Azeroth Monster Manual
#114 - Demiplane
"Is this your Mage Tower? It's beautiful!"
Kallein muttered to herself, excitedly touching the snow-white base of the tower.
"I feel like my magic has become even more abundant here. Is this the legendary Magic Summoning Array?"
Eran, on the other hand, was gazing at the giant sapphire embedded in the towering tower, clicking his tongue in amazement.
"Mentor... they, sorry, they've never seen such... such..."
"Such a lavish Mage Tower?"
Al turned his head with amusement, looking at Anslem, who was at a loss for words.
"Sorry, I didn't mean that. I just wanted to say that we've never seen such an advanced Mage Tower. We're captivated by this beautiful creation."
Anslem said somewhat embarrassedly.
"Haha, it's okay. This will be the headquarters of Al's Light from now on. If you like, you can choose any room in my Mage Tower as your residence."
Al smiled and said nonchalantly.
"Really? Mentor! Can we really choose our own rooms! ?"
Kallein turned her head, her face full of excitement.
"Of course. Before that, let me take you around the Mage Tower."
...
Led by Al, the three walked into the Mage Tower with excited hearts.
Just as the four stepped into the Mage Tower, a crisp metallic synthesized sound rang in everyone's ears.
"Humanoid life form detected approaching—identity verification—welcome, Mentor Al Salona."
"Frankie, turn on authentication mode."
Al said to the empty wall.
"Kallein - High-ranking Apprentice, activity range below the 16th floor."
"Anslem Rune Vivor - High-ranking Apprentice, activity range below the 16th floor."
"Nelas Eran - High-ranking Apprentice, activity range below the 16th floor."
...
"The 1st to 9th floors are the rest area. You can freely choose a room you like."
Al led the curious trio, touring his Mage Tower while introducing it in detail.
"The 10th floor is the Apprentice Laboratory. You can do some more complex experiments here. The defense of this tower is far beyond your imagination.
The 11th floor is the plantation. I've been to some continents, and it's no exaggeration to say that the strange plants planted in this plantation are something you've never seen before...
The 12th floor is the Alchemy Laboratory. Strictly speaking, this is where I do experiments. Of course, you can come and visit in the future.
The 13th floor is the Engineering Laboratory...
The 14th floor is the Rune Laboratory...
The 15th floor is the Material Storage Room. You can find rare materials here that you can't even find in Dalaran."
Al suddenly stopped and said seriously to the three:
"The next floor is the 16th floor, which is also the last floor you can freely move around. Although I trust your character very much, I still need you to sign a confidentiality agreement, because this floor is very important to me."
"No problem!"
"Of course! Mentor Al!"
"Understood!"
The three looked at each other excitedly, without any sense of frustration from signing the confidentiality agreement, only a sense of pride after being trusted.
Al shook his head with a chuckle, looking at these apprentices with pride on their faces, not knowing what to say.
...
"Next, don't be surprised by everything you see..."
Al smiled mysteriously, and then began to chant a spell in a low voice.
"Kara... Kara..."
After a grating metallic friction sound, the ground began to shake.
"Earthquake?"
Kallein swayed and supported Anslem's shoulder, saying in a panic.
"Crack..."
The originally white ceiling gradually turned into a square passage after twisting and turning like a Rubik's Cube.
Al's fingertips lit up with magical fluctuations. After the arcane particles were charged, the originally unremarkable passage instantly became a twisted portal flashing with a light purple light curtain.
"Let's go."
Al stopped talking and flew straight towards the portal above his head.
"I heard that some great archmages with profound attainments can use Mage Hand to achieve short-term flight, but mentor he..."
Anslem stared at Al's gradually disappearing figure, saying with some incomprehension.
This work is organized and uploaded by ~~
"What time is it? You still have the leisure to ask such an idiotic question. Isn't it a matter of course that the mentor can fly?"
Kallein curled her lips, ignoring her two companions, and reluctantly manipulated Mage Hand to send herself into the portal above her head.
Kallein had just recovered from the dizzy state of stepping through the portal when she was almost frightened and fell to the ground by the scene in front of her.
The expressions on the faces of the two archmages who followed closely behind were surprisingly consistent when they saw the scene in front of them.
"Holy Light... above..."
Kallein stared blankly at everything in front of her, muttering to herself.
"It's simply a miracle..."
Anslem rubbed his eyes, and after confirming again and again, he realized that he had not misread.
"Are we really in Mentor Al's Mage Tower and not in a strange continent?"
Eran said in disbelief.
Al floated in mid-air, looking at this demiplane in front of him, and couldn't help showing a smug smile.
On the green land, several Thunder Lizards were slowly drinking water by the lake.
Next to them was a Devil Tyrannosaurus Rex slightly smaller than Bimosch. Strangely, this Devil Tyrannosaurus Rex did not attack those drinking Thunder Lizards.
In the northwest of the group was an entire oil field, which seemed calm, but was actually full of dangers.
Eran wanted to go forward to check, but inadvertently noticed several pairs of vicious little eyes hidden in the oil field, so he hurriedly stopped.
"Roar!"
The guy in the oil field seemed to realize that his disguise had been exposed, so he roared angrily and stood up from the dark oil.
Like a chain reaction, as this strange creature roared, roars rang out one after another in the oil field.
One after another, dark figures stood up from the oil field, and Eran opened his mouth a little fearfully.
"Tar Beast, a mutated Forest Sprite, with a strong sense of territory."
Al's voice sounded in Eran's ears at the right time.
"Men... Mentor, where exactly is this... where exactly is it?"
Anslem asked with some stuttering.
"Don't doubt, you are still in my Mage Tower..."
Al smiled faintly and landed from mid-air.
"But here..."
Kallein said in shock.
"This is the demiplane in the Mage Tower. It gathers all the space archmages in Silvermoon City and consumes an unknown amount of magic crystals to construct this demiplane. I call it - Salona's Testing Ground."
Al glanced complexly at the demiplane in front of him, which was almost identical to Angor Crater, but many times smaller, and couldn't help sighing in his heart.
"Kaz'goroth... Naburo... Let me fulfill your unfinished wish."
