Awake on his bed

When the ambulance arrived at the nearest hospital, the medic pulled Maria out immediately. They pushed the stretcher towards the operating room, the man followed through.

"what happened to the patient?"

The doctor asked the man.

"I don't know, I found her on the mall bench shouting in pain and she was already bleeding."

The man explained nervously. He looked at Maria frustratedly, wondering what had happened to her.

She was white as paper!

"did you find something inside her bag?"

"yes, I have her baby book, here!"

The man stretched out the book towards the doctor. The doctor accepted it hurriedly and gave it to the attending nurse beside him.

The man went outside due to the doctor's order. He was pacing back and forth anxiously.

Inside the operating room.

The doctor was busy doing his work on Maria. He needed to do C-section, because she was having a twin.

"how old are the babies?"

The doctor asked the nurse seriously.

"33 weeks"

The nurse responded quickly.

The doctor kept on asking the nurse about everything related to the patient. He kept on saving the woman's life and her babies.

But, he was not sure about the outcome of this operation. There were lots of blood came out from her body. She was a little bit late arriving at hospital.

And she was on the critical time giving birth. The babies were not supposed to be out this time. It was too early!

Outside the operating room.

The man waited for the doctor to stepped out. But, five hours had passed, none came out from the operating room.

His worry increased even more!

What was happening inside?!

He saw a nurse walking towards the room. He called her and asked her quickly. But before he could open his mouth to asked the nurse, the operating room door swung open.

The doctor came out looking haggard due to long hour of work. He looked serious and cold.

The man walked towards him hurriedly and nervous at the same time.

"doc, how's the patient?"

He asked worriedly.

"what's your relationship with the patients?"

The man scratched the back of his neck and replied shyly. He need to answer the doctor wisely or else he can't be able to know what's happening!

He calmed his self and put on a serious face.

"I'm her....husband."

"but I didn't see a ring on her finger."

The doctor said emotionlessly.

'Dang! Why is he so hard to talked with?!'

The man inwardly thought to himself. He tried hard not to react not according to the act.

"we're hiding it on our family, you know.... young love. So, we can't revealed it yet but we do have a marriage certificate. I'll get it if you wanted."

He said seriously, not even blinking an eye.
