Danger Zone

Chapter 109 - Plan Of Surprise

Daime and Primo are sitting side by side as they are being face by the head of the Matautia group. In front of them is Aiden, carrying a small child on his legs while waiting for his father to speak.

Both of the Santoros are nervous so to speak. But there is nothing they can do but wait until master Evon begins saying something other than looking at them with a bank expression.

Primo has never felt like this before. This isn't the first time that he encounters someone as powerful as Master Evon.

But there is something about the man that pisses him off and can't shake off the feeling of running away from the coffee shop.

Primo knows that he should just calm down but there is nothing he can do. He can't think straight even if he is not straight at all. He is still bothered and he can't help not to be.

He looks at Daime and is amaze at how Daime composes himself in front of powerful people like Aiden's father. Primo is thinking whether it is because of the training that Daime takes from the Santoro or it is just pure instinct.

Master Evon watches them carefully. Observing at how nervous the boys are and how they will act around Aiden or with each other.

To be honest, he is not a fan of the three-way relationship since it brings them to the point of jealousy and rage about time and attention.

Seeing them now, Master Evon can sense that only one of the two boys in front of him truly loves his son. And this realization pains him the most.

He doesn't want his son to be left hurting because of the two. It pains him seeing Aiden cry for these bastards in front of him.

Madness.

That's the thing that he will feel if that happens. He might even hunt these boys down to the ends of the Earth if they ever hurt his only boy.

Master Evon clears his throat after clearing his mind of murderous intent against the boys. He promises Crystal that he will not hurt her brother whatever he does or as long as they will not attack him.

He promises and in their family, a promise will always be and stay a promise. They are practice to fulfill and not break.

Unlike what happened many years ago with his grandparent. He sighs in his thoughts as he stares at the boys once again.

It is clear as day that they are scared and he wants to ease those fears away but he also knows that he can't. Master Evon knows that he needs to tough it up and presents himself as the head of their family.

"I can see that you are taking care of my son very well."

It is awkward. Everything inside of that café speaks out awkwardness. Crystal can't even cut the tension using a table knife or even a kitchen scissor.

She will need a heavy machine to cut this tension between the three tall men. She looks over to Aiden who is playing with their son, Arch.

She sighs at loss, making her think how can Aiden keeps his posture whenever his father is around. She has never seen Master Evon breaks his aura and composure of being the scariest man in Switzerland.

But maybe none of that matter if Master Evon is part of their family. He might have been acting differently whenever he is around his people.

She chuckles at how awkward the boys are. Even her husband, Miko is laughing at them. She slaps his arm to make him shut up but she is laughing as well.

"They are trying to scare each other. How pathetic."

Master Evon hears what Miko says and glares at him. Primo flinches at how strong that glare is but amazes at how Crystal's husband just laughs it off and continues to work.

Even Crystal gets scared at that glare.

The staring contest and the heavy tension continue as if nothing happened. Aiden looks at them as he rolls his eyes before smacking his father's shoulder and glares at him.

"Aiden! Why would you do that?!"

Just like a child.

Miko laughs with his whole body when he finally hears the man who takes him under his care after Aiden and his sister goes to the Philippines.

The tiny voice and the tiny pouts that the man is trying to portray is something out of this world.

The reaction made Daime and Primo stun away from the situation and rethink of their evaluation about the old man in front of them.

"Stop scaring my boyfriends and just talk! We still need to buy things for the wedding tomorrow! Hurry up!"

Crystal whips her head towards their direction and Daime and feel the glaring eyes and the confuse expression that his sister is giving off.

She looks at Master Evon's reaction and it looks like the old man is not quite shock at the sudden revelation.

He is still looking at Aiden and frowning at his son, who is only looking at him with a glare that's as bad as the one that Master Evon gives to Miko.

"I don't care if you need to buy more things! That Witch has been treating you badly since the first day you came in!"

Aiden looks at his father with a disgusted expression and pushes him away. He gives Arch to Daime for him to hold for a minute before Aiden argues with his father.

"Stop mocking my accent whenever I talk, father! You know that I hate it when you does it because you doing all of these weird gestures!"

Master Evon just shows him a pouty face and blinks his eyes faster than 3 seconds to imitate a baby doing beautiful eyes.

"Ew! You gross, old man! Stop doing that shit! You look stupid!"

Aiden gawks at his expression and pushes him away even further. The latter stands up from his seat and grab another one to place it away from his father.

He grabs Arch from Daime's arms but the little boy doesn't want to let go. He is even holding Primo's finger tightly and giggles when he sees Primo smiling.

"Oh my goodness, Crystal! Are you seeing this? I think your son is like me!"

Crystal closes her ears when Aiden suddenly exclaims like a dying pig. Master Evon's whole façade from earlier has been long forgotten because of Arch.

Miko only chuckles as his wife shakes her head and walks towards them to grab her son away from these four people.

"Give me my son before you lecherous people corrupt him. Now, go fucking talk!"

Aiden flinches away as Daime fixes his posture and Primo clears his throat. Master Evon is satisfied with their reaction at how they entertain children.

Since their family mainly consists of children, he is worried that if the two boys join their family, the children will be scared and will not talk to them at all.

"Excuse me, Sir. If I may ask, why are you here and what do you from us?"

Master Evon leans back to his seat and shows a tiny smile. He nods his head and takes the bag underneath the table and pulls out a white folder before placing it in front of the boys.

"Inside this folder is the information of one Aster Santoro. And I think you boys know who it is."

Clearly, by their reaction, both of them know who Aster Santoro is. Upon hearing the name, Primo grabs the folder and flips it open.

"Why do you have this? What do you want from me?"

Aiden looks at Primo after addressing himself being Aster Santoro. In his mind, he has heard that name before but can't quite remember where.

He looks at Daime and the latter just nods at him, confirming the identity of Aster Santoro.

"You see, young man. Your grandmother is planning on something after the wedding on Saturday, in which she has the audacity to invite me as well."

Primo frowns at his tone of voice. He doesn't know where this conversation is going but he is guessing that it is either somewhat good or bad.

"But I won't go to the stupid wedding with something up my sleeves."

Master Evon grins at the three men in front of him before looking straight to his son's eyes. Aiden looks back at him and shakes his head.

"No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no."

Master Evon only smiles back since his decision is already made. But he doesn't have the plan to tell it to them.  He wants to see their reaction fully.

Nothing scripted and nothing expected.

But Aiden has a feeling that it has to do with him, just by the way his father looks at him. He knows that he is planning something that could either be the reason of his demise or the reason for something greater than his demise.

"Don't you worry, my boy. It has to happen anyway."

Aiden just shakes his head as he looks down to the floor and groans to his father's secret plan.

"And as for you two young men. I need a favor to ask of you."

Daime and Primo looks at Master Evon as they wait for his request. Something about the long pauses and building up pressure is what Master Evon loves to push to them.

Primo sighs and Daime's eyes widen in surprise to know what is the favor, making Aiden wants to choke his father to death.

"How do you expect me to survive when you say that in front of many people, you stupid old man?!"
