192. Extra Chapter 2 Bo Yu’s Diary

As he arrives home, the nanny offers a cup of cold fruit tea to him, “Mr. Song’s back. He’s upstairs in the study.”

Hearing that, Bo Yu squints at the man, “Why not show me your diary?”

Song Shilin replies indifferently, “I never write that. If you don’t believe, you can check in my study.”

Bo Yu wrote a diary because he was free and bored at that time. He found it from the bottom of the bookshelf at the beginning of this year. The man considered that no one would go through his stuff, so he didn’t hide it. However, his secretes are exposed to Song Shilin because of his oversight. That irritates Bo Yu, but he feels more embarrassed.

This notebook has record Bo Yu’s love life and frustration in work. Bo Yu browsed through it at the beginning of the year, but only to find that he was like a good-for-nothing hipster when he wrote these words years ago.

Bo Yu’s face flames. He grunts dismally.

Song Shilin stops teasing Bo Yu, “Come here.” The former raises his eyes to stare at the latter.

Bo Yu is afraid that Song Shilin will mad at him because of his diary, so he walks over without hesitation. The man sits beside Song Shilin with a guilty look on his face.

However, Song Shilin frowns. He then directly holds Bo Yu’s arms to sit Bo Yu on his laps.

Bo Yu slightly moves his hips in a fidgety manner. He has eaten much food and seldom hit the gym. The weighing scale told him this morning that he has gained some weight. However, Song Shilin looks composed when Bo Yu turns around. The man even pinches Bo Yu’s waist, so Bo Yu doesn’t stand up.

‘He doesn’t care about my weight. Why should I care?’

Song Shilin asks, “Where have you been this morning?”

Bo Yu finally realizes the great matter. He fumbles for his phone and open his mailbox. “I went to the filming site. Newbies are handsome, but I don’t know whether they’re good performers or not.” Showing Song Shilin his phone guiltily, Bo Yu explains.

Song Shilin narrows his eyes. He feels weird.

In general, Bo Yu will give up if another male lead’s social status is lower than him, or the crew will edit the script to keep only one male lead.

However, this play is not the case. The crew keep two male leads and another one is a newbie.

‘How come Bo Yu agrees with that?’

Considering that, Song Shilin squints at Bo Yu suspiciously with brows knitted. The latter is about to turn on the former. However, Bo Yu’s wrath dies out as he remembers the unwritten rule between them when they made peace two years ago. He has promised not to star a homosexual play which has two male leads. “That’s different. The script is written by Guo. It has great plot and logic. I love it.”

Song Shilin lowers his eyes to read the script on the phone. He immediately realizes why Bo Yu looks so guilty after browsing through the first page.

Sneering, the man turns the phone over on the table. The crispy sound makes Bo Yu gasp, ‘I just bought it!’

“Have you forgotten what I told you?” Song Shilin glares at Bo Yu.

The latter replies dejectedly, “One of the investors is from my old firm. He came to me in person. How could I refuse him? If my old firm didn’t give me chance, I won’t be able to get up after falling down every time. I have no choice but to consent.”

‘Besides…’

Bo Yu rests his feet on Song Shilin’s uneasily.

Song Shilin always spoils Bo Yu, but now he doesn’t want to. The man kicks Bo Yu’s feet away ruthlessly. However, he holds Bo Yu tightly in his arms, “Although there’re people who have supported us since we publicize our relationship, negative comments online have never decreased. You were rejected for a few times when you found interesting scripts. If you star in a homosexual movie, you know exactly what you will face, right?”

Bo Yu understands that, but his image has been tarnished because he’s gay. Some interesting scripts have slipped through his fingers. Although the number of gay people is growing in Hua Country and they have been understood and accepted by many straight people, there are a huge number of people can’t accept such “abnormal” love.

Song Shilin’s the president of the Song Group. The Song family and the company have no problem with his love life. Others have no right to judge Bo Yu and Song Shilin. The Song Group once announced through its official Weibo account that, “We should pay more attention to a person’s character and abilities, not his sexual orientation.”
