two of them stopped as if time had stopped.

"Permission to speak."

"I'm sorry, I got carried away."

"I'm sorry, Master."

Both of them realized that they had become heated and expressed their remorse.

It's not that I'm mad at you, but I'm afraid this is going to be a disaster, so I cast a restraining spell.

"Then let's decide which of us will leave in a peaceful manner."

"What's the peaceful way?"

"Rock-paper-scissors, I guess."

So, we played rock-paper-scissors.

"Waaaaaah, oh no, I lost!!!"

"There is no way a fallen angel can beat me."

Crocell lost and Focalor won.

"Master Norman, please summon me again as soon as you can!"

Crocell clung to me, crying.

Incidentally, Fokalor was pulling again to try to pull Crocell off.

"All right. I'll summon you as soon as I can."

"Promise! It's a promise!"

Crocell was still crying and complaining.

It's not like this is a farewell, so you don't have to make such a big deal out of it.

I said my goodbyes to Crocell until she was satisfied, and then let her leave.

Okay, now I can summon Agereas, the second in the order.

It was with such excitement that I chanted the spell.

"I command thee strictly in the name of Norman. I command thee in the name of Norman, that thou appear as a gale and show thyself in the magic circle. Come here from any part of the world and give me a rational answer to all that I ask. Appear without delay in peaceful form to make my wishes come true. Come, the second in line, Agereas!"

The magic circle glows and a shadow appears.

It's a scene I've already seen many times.

"Hahahaha, you summoned me!"

The man who appeared was an old man.

But unlike Furukas, who looked as if he was going to die any day, the old man in front of me was muscular, with shiny skin and a strong appearance.

"Yes, I have summoned you."

"What is your name, my master?"

"My name is Norman."

I tried to be as polite as possible.

"I've summoned you to do me a favor, Mr. Agereas."

"Well, go ahead and say it."

"Please teach me earth magic."

What do you think?

There are few demons that have ever listened to me honestly when I asked for a favor.

It is more likely that he will refuse this time as well.

"Very well!"

He answered immediately.

"I'll teach you everything I know about earth magic!"

Agereas declared in a loud voice.

It seems that Crocell was right when she said that Agereas was not a scary person.

It looks like things are going to be straightforward this time.
