“These animals… how can they be?”
The trio and Hermit all stared in shock at the animals around them.
“Because Ayr also has the scent of nature on him.”
Milune skipped around the boy like an innocent little girl, occasionally crinkling her little nose and sniffing Ayr.
“The scent of nature, what is that?”
Hermit awkwardly dodged among a group of brown bears. These adorable bears reminded him of his hunting days in Dun Morogh, when snow bears would nudge his rear.
“Let’s go, we’ve wasted too much time already.”
“No! You can’t go any further!”
Just as Ayr dismissed the animals and prepared to continue, Milune stood firmly in front of them.
“A big monster is hiding in the Dark Abyss! And those nasty naga. You are Milune’s good friends, Milune can’t watch you die there!”
A pleading light flickered in the tree nymph girl’s watery eyes.
“Can you tell me more about the Dark Abyss?”
Ayr smiled slightly, his slender hand gently placed on Milune’s head.
Milune felt the warm touch on her head and closed her eyes comfortably.
Ayr shook his head and smiled as he watched Milune acting like a spoiled pet. This girl was too adorable.
“Okay, after you hear Milune’s story, you have to leave obediently.”
Milune raised a delicate finger in front of her and said softly.
So the group, accompanied by a few animals that were reluctant to leave, patiently listened to Milune’s “story.”
Under the tree nymph girl’s narration, the group finally understood what kind of danger lurked in the cave called “Dark Abyss.”
The Dark Abyss is located on the Zoram Strand in Ashenvale. It was once a glorious temple dedicated to the moon goddess Elune of the night elves.
However, the temple collapsed during the Great Sundering ten thousand years ago and sank into the misty sea.
The temple remained isolated until the naga and satyr, attracted by the ancient power within, came to explore its secrets, which changed everything.
According to night elf legends, Aku'mai, one of the Old God’s favorite pets, lives deep within the temple ruins.
“That big snake has three heads! It can swallow thousands of small fish into its stomach with one bite. It’s so scary!
And those hateful naga, those nasty ghosts always break the balance of nature. They not only cut down ancient trees, but also capture those poor elves and send them to the big snake to eat!”
Milune lowered her voice, gesticulating wildly as she told the story, trying to look scary. Her slender little hands waved randomly, and her two watery eyes deliberately widened.
The girl’s idea was very simple, it seemed that doing so would dispel Ayr’s thoughts.
The tree nymph girl’s adorable actions caused everyone to laugh, even Hermit, who was always wary, couldn’t help but laugh.
“Hey! What are you laughing at? What Milune said is true. If you don’t listen to Milune, you will really be eaten by that ugly big snake!”
Milune pouted and tugged on Ayr’s sleeve, protesting loudly.
Ayr patted the girl’s emerald hair dotingly, signaling her not to be angry, and said softly:
“It’s okay, Milune. Do you see that big beard? As long as he punches lightly, those hateful naga and strange snakes will be knocked to the ground by him.”
As if to confirm Ayr’s words, Hermit rolled up his sleeves, his thick biceps slightly bulging, and soon turned light gray. The entire arm also became several times larger under the urging of the earth’s divine power.
“Wow! That’s so interesting!”
Milune covered her small mouth and exclaimed.
The tree nymph’s exclamation made Hermit even more proud. He swung his thick arm like an electric fan, and the large rocks and driftwood soaked in seawater on the ground turned into dust under the dwarf’s brute force.
A gust of breeze blew, and all the stone dust and wood chips were blown into the sky, scattering on everyone’s heads.
“Enough! Hermit!”
Ayr slapped the debris off his head with a dark face and hurriedly called to stop.
“How is it, Milune? Can you tell us the location of the Dark Abyss now?”
Milune looked at the old dwarf, then at Ayr, somewhat hesitant.
Ayr was not in a hurry, just watching the girl’s eyes, waiting for her decision.
After a while, Milune finally made up her mind and said.
“I want to go with you. If you agree, I will tell you the location of the Dark Abyss!”
Milune wrinkled her little nose. Ayr could clearly see her upper body trembling slightly. This little deer was obviously extremely scared.
“What a lovely creature.”
Ayr’s eyes showed a hint of appreciation and he agreed to Milune’s request.
So, after some delay, the group re-embarked on their journey.

After killing a few ignorant murloc slaves, the group finally arrived at their destination - the Dark Abyss.
Looking at the dilapidated high elf architecture around him, Hermit couldn’t wait to transform into a construction worker and carry all these “treasures” away and sell them to the sucker of the Holy Relics Association.
“It’s here. Milune only knows that going down from here is the Dark Abyss, but Milune has never been in there.”
Milune walked in front of the group, pointing to a ruin in front of her.
The dark seawater enveloped all the exposed architectural remains, and the faint moonlight shone on this blurred high elf site, adding a bit of mystery to this adventure.
“I feel that the sea has completely submerged the entire temple. Are we really going down?”
Calaine looked at the bottomless temple ruins and said hesitantly.
“Coward!”
Hermit curled his lips in disdain. Before everyone could react, he plunged down.
“Save… glug glug…”
Wenossis screamed for help in horror, but the old dwarf obviously didn’t give him the chance. After a burst of fierce floundering, the troll disappeared with the dwarf in front of everyone.
“That idiot!”
Ayr’s face was dark. After releasing [Underwater Breathing] on everyone, he pulled Milune and jumped down together.
The trio looked at each other and jumped down together.
…
After a long dive, the group finally landed.
Ayr carefully looked at the place where everyone was. It was a dark and gloomy cave. Every ten meters on the narrow passage wall, there was a dim torch. These torches were soaked in the oil of some animal and were very durable.
Before Ayr could finish his inspection, a panicked cry came from ahead.
The boy didn’t care about anything and hurried forward to check.
“Help! Lord Ayr, save me! Someone’s dead!”
Hermit shouted loudly while pressing on Wenossis’s chest.
Ayr looked at the troll’s face, which looked like a paint box had been overturned, and walked forward angrily, kicking the old dwarf’s upturned butt.
“You’re going to kill him, you bastard!”
The boy shouted angrily and checked the troll’s condition.
“Five ribs are broken… He can still be saved.”
Ayr wiped the cold sweat that had seeped out of his forehead at some point. If Wenossis really died, this plan would probably be completely ruined.
