Awake on his bed

"uncle Marcos?"

Tobias asked in disbelief. He was standing there, his back was stiff.

When the trio heard him, they immediately turned to him, mirroring his expression.

It became silent for a while that you can hear a needle dropped.

The first one to recovered from the shock was his mother. His mother walked towards him hastily and wiped her tear streaked face.

"Toby, baby you're still awake? Why don't you go back to your room and sleep?"

His mother told her lovingly and forced a smile.

"I'm not a baby anymore mom. What did uncle Marcos doing here?"

He asked coldly, he already knew the answer but he still asked her.

"he is your mother's lover!"

His father answered his question angrily.

His mother bowed her head down and when she looked up, she was crying again.

"Toby, I....I love him...."

Her mother tried to explained to him, but he remained standing there. Not willing to open his mouth.

"love?! Pft! Is that love? Were you happy that you destroyed a family?! I don't know who you are now! You're not the woman whom I loved! You were a bitch to my eyes now!"

His father speak again, insulting his mother mercilessly.

His mother kept on looking at him, she was begging for him to forgave her and understand her. But when he heard the word 'family', his eyes dimmed and felt his heart full of anger.

Tobias freed himself from his mother's grip and stepped backward.

"Toby, baby please try to under...."

His mother pleaded again, but he cut her off by saying...

"understand? Mom, that man was uncle Marcos! He was the father of my childhood friend! He was Iya's father for heavens sake!"

He speak coldly to his mother. He was so mad that he wanted to punch that man's face out of respect!

But, he controlled himself because he knew it was wrong.

"your childhood friend? The cute little girl that you said, had a wonderful and happy family? Oh,I felt really sorry for that friends of yours Tobias. Your mother just stole her father! Isn't it great?!"

His father said to him sarcastically, but he knew that he was telling it to his mother.

Tobias knew that even his father says harsh things about her mother and being angry to her, he knew deep down his father was breaking and hurting too.

His mother just kept on crying, she came back to uncle Marcos embraced. When he saw that, he felt even more enraged! He can't stop his mouth, sprouting harsh words!

"mom! Do you really have the face, both of you to act like that in front of your husband and son?!"
