As The Wind Blows Your Scent To Me

Chapter 312 - [Bonus ] Are You Actually Taking This Opportunity To Admire Your Husband?

The three days and two nights stay at Himari's hometown ended in a blink of an eye. All four of them really enjoyed the days they spent there.

In the afternoons, as the heat got high, Akemi cut chilled watermelons for them. Chiharu and Izumi were happy to eat them while sitting on a platform under the tree in the yard. Chobi also got his share of a meal; his favorite wet food.

Himari asked Kazuya to cut another watermelon in half. She used the sweet and juicy fruit to make a cocktail drink by mixing the watermelon juice and yuzu juice.

The iced and refreshing cocktail was welcomed well by the children too.

On one of the nights, Yoshiro came with his jeep. He brought them to a summer festival in the neighboring town. This was the last festival before the arrival of autumn ushered out summer.

Himari and Kazuya brought the children with them, giving privacy to Akemi and Yoshiro to walk together behind. Their relationship was really good in the eyes of the newlyweds.

Before the family of four left, Himari had another heart-to-heart talk with Akemi.

The latter said she agreed to marry Yoshiro but, the matter won't be realized so soon. Akemi still wanted to give herself more time before entering a new phase with Yoshiro.

Himari didn't mind about it. She just reminded her mother to not get married secretly. Akemi responded with a glare.

After coming back from Himari's hometown, it was time to move her belongings out of the apartment. Himari and Kazuya distributed wedding candies to the neighbors first before finished packing the boxes.

Chiharu and Izumi offered to help. Himari and Kazuya just allowed them to pack the lighter things. She didn't have many large pieces of furniture. Kazuya borrowed Taichi's pickup truck to easily move all of the boxes to the villa.

"Ah, this crystal lamp."

"What is it, honey?"

Himari was putting her clothes inside a box when she heard Kazuya murmuring something.

Glancing behind her shoulders, she saw Kazuya standing next to the bedside table. He was holding something with both hands.

Kazuya turned around. He showed the lamp in his hands.

Seeing the lamp, Himari laughed softly. She stood up from the floor then walked to her husband.

"It's the rose quartz crystal lamp that you gave me," Himari smiled, "Hehe, even though Chiharu was the one who insisted."

She still remembered their encounter in the shop. Himari was disappointed because she didn't get to buy this lamp because Kazuya got it first. Never did she expect that the lamp would finally be hers in the end.

Because of this lamp, they met again after a chance yet weird encounter in the hotel three years ago.

Kazuya also was fond of this lamp because of the memory.

"Let's put it beside our bed?" He asked, lips curling up.

Himari agreed. She conjured up the image of their bedroom being basked under the lamp's pinkish glow in her mind.

"Our room would look so pretty~"

Kazuya's gaze became more tender.

After moving the boxes to the truck, they took a break by having lunch first. They had to begin cleaning the apartment soon. Instead of ordering takeaway, it was Aunt Mio who offered to cook them lunch.

"I'd miss you ah, Himari. You should drop by every time you can."

Aunt Mio was a bit regretful at the thought of losing a good neighbor. Although Himari didn't live here for years, she felt close to this young teacher.

"Hehe, I'll drop by if you would cook for me, Aunt Mio," replied Himari jokingly.

Before sundown, the apartment was already thoroughly cleaned by them. The floor appeared glossy under the lights. There was no speck of dust staining whether the floor, railings or windows.

After the landlady was satisfied with the condition of the apartment, the family of four returned to the villa. The boxes put inside the pickup truck would be unpacked tomorrow.

Himari officially moved out of the apartment.

Today was really a tiring day. They had a simple dinner before all of them went to bed.

Himari put Chiharu to sleep when Kazuya was having a shower. The dumpling wore a cream-colored nightdress with red floral prints.

"Chiharu's arms and legs hurt~"

A certain dumpling complained. Chiharu rolled on the bed. She was too exhausted until she forgot to ask for dessert after dinner.

"You've helped me a lot, Chiharu," Himari tucked the dumpling under a fluffy pink blanket. She gently stroked the little one's head, "Tomorrow, Aunt will make a delicious apple pie as a reward. Is that okay? We can eat it with vanilla ice cream."

The dumpling's eyes twinkled.

"Okay~ Yummy yum, Chiharu wants~ Hehe, good night, Aunt."

"Sleep well, darling."

Himari quietly left the dumpling's princess bedroom. After closing the door, she went to check on Izumi next.

