Collin's Otherworld Adventure

We kept on walking, and we finally make it out of dead pass forest, and we reach the outskirts of my village, Klein nervously asks.

"so what is the plan?"

I reply.

"it's simple, I'll tell the gaurds that I've acquired a spell that lets me tame monsters."

Gresnor Replies with praise.

"that sounds like a good Idea."

but Klein looks at me like if I lost my mind, and responds with panic in his voice.

"are you insane, they are not going to believe that

crazy story."

I reply with lack lof confidence.

"of course they will, you just have to pretend to listen to me and things will be fine."

Klein responds sarcastically.

"oh thank you for showing me your confidence to this plan Collin, it really helps."

Gresnor chimes in.

"stop your belly aching, if this is the only way to get you inside, then we are going to execute the plan."

I reply.

"thank you Gresnor, I'm someone believes in my plan."

Klein sighs and says.

"fine I get it, we'll go with your plan Collin."

we approach closer to Arce, and since it doesn't have walls like the ones in the Capital but it still has several small watchtowers scattered on the outer perimeter of Arce, I then think to myself.

"if I don't want to cause trouble by sneaking in, we need to get the approval of the gaurds so when we are allowed to enter, we won't have to worry about gaurds hunting us down."

one of the watchtowers comes into view and we approach it, a voice then shouts.

"you three stay where you are."

as we wait around two gaurds approach us, a male and female, and immediately the female gaurd asks in a surprised voice.

"Collin is that you?"

that voice is familiar, I then think to myself.

"no it can't be."

the male gaurd asks her.

"are you familiar with one of them?"

she takes of her helmet, and then the feeling of having butterflies in my stomach began to rise, as I stare at Rosie, my voice cracks as I ask.

"Rosie is that you?"

she laughs with joy as she hugs me, the male gaurd then says.

"well I guess that answers that question, but before I let you enter, I need you to answer me some questions quick."

and as Rosie let's go of me, I respond.

"of course I'll answer them, ask away."

as he looks at both Gresnor, and Klein, he asks.

"why are you in company of a lizard, and that thing that looks like a human?"

I respond with a serious tone, as I put my hand on Gresnor shoulder.

"he is friend mine, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be alive."

Rosie's eyes light up and she mouths thank you to Gresnor, I then take my hands off Gresnor's shoulder and put it on Klein and I say.

"and this one, is under my spell."

both Rosie and the gaurd look at me in confusion, he then asks.

"what do you mean under you spell."

I reply.

"well you see I left this village around a year ago or so to set off on an adventure, and in my journey I found legendary spellbook, that contained a spell that lets you tame a monster until you or they die."

both of them seem to buy it, but then the gaurd follows up with another question.

"so does this mean you can tame monsters?"

I reply.

"well I can only control this one at a time, at least until they die, so if this one dies I can go look for another and control it, here I'll show you that he listens to what I say."

I look to Klein and I say with a commanding voice.

"Klein shake their hands."

he immediately extends his right hand, and they both shake his hand cautiously, and after they finish I then say to Klein.

"good now follow me until I give you the next order"

The gaurd then says with an impressed voice.

"now that is something that I've never thought I would witness, a monster following orders to a living being."

he then turns to Rosie and says.

"alright Rosie, Since you know this fellow, guide them inside the tower so that they can get their permit papers."

we then follow Rosie inside the watchtower, where she says to someone inside.

"the captain has given them permission to enter the village, can you give me three permit papers."

he replies.

"oh sure, here you go."

Rosie grabs the permits, and as she hands them over to us, she says.

"now please don't lose these, if any gaurd inside the village stop you, just show them these permits and they will leave you alone."

I reply.

"thank you Rosie."

she smiles and then asks.

"so are you back for good?"

I reply unsure.

"honestly I don't know, there are still some things I need to take care of."

she then asks.

"are you going to see your parents and sister?"

I reply.

"yeah and after that I'm going ti head towards Grezia."

she responds.

"okay then I'll be coming with you, just wait for me at your parent's house, I'll come by when I'm finished with my shift here."

I reply surprised.

you want to come along with me?"

she smiles and says.

"of course, it's been a year since I've seen you, and there is no way I'm wasting this opportunity to come along with you."

Gresnor chuckles as he says.

"ah young love at it's finest."

I elbow Gresnor's c.h.e.s.t as I say.

"oh shut it."

Rosie giggles and says.

"okay then, I guess I'll be seeing you later."

I reply embarrassed.

"yeah um sure."

the three of us then leave the watch tower and start heading inside the village, it didn't take to long to find the way back to my old home, I think to myself as I stare it.

"I still can't believe that I'm home."

Klein then says.

"I can't believe we actually pulled it off, you are a damn genius Collin."

Gresnor responds smuggly.

"well I've never doubted his plan."

Klein replies annoyed.

"oh shut it, your neck wasn't on the line if the plan failed, only mine."

Gresnor gestures to Klein to keep his mouth close, but Klein ignores him and says to me.

"hey Collin you never told me you had a beauty of a girlfriend before."

I reply more embarrased then before.

"you never asked."

Klein puts his arm around my shoulder and say.

"come on don't be embarrased, I'm just teasing you, now come on lets meet your parents."

we then walk through the front gate, I then knock on the door as I wait for them to answer.
