Demon Emperor Prodigy System

Authors note: This is a story of Beelzebub, and I hope it is as enjoyable to read as possible. The Hero refers to the perspective of Demons. Thank you to all my readers.

"A few centuries ago, recognising the threat of the demon race, humans decided to put their differences aside and make a temporary truce pact with all the other surrounding nations; a few races you may recognise would be elves, vampires or dwarves."

"The supposed threat was nonexistent as demons have never really focused on the conquering of other nations within the continent and alternatively decided to stay at the outskirts of the continent and live peacefully."

"Even if demons have done nothing to cause humans to believe there was a threat, the potential of gaining a land of a kingdom, turning the people into slaves and neutralising the race with the strongest connection to mana seemed too appealing to pass for the greedy, selfish, sinful beings that humans are."

"Nonetheless, with the help of other kingdoms, humans started a war on demons. Demons might have been stronger when it came to their mana resonation and naturally stronger bodies, but they lacked experience. Humans always focused on warfare and conquering nations, especially before forcing all the human kingdoms into an empire. Demons never focused on physical battle, considering they never were engaged in conquering other nations. Since never entirely being involved with other nations, they never anticipated such an event to befall them."

"Demons, even if physically superior and resonated with the mana to a significantly greater degree they were inexperienced in warfare, outnumbered and lacked practical fighting experience."

"The battlefields were covered in the blood of fallen demons. Families were ripped apart as demons were killed in battle or kidnapped as slaves."

"All colour left the nation as citizens began losing hope it all seemed lost, the land they cherished covered in the blood of those that not long ago they knew as family or friends."

"The situation was dire, as, over the years, the demon nation became close to extinction."

"In their desperation, demons decided to experiment using babies, children and bodies of their dead opponents and prisoners."

"The attempt to experiment with DNA splicing to create the ultimate demon that would be strong enough to stop the war resulted in my creation."

"With the already fast demon growth further enhanced by the DNA splicing, I quickly grew older. With the vampire DNA helping with retaining a youthful appearance."

"With the most desirable traits of each race, I became powerful quite quickly, and with my strength and experience gained over the battles in the process of improving my strength, I became the greatest fighter both in technique and mana utilisation. The abilities I could utilise were simply superior. I could use the abilities of all the races as well as some only available to me based on my genetic make-up."

"As you may know, some abilities are specific to particular races, but that was never a limitation when it came to me."

"The person who can access the books left behind by me will have a choice to absorb an artificial crystal corresponding to a specific section of my DNA. This meaning they will still be a pure demon by nature, but there will be DNA of other races that will become spliced into their DNA."

"The DNA splicing would take place utilising this method for the first time in history. As a result, there is a risk, but the payoff can prove worth the risk. Understandably that risk is reduced concerning my descendants. The choice is still left to the person that is capable of accessing the book itself."

"Nonetheless, coming back to the story. After becoming the strongest being in existence, I forced peace upon all nations for centuries. The issues I encountered were personal, as, after many centuries of watching those I loved and my descendants die from old age, eternal life did not seem as such an appealing concept anymore."

"As a result, I decided to seal myself away so that if there was ever a need for my strength, it could be inherited by my descendant."

"This summarises everything that you must know. If you require more detail, feel free to read the book as everything is in detail since the book describes everything. However, it seems you can only depend on the summary within the books first few pages as the detailed story of my life seems to have split between all eight books."

Lucifer looked at Beelzebub. He carefully listened to everything that was said and made sure to take note of everything that was noteworthy.

He proceeded to ask, "are there any conditions that are placed upon a person that gains your power or at least a part of it?"

Beelzebub responded, "Not quite the focus is more based on finding someone who qualifies even to access my power. Thus anyone who can has fulfilled all existing conditions."

Lucifer thought about it, "This is a fantastic opportunity to gain strength. Ever since being reincarnated, my life has been different but enjoyable. I want to keep the lives of these innocent demons safe."

Lucifer looked the man in front of him in the eyes and stated, "Can you please provide me with a portion of your power sealed away in this book?"

The man looked at the boy in front of him and stated, "Are you sure, boy, there will be no coming back from this choice. The remanent of my soul will be absorbed by you and disappear also."

Lucifer looked at Beelzebub and said, "this is the only way that I can protect the lives of those that are innocent", he stated, but in his thoughts did think about his growing hate towards humans.

"Well, I shall entrust you with a portion of my power that is enclosed within this seal. I wish we could have met again in the future".

As Beelzebub finished talking, a bright light appeared in an instant, and before Lucifer knew it, he was no longer in the deep endless darkness but instead back at the library, the book now gone.