The boy had already fallen asleep. Chobi curled up next to Izumi on the bed, his tail randomly flicked around.

"Don't disturb him, Chobi," Himari spoke softly to the tabby, "Let Izumi sleep well."

Chobi mewled.

Himari's feet brought her to the bedroom. She saw Kazuya sitting on the bed, shirtless. He was holding a box of pain-relief patches and a tube of ointment.

"Ah, let me help you."

Kazuya smiled seeing his wife hurrying to his side.

The main light had been switched off. Kazuya only turned on the rose quartz crystal lamp. The pink glow of the lamp dimly brightened the bedroom.

Himari climbed on the bed then kneeled behind her husband. She took a second to appreciate the tattoo on Kazuya's broad shoulders.

"Are your limbs aching a lot? Let me massage your shoulders, en?" offered Himari.

Kazuya didn't allow her to move anything heavy even though Himari insisted that she could do that much. It was inevitable for him to develop muscle pain after a day of hard work.

"Do you know how to, sweetheart? I don't want my shoulders to turn more painful," Kazuya cracked a joke.

Himari laughed in helplessness, "Quick, lie on your tummy."

Kazuya lay down on the bed after being told by his wife. Himari began massaging her husband's shoulders down to his back. She put on the right pressure with every turn of her hands.

Himari's skills were far inferior to professional masseurs but, they were still decent. She learned those skills from Granny Saichi when the old lady was a bit younger.

"Sweetheart, are you actually taking this opportunity to admire your husband's muscular body?"

Himari snorted hearing the shameless question.

"Yes, this chance is exclusively for me," answered her haughtily.

Kazuya burst into laughter, his voice was muffled down by the pillow under his face.

His aching back and limbs felt comfortable under his wife's soft hands. Never did Kazuya expect that Himari had a talent in this area.

After massaging his back, Himari moved to his calves.

"Himari?"

"Yes, hubby."

There was a smile in his voice as he called her name, blooming a smile on her face.

"Later, we'll have a home of our own. I mean, not the condominium but, a house with a yard," Kazuya laughed as an image crossed his mind, "We can decorate our home to your liking."

This villa is the abode for his brother and the siblings. Kazuya just temporarily lived here because of the circumstances. He didn't plan to settle down here.

Kazuya continued speaking.

"We can find a place where it's peaceful. Either still in the city or in the outskirts. We can even move to another city if you want."

Right now, both his and her jobs were in this big city. But, that might change in the future. After all, the possibilities are endless.

"Our children can play in the yard. I'd build a tent for them to play inside and maybe, install a swing too then... a pavilion for you to rest. As long as you and our children are happy living there."

Himari blinked. Suddenly, her eyes stung.

Her mind was drawn to the night when Kazuya confessed to her of his dream. He said it was just a simple one, to build a home for their little family.

"I'll wait for that day, honey," Himari's smile softened, "We can plant many flowers in the yard. You can paint there. Our children would admire your skills ah. They might boast to their friends."

"Hehe, if possible, we might even be able to send them to kindergarten and school together," said Kazuya, "After that, we can go and have our own sweet time."

Both of them continue sharing their dreams. No matter how small or insignificant they were, Himari and Kazuya had fun talking about them.

Later, Kazuya's voice grew quieter as his eyelids slowly closed. Himari smiled listening to her husband's faint snore.

Aye, he had fallen asleep after talking so much.

"Honey, you can't sleep like this," Himari grabbed Kazuya's shoulders, trying to make him lie on his back, "Turn over ah. You're heavy.... ah!"

Himari fell on Kazuya, falling headfirst on his bare chest.

In his drowsiness, Kazuya turned around before his arms reached out to his wife. He locked his arms around Himari's petite frame, not allowing her to move.

"Kazuya, hello~ Do you hear me?"

Kazuya grunted. His eyes remained close.

Himari knew that it would be hard to wake him up right now.

Kazuya didn't rest much ever since they began packing and cleaning the apartment. Even during lunch at Aunt Mio's apartment, he finished it fast before continuing working.

"Thank you for your hard work today, hubby~" Himari tilted up her head, lips smiling as she tenderly stroked Kazuya's face, "Sleep well."

Her words were only answered by his steady breathing.

Himari suppressed herself from laughing. She reached out a hand then pulled the blanket to cover them.

Her husband didn't wear a shirt tonight ah.. He might catch a cold if she didn't cover him.
