"Today I will be giving a lecture on the magic of the earth system."

Mr. Redon was standing on the podium, starting his lecture.

As usual, Professor Redon seemed to be in a bad mood today.

"Earth is more complicated and difficult to handle than the other three systems."

The students then began to practice earth magic, each looking at a grimoire.

"Norman, how are you doing?", asked Professor Redon.

"I don't think I can do earth magic yet."

"I see."

"But I have learned wind magic."

I remembered that I couldn't do wind magic the other day, so I said that I have learned it.

"Oh", Mr. Redon nodded.

"Let me see!", he said.

I nodded and held out my left hand to chant.

"Wind, arise."

Immediately, a magic circle appeared in the air and a wind started to blow.

"So, you've learned to draw magic circles in the air. I thought I hadn't taught you that yet."

"I taught myself."

I'm a little nervous that by showing him my magic, he'll know I'm trying to summon demons.

"Hmm, at this rate, I think you'll be able to get into the academy."

"Hmm, I hope I can get in......."

"Is there some other problem?"

"No, it's my problem."

I've been kicked out of my parents' house, so it may be difficult for me to attend the academy.

Although I had learned at least some magic, I am not a very good magician if I could only use fire, water, and wind magic.

If I could learn at least one unique magic, I could be proud of myself.

I don't think my father would change his mind even if he saw me now.

I need to be more diligent.

That day, a story came up in the school.

Apparently, a new student had arrived at the school.

He was a former commoner who had recently been adopted by a nobleman, and he had an unusual background.

After hearing that, I knew that the new student was Dimito.

Apparently, Dimito was so good that he was transferred to the top development course class from the beginning.

When I asked about it more deeply, I was told that he had been picked a fight with a student because he was a former commoner, and since Dimito is the type of person who takes a fight when it's sold to him, the fight turned into a duel.

Incidentally, the opponent was Rikal, who had fought me before.

He said that he had been annoyed with me for a long time because he had lost against me before. That's why he picked a fight with Dimito.

That's how Dimito and Rikal ended up having a duel.

Rikal is one of the best students in this school. The only reason I was able to beat him before was because of Crocell's intervention. She is much stronger than he is.

Therefore, I predicted that Rikal would win.

The result was an overwhelming victory for Dimito.

I didn't see the duel with my own eyes, so I don't know what kind of fight they had.

But now that Dimito has won, he seems to be getting better and better.

On the other hand, I heard that Rikal's reputation dropped sharply when he lost.

After losing twice in a row, it was inevitable that his reputation would fall.

Well, someone had mentioned that the power in the school had changed a lot, but I guess it didn't matter much to me since I was failing in the lowest basic course.
