Danger Zone

Chapter 108 - Unexpected Meeting

"Oh my goodness, I can't believe that you are dating my brother! You bitch!"

Crystal has been talking about the relationship all throughout their journey to the hidden coffee shop. Daime and Primo are walking behind them while Aiden is being busy rolling his eyes as Crystal talks.

"Oh you need to tell me everything! Why does your sister left this information to me?! I hate that bitch!"

Crystal grumbles as she laughs at her own antics. Aiden kept on thinking as to how do his cousin married this woman.

"Do you think we should tell her?"

Daime looks at Primo while asking the question, making the older man think of their next action. Telling Daime's sister won't do anything good to the both of them, and Daime knows that as well.

But being caught in action by his sister is much worse than dealing with her being confused with their relationship.

Primo thinks for a moment, citing every possible outcome to this decision before making every drastic move that could lead to their death.

"If we did, what will happen to us?"

Daime looks at her sister's pouting face that turns into a menacing smile. She is planning of killing or even bothering Jasmine just for this information.

Since according to her, "It is Jasmine's fault for hiding it from me!" Yelling to the top of their lungs as they pass through the modern busy streets of Geneva.

Aiden can only sigh, turning to the two giants behind them, discussing about a certain topic that he can't quite get.

"First possible outcome is that she will be confused, which is the most obvious outcomes of all. In which, we also need to prepare a perfect explanation as to why this is happening or why we asked for this type of relationship."

Primo nods at Daime while thinking for the next possible outcome of their confession.

"Second possible outcome will be her, going feral and attacks you for being dumb to even offer this type of relationship. She might even ask Aiden how or why he accepts such a drastic offer without even think much about it."

Daime nods this time, making sure that he gets every possible outcome in his mind so he can quietly think of an escape route when the confession is out or they will be dead even before the wedding comes.

"Third will be something more unbelievable and a miracle if it happens."

Primo looks at Daime in understanding about that scenario.

"Your sister being acceptable and wish for the relationship to bloom into a beautiful flower and eventually shines like a diamond?"

Daime nods at this and hopes for it to happen. It is not an impossible feat but both of them know that convincing a person like his sister needs a much bigger power force.

"Or she will just laugh it off and thinks that we are just joking about the whole three-way relationship façade. Until she realizes that we are telling the truth."

Primo sighs as he stops from walking and looks at Daime's direction.

"That is the thing that I am wishing to happen, to be honest. Her just laughing it off as if it is the funniest joke she had heard."

Daime sighs back as they look at their surrounding and frowns to see that they are far from the city and back to China Town.

Aiden also stops on his tracks and looks at the place that they are in. He frowns and looks at Crystal, who is only smiling at her.

"I am sorry but, he just asked me to pick you guys up. He just wants a chat, he said."

Aiden is confused at whom she is speaking about. He keeps on thinking who it is but the only people she can think of is Arch and her husband.

Primo feels something is wrong with the place and places down the decors that they buy and tells Daime to get ready because someone might ambush them.

Crystal smiles upon seeing her brother being all protective over Aiden. In her mind, Daime is all grown up and doesn't need to be protected and she is proud that he grows up like that.

She looks at Aiden who is all confused until everything clicked. There is still one person that might be involved with this scheme.

He breaks a smile when he sees a familiar figure walking towards their direction.

Standing not far from where they are, is a six feet man holding a smoking cigarette stick, buffed muscular physique, strong arms and white hair.

Primo looks at the man as he walks slowly to them. He doesn't recognize him or he hasn't met him before but his aura speaks off of a true boss of the underground scheme of Switzerland.

Wearing a black coat and a blue long sleeves underneath the coat, tight black pants and an eye patch on his left eye, Primo know that he is here for either something bad or something good.

Daime looks at the man and he suddenly feels familiarity. It is as if he met this person before but he is not sure where.

He looks at Aiden's expression and sees the smile on his face. He looks genuinely happy to see this person.

Daime draws Primo back from his position and makes him carry the bags of decorations needed for the wedding.

"What are you doing, Daime? We don't who your sister is talking about."

Daime only shakes his head before nodding at the old man's direction. As he stops in front of Aiden and the guys, Crystal bows at him with a smile plastered on her face.

"I brought Aiden to you, Headmaster."

Aiden feels giddy and immediately hugs the old guy, making Daime and Primo stun to their places when they heard Aiden calling him with his name.

"Father! I miss you so much!"

They both look stupid for not knowing what Aiden's father looks like and what is Crystal's connection with him. The old guy shows a smile to them as he puffs out his chest and puts his hands inside of his pocket.

"Nice to finally meet you, boys. My name is Evon Clarke Matautia, Aiden's father."

Primo gulps when he hears of his name. He is quite sure that he met this man before, he just doesn't know where.

Daime is just looking at the old man and bows at him before introducing himself. Letting everything that guards him to disappear so fear won't come haunting him down after this interaction.

"Daime Santoro. Nice to meet you, good Sir."

Crystal smiles at her brother after giving a proper introduction. Aiden smiles as well after hearing Daime's introduction. He even bows to his father as a sign of respect.

Aiden looks at Primo but his expression is different. He gulps when he realizes that maybe Primo had targeted his father before because of his past and his escape.

Master Evon only chuckles at Primo reaction and tells them to follow them to the hidden coffee shop.

Normally, Daime and Primo will say no to this request. But there is nothing they can do but follow because they don't have anyone to back them up except themselves.

Daime looks around the corner on his side and spots five watchdogs and three female-looking assassins with their gears up front, ready to strike and ready to kill.

Primo looks at his side and sees three male watchdogs with their eyes glued at him with Cassie in the middle as their team leader.

Cassie nods her head towards the direction of the Headmaster of the Matautia Group and smiles at Primo bitterly.

"Damn it. We don't have any escape route. We are literally toast right now."

Daime nods at Primo and quietly follows the Headmaster, his sister and Aiden. Primo sighs as they walk slowly, making sure to keep their distance from the old man and Daime's sister.

"Don't send signals, child. This place is filled with phone jammers."

Primo looks at the back of the old man and sighs. In his mind, they really don't have an escape route.

Daime is still pretty chill up until this point because he is not overthinking things and just going with the flow of the situation.

Looking back at Primo before sighing and telling his cousin to calm down.

"You need to chill, dude. What could go wrong?"

Primo wishes that he could just shrugs at the thought of anything could go sideways, leading up to their death but there is nothing much he can do up to this point.

The Headmaster is already here and whatever favor he wants to ask to them is something they can't say no at. Primo knows this a hundred percent since he is trying to make a good impression to Aiden's father.

He had been missing a lot of attention that Aiden must've been craving a lot of it from him. He inhales a heavy sigh and drops every wrong thing that his brain can think of and focus on what is happening now.

"Right, what could go wrong?"
